      Gave Khan and Khan a call late on Sunday, after a little side project of my own (replacing a section of some 40-year-old galvanized pipe with modern PEX) had resulted in a load of rust being swept down and fully clogged the sclerotic bits of galvanized pipe that remained. Out of time before having to return to work, and without a shower, I called Fremont Plumbing Connection. We decided that we could wait for the morning to make the remaining repairs. They came out, quickly assessed the situation, and got down to business. Two hours later, the job was complete. Friendly, honest, professional. A really great team. It's really refreshing to work with people who are competent and offer a great service at a fair price. Can't recommend these folks highly enough!

      Standing in line at my local Safeway, and it looks as though i have plenty of time to write a review. It's so frustrating to see the short-sighted way this location is managed
      In the face of competition from the local farmers market and up-scale grocery outlets, these folks are trying to compete by cutting inventories and cutting staff. Result: lines to the back of the store on weekend afternoons and weekends. Employees are demoralized because they wrongly get the heat for the understaffing and poor selection. Yeah, that will keep people from going to the competition! I give this location a year or less.

      Just a fabulous weekend in a wonderful setting. What serendipity to find (a) that Glendeven is located directly across the street from the former Rachel's Inn, location of deeply romantic scenes for us going back 25 years, and (b) that John and Mike are the new owners of the very same former Rachel's Inn, which is now so much in need of a thoughtful, caring resuscitation.

      Thoroughly enjoyed the Bay Loft, with views to the water, llama pasture, woodpeckers, and chickens. Just a lovely, lovely weekend.

      I've been calling on ArborTech for ten years now, and have always been very well served. They are highly knowledgeable professionals who do first-rate work in a timely manner and at a good price.

      Most recent experience: a 3+ year-old California Sycamore that had grown to 35 feet showed signs of a severe anthracnose infection last week. Not good. We loved that tree, and are only two weeks from the date that our home is to be on the Bay Friendly Garden Tour. ArborTech came out and confirmed my diagnosis. After some discussion about the poor prognosis (which I'd confirmed through my own research the night before), the sent a crew out, removed the tree, ground the stump, removed an adjacent tree, and installed a beautiful new (anthracnose-resistant) 24-inch-box (~12-foot-tall) London Plane sycamore. The crew was in and out, with everything cleaned up within the day. The replacement tree is beautiful, the price was right, and we're feeling good again about having our yard ready in time for the garden tour!

      I'll continue to call on ArobrTech whenever the need arises.

      Purchased Delta's California Native Bentgrass a year ago to replace my water-thirsty lawn with a drought-tolerant, no-mow native. As enthusiastic as I have been about the product, the service has been consistently above and beyond. Two examples:

      * After a prompt and professional installation, I continued watering in the lawn, per instructions. We hit a cool patch of weather, during which a previously existing and serious mildew infection that my grapes had been suffering from ended up taking hold in the lawn. Though Delta had nothing whatsoever to do with the mildew infection, Delta came out, removed nearly 800 square feet of infected lawn, and replaced it with new sod at no cost to me.

      * Our home will be on the Bay Friendly Garden Tour at the end of April, a full year after the initial installation. Unfortunately, we recently had a severe gopher infestation. After dealing with the gophers, I called Delta to get a recommendation as to how best to repair the damage in time for the tour. Delta came through again. We decided that because time was short, it would be best to patch with sod from rolls. I told them I thought that I'd need two. When I went to pick up the sod, I found that four had been shipped, and that the replacements rolls had been provided at no charge.

      These people have a superior product, and customer service that just doesn't quit. Dina is the best!
