Jul 21, 2023Normally I wait to write a review but i am too excited and happy with the work thus far that I HAD to leave one now. The crew is at my house right now and their attention to detail, collaboration, and thoughtful insights are on full display! The process throughout has been amazing and the end result will surely be great. Crazy how much a new window can change the look and feel of a unit drastically. These guys are exceptional. Truly. In a world filled with nasty salesmen selling snake oil, here you have Mendel and his crew moving from a place of love and integrity. I'm beyond excited. Thank you to Hana as well shepherding the process along.

Listen -- if I could give this place 7 stars I would. And if I could give reviews on specific staff, I would becuase this girl/new best friend neli (sp?) I would and this sister would get 19 stars. She was spectacular front to back and inside out. She took care of us and was just herself which made us comfortable being ourselves. Nothing was forced. She was so warm-- damn I can't stop giving her props. But in general I'm so happy this place is a bit far from me because they would be SICK of me if they were down the block. The wine,amazing! (No hangover! I mean what kind of magic juice is this sh*t?!) The couch seating, amazing! The warm intimate ambiance, amazing! The music, amazing! She even dj'd at the end and the vibes got even better with the Erykah Badu. This is longest review I have ever written but she and this establishment deserve it!

Oct 16, 2018Previous reviewLook- I moved to LA late last year and one of the things that stressed me out was finding a barber. But the stress is no more! Discovered Carlos and have been a loyal customer since then and more importantly thankful for every f*cking AmaZing cut I get. Here is thing- the right cut goes a long way. You walk different, talk different, smile harder and make better decisions with the right haircut. So knowing this you want to invest in quality and Carlos is a magician that respects the art + science
of hair cutting. The atmosphere in the shop is amazing as well. Good vibes, great conversations, and lively debate. Did I mention they even offer refreshments and snacks with limited wait time? 5 stars for Carlos and the shop, you know what, Check that-- 10 stars! See you in there my people.
