Service - Fantastic; Food - Great; Owners - Greedy
We sat at the bar on a Friday night for drinks and dinner. Our bartender was a great guy (and golfer, so I heard) and the drinks, food, and conversation was top notch - exactly what we've come to expect from Wildfire.
When we asked for the check, our bar-mates advised us to look for the surcharge and dispute it. They explained that over the pandemic, the kids took over the father, and decided to hold onto the surcharge as a money grab.
Our bartender had the charge removed, no questions asked, but it was too late - the idea of tacking on a few bucks to an already not-cheap night out, just because they thought they could get away with it, left a bad taste in my mouth.
No thanks Wildfire - there's plenty of other places to get a good meal. You (or any other "Lettuce" shops) won't be getting any of my business.
I was in town for a few days and really needed a break from riding in a cold Chicago garage.
These guys set me up with nice road bike rental. Everything was ready to go when o wandered in; they helped with my putting pedals on the bike, went over what was included, and provided great advice on local routes.
I'll be back whenever I'm in town! Thanks!
Yum! Visiting from Chicago and on our way to City Museum, great brunch but long line. Ended up cutting to the front by eating outside. Crepes, eggs, sausage gravy all top-notch!!! Tip: get the NoWait app for your phone to see where you are in line.
Just got back from some down time with the family in LBI, and were lucky enough to find Wally's early on.
We visited almost daily for either breakfast or lunch and would be going back today if I didn't have to drag my butt back to Chicago. Even my (usually picky) kids raved about the French toast!
Fantastic staff, clean and comfy surroundings, and great grub made this our favorite haunt - Go!
Ice cream is good, but only one guy working on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Cheapskates. No wonder they have to sell Goupons to get people in here.
