Process was easy but...I called the call center to reserve the unit and make an appointment to finalize the paperwork. The woman I spoke with was very helpful and made quick work of setting up the reservation. I inquired as to what I needed to bring with me when I signed the paperwork. I was told just my ID and payment. Turns out that I am also required to have insurance, which she neglected to tell me. I was forced to pay for the company's insurance until I can provide a copy of my homeowner's policy declaration page. The guy in the office said that happens a lot. I would have been happy to bring my documents with me. Now it cost me extra money... not sure if the omission was on purpose or not to get a few extra bucks out of me. The place seems clean and well maintained but that experience left a bad taste in my mouth

I will say that the dentists and hygienists at this place are great! My family has been going here for close to 30 years without incident, until today.

My daughter will need to have 2 wisdom teeth extracted and had the initial consultation with a very competent oral surgeon. However, after the consultation, when the proposed charges were discussed we were told by "Maria" (some sort of scheduling clerk) that we MUST pay our ESTIMATED insurance deductible upfront "BEFORE" the work was done. In nearly 30 years of having work performed at this business (including some very expensive crown work), I have NEVER been required to pay my deductible upfront. The process has always been to submit the claim to the insurance company and they would send a bill for the balance. We questioned her as to why the change in process; she was simply insistent that it had to be done this way. No discussion.

With all of the choice available to us in this area, you would expect that customer service would be paramount to Elmhurst Dental Care in order to keep the customer coming back for service but apparently not. I understand that every business needs to be fairly compensated for their work in a timely manner but this was downright rude and we are SERIOUSLY considering changing to a different dental practice.

Please be careful when dealing with "Maria" and know that she is focused solely on one thing...THE MONEY! She gets a zero in my book for customer service and is a detriment to the operation of this practice.

Drove up from Chicago Area for a fun day in Lake Geneva. We had a hour and a half to kill before our lake tour and decided to stop at Scuttlebutts for an early lunch. After finding the front door we were greeted by a high school student with gages in his ears (not an appealing look). We requested a table for 5 and were ushered to a 4 top in direct line of all of the major foot traffic in their "dining room." Cramming 5 people around a small 4 person table in a high traffic area did not make for a relaxing meal. The server took 10 minutes before stopping by to take our drink order and seemed completely disinterested in being there. 15 minutes later and our drinks arrived...10 minutes later and she returned to take our order. 15 minutes later our food arrived. Most of the food looked and tasted good but not everything. Having ordered "The Alamo" sandwich and expecting "pork tenderloin medallions" in their sweet tangy BBQ sauce, I was surprised to find a pulled pork sandwich. When I questioned the server and asked to see a menu to verify that I did not misread the menu, she seemed put off and irritated. I verified that I had ordered correctly and was told that was how "The Alamo" was served. Obviously the menu and the actual products served do NOT match. Watch this one carefully as there is a big cost difference between pork tenderloin medallions and pulled pork. Food was OK, but the service seemed severly lacking. Will not return.
