Probably the best shaved ice that we've gotten on the Hawaiian Islands. It was so good, we had to go back for a 2nd trip before our flight took off. They use fresh local fruit for their syrup and that makes all of the difference! There is no artificial tasting fruit flavor here! We got the white pineapple, lilikoi, and rambutan with coconut ice cream the first time and it was amazing. The staff was also super friendly. Highly recommend.

The Manta Ray Night Sorkel with Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours is awesome! We loved the fact that the boat ride was short (5 minutes) which is completely tolerable for those who are motion-sickness prone AND it was a small group (5 in our group). We definitely felt like we were well-taken care of compared to the larger groups of snorkelers that were also out with us that night. You get fitted in a wetsuit and they let you use your own snorkel if you have one. The board you hang on to is very brightly lit so the manta rays get extremely close to you. It's an amazing experience and we are so glad we did it with Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours. Also, if you call them to book and mention Yelp, there's a $10 discount/person.

We were killing time at Waikoloa Village before our flight and looking for dinner options. With so few reviews this place didn't pop up on our yelp search and with the majority dinner options being fairly expensive, we had resigned ourselves to a overpriced dinner until we stumbled on this place! The food seemed more reasonably priced than other surrounding options. We got salads and they were both excellent. The service was great too. We don't drink but they seemed to have a lot of local beers on tap and with all the big screen TVs, this would be a great place to watch a game. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a reasonably-priced meal in Waikoloa Village.

I got my wedding dress at Nordstrom and I could not be happier with the service (and the price!). We stumbled on a sample sale the day we booked our appointment (Hint: They have great Sample Sale during big department store sales...like After-Thanksgiving, Anniversary...etc). My dress was the 2nd dress I tried on and I canceled all my other appointments since it was exactly at the right price point. My original stylist left but Kimmie became my new stylist for fittings and she was amazing. She was patient, provided excellent advice on how to alter the dress and was fun and so easygoing throughout the entire process. She also helped us carry the final product to the car to show us how to carry it. She left a lovely handwritten note with my dress. On the day of, it fit perfectly!

Also, if you purchase your dress, definitely make sure you have a Nordstrom card. Between the dress and the alterations (and triple point days) we earned up to several hundreds in Nordstrom notes.

Could not be happier with Nordstrom.
