I'm really getting anxious for this location to open closer to my house. My work wife guided me through the ordering process as I hadn't been there before. She lived in Japan for 2 years so I let her order for me. It was delicious!
If you're in a rush, get there by 4. Tiny location but no one does German food better in the area. Well, they're the only one within 100 plus miles.
Expect 45 minutes to an hour wait in Saturday nights. Once you're in, you're in for a treat. Come hungry, leave happy. I had the Rahm schnitzel and my darling had the Jaeger schnitzel. Black Forest cake ended our night and we were very happy.
Delicious, authentic, affordable and friendly. I had wanted to go here since November but, as they're only open for dinner, that's difficult.
I convinced my in-laws to go Friday night and I wasn't disappointed. I had the Lomo saltado, my wife had the linguini verde that came with one of the best steaks she'd ever had.
Don't hesitate. Try it and you'll be back.
Roomy, lovely find after a long ride to the beach. Delicious coffee, friendly staff and a "hey, stay a while" vibe. Screw Starbucks, this is the play, y'all.
Delicious food, friendly staff. A true gem on Boulevard in Colonial Heights. We played it safe on our first visit: arroz con gandules, pernil and maduros. Cuban sandwich and an empanada. We haven't tried our flan de queso yet.
Next time I plan to explore the world of mofongo with some guidance from the Orellanas.
