At Palenque Grill it is hard to get an average plate. Everything I've ordered has been very good including the beans and chips. It is hard to pick a favorite because they all have something special. Their deserts are very good as well such as the churros, flan and tees leches. Only the margaritas have been a bit inconsistent but other than that it is one of my favorite restaurants.

I lived half of my life in Mexico and traveled extensively across the country so I'm very familiar with their cuisine. I'm always on the lookout for Mexican cuisine in San Antonio and I want to share that the food at Fridas is very good. Every dish we asked was just as tasty as the previous. The ambiance is great as well but my only complaint are the tortillas. The tortilla is one of the most important elements of Mexican cuisine and these were way below average. I would have given Fridas a 5 star but given the importance a tortilla plays in this type of cuisine I could only give it a four.

A neighbor recommended P. Terry's Burger and decided to try them without any expectations. I was impressed with the meat patty which is 100% angus free of antibiotics and hormones with great flavor. The ingredients were fresh and tasty as well. And the fries are all natural potatoes without fillers. The burger bread was average but he milkshake is one of the top ones I've ever had. I went 5 days in a row...

By the way, the burgers and all of the menu options are very good and inexpensive. You can't beat better and natural ingredients, great flavors at a lower cost than other well known national chains.

I've tried many al pastor tacos in San Antonio and i have been a bit disappointed until now. La Capital del Sabor brought memories from Mexican taquerias. For the first time the flavor matches and the tacos are well served. Great place, and highly recommended.
