We went last night, not really sure what to expect. Their predecessor was (in our opinion) less than stellar, so we had some trepidation - but man, were we surprised!
My wife had the fried catfish - said they were cooked perfectly, but just a little "fishy tasting". She loved the mashed potatoes and said the blue cheese dressing on her salad was to die for.
I had the chopped steak - it certainly was among the best I've EVER had! VERY flavorful, and it wasn't "hamburgery" like you get so often. The brown gravy w/mushrooms and sauteed onions were a perfect compliment to the steak! Had the mashed potatoes (which were excellent) and creamed corn (also excellent). We WILL be back!

We have our policies via Huddleston Insurance in New Braunfels. Our agent, Kevin Wersterfer, has always been friendly and helpful - and this time was no exception. He got the ball rolling for us, had an adjuster contact us and we were able to get the claim processed in a prompt, fair manner!

Needed to widen our drive by 2.5'. Called Semper Fi, and the owner came out, we discussed what I wanted and he emailed me a quote that evening. After some final discussion to make sure things were clear, we approved the project.
They showed up on the agreed-upon date and prepped the site, digging out excess dirt AND removing it, then laying base and tamping it by machine rather than trying to "stomp it in". They returned two days later (due to rain), set the wire mesh and poured the concrete. Couldn't be more pleased - they cleaned up their work area at the end of EACH day, and when they were done the site looked like it had always been that way.

For the money, a decent enough place to stay. We had no issues.
