Yolos Mexican Grill

The hostess with short hair was absolutely terrible! My husband and I approached the stand and she was on her phone! She did not look up until we said something. There was barely conversation and she was in such a rush to seat us! What happened to good service? Our server was pretty decent. The food was pretty good. I was so shocked at the hostess that I just HAD to review it. Very disappointed.

This place had great drinks! Really good food, amazing nachos!

Service was friendly but not as attentive as we were sitting at the bar and had to wait awhile for another drink. That was the only disappointing thing.

So about 50/50 here! Maybe 55/45?
This Casino Mexican Restaurant at Planet Hollywood is just off the Casino floor and has both Barton and a large open seating area.
The cocktails a serious pours! Sangria is pretty good. Prices are standard LVStrip. Chips were fried in house yet have that been in a warmer drawer too long taste. Salsa was very good and our Server brought me the House Spicy and it was
The Chicken Taquitos were great. Fresh and not over fried, the chicken was moist and flavorful and the sauces were great!
The Pork Belly Tacos were seriously superb! I'm still thinking about how delicious they were! Large hunks of perfectly crisp Pork with just enough Chicharone on them! Adorned with some pickled veggies! Yummy!
The rice and beans were bland! Even after we salt and peppered them at the table-still lacking any real flavor. This is a staple at a Mexican Restaurant and should be much better! Table Side Guacamole is a must have! Fresh and delicious! Would have enjoyed some warm tortillas to have with it.

This was pretty good. I loved the decor here. There were a lot of Day of the Dead skulls all over which were cool and fun to look at. We needed a quick bite before our next show so we came in here. Luckily it wasn't busy so we were able to get our food quickly. We got a drink called Opposite Attract and hubby liked it but it was too much for me so he drank the rest of it. The food was good. The rice was actually really bad but the beans were surprisingly great. The carnitas were normal and good and I really liked the ribs.

The worst service I have ever seen in Las Vegas! Stopped for a drink after shopping & sight seeing. The bartenders were more interested in chatting with each other than the customers. Could not get a second drink nor a bill. The female bartender couldn't be bothered! Won't be back!!

Sorry. I really wanted to like this place. FANTASTIC margaritas and the servers are quite nice...but I got a salad with steak and I could barely chew the steak, it was so bad. The rest of the salad was good, but that kind of ruined it for me. The ambiance was meh.

Best service we have received so far. When we entered we asked for a quieter area, the hostess was very accommodating. Our server, Reagan was great. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. We didn't have to ask twice or wait for anything. The food came out quickly and was great. We started with the table side guacamole and likely I will be back this trip for that alone. Then my wife and I split the shrimp fajitas. Also amazing. They were fair priced tasty food and super chill atmosphere.
My only issue is I have an onion allergy the chef wouldn't accommodate just peppers for my fajitas so it was shrimp on a wrap be Reagan was able to accommodate a few toppings to spice it up.

Yolo's is tucked away in Planet Hollywood. It isn't bad, it isn't amazing either. It is just a middle of the road Mexican place. They have a fancy light up margarita menu which is a nice Vegas touch. I had the street tacos and we also ordered a side of chips and salsa. The portion of the chips and salsa was actually impressive, especially in terms of on the strip, Vegas dining experience.

Standard stip prices on drinks as well. All in all, I wouldn't seek this place out and make it part of my trip, but it is decent if you need something in a hurry.

Went here while in town and I have never been so disappointed in the quality of the food before. I ordered the chicken chimichanga. The rice was hard and tasted like it was from a box, beans were bland and the chimichanga had so much sauce inside you would think they were trying to hide something in there. We also ordered carnitas and that too was overly seasoned with salt. American wanna be Mexican food is all I could describe.
I gave 3 stars because the service was good. It wasn't our waitress fault that the food was subpar.

Loved that this was located in our hotel. Very convenient and added to the variety of food options. Was a nice change up from the other did we'd been eating. The food tasted fresh and came out hot, which is pleasant. The pricing was typical for a restaurant in a hotel or resort. Loved that we were able to get in and seated without a wait on a Monday evening.

They seemed short of staff, though, so our server seemed rushed to try and serve as many tables as he could so that none of us felt we were waiting long. I appreciate that, but it also made his time taking our order and making suggestions short.

Loved the ambiance. Music played the entire time. Not too loud so we could hear each other when talking.

We would definitely eat here again.
