Element Integration

We hired Element Integration to mount some TVs and install additional speakers in our house. They did an awesome job and at a reasonable price. They always made sure we understood what they were going to do and where for any significant matter during the installation process. They also addressed a concern we had about a visible plug. They were thorough and cleaned up throughout. They're also nice guys and easy to talk to. Karl, Jeff and Danny are a great team and went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend them.

I researched this company multiple times over the course of a couple years to handle consultation and installation of a large 4k TV and sound system. I was looking for people with greater experience than Best Buy. Mark got back to me very quickly and we arranged to have Karl visit us for a consultation. Karl listened to all the details of what I wanted in my setup, offering plenty of feedback on what I might expect and need. (He also took a look at my network closet, but I chose not to do anything with it.) By the end, we had probably spent an hour or more together and I got an excellent plan that we decided to go with.

When my TV came in, Karl offered to come over ASAP to do the work. He showed up right on time, bringing Jeff along to do the job. They created an entirely clean setup for me, with wires running through the wall, and were able to install electricity and relocate networking cables to accommodate the mounting location. They walked me through the physical setup and the TV settings I would need to consider. During the review of the TV, *they* found a flaw in the screen and immediately let me know that they would handle getting a replacement and be back as soon as it came in. They just completed that work for me today and we went through the same review.

Karl and Jeff were both great guys. (We talked horror movies and the quality of blacks in the new tech.) And something more I appreciated: they wore masks while in the house, removed their shoes when they came in, and left my house clean.

I will be calling these guys again when I need something done. I trust what they tell me and they deliver on what they say.

Karl and Jeff did an incredible job cabling CAT 6 for my home as well as installation of an enclosure. The job was harder than most since my house is already built and is a slab foundation. They were still able to run the cable exactly where I needed it without damage to the house. They were patient and thorough in their work. They came very close to the original estimate and just under it.

I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely be reaching out to them again for future work.

As soon as I talked to Pedro on the phone I knew this company would be good. As I described the work I wanted done, Pedro's responses told me he could "see" the work in his mind's eye. That gave me a feeling of confidence in this company. They arrived on the dot, performed the installation quickly, cleaned up and tested the Ethernet system. This is normally what customers pay for and expect, but rarely get. As they worked, they told me what they found and how they would solve it. They were competent and knowledgeable, which also increased my confidence and trust in the work being done and that is why I will use Element Integration again when I finally get to build my own house. I am comfortable with their work and happy to pay for work that I trust. Use them for any work you may have, you will sleep easy.

Our home was custom built and our builder used the main, most established, premier A/V company in the area (at the time!) but they are now way past their prime! I had a 10 year old whole house system (audio, visual, security and cameras, intercom with doorbell, lighting and internet) I'm not exactly sure what happened with that company over the years...the service got increasingly worse (they did not fix issues and most of the time just caused other problems), the turnover of technicians was high because I started to see a different one every time they sent somebody. We were not only unhappy with the service but we had an outdated system. Their update solution was sooo expensive and still not ideal!

I started the search for another company. I was going to get several estimates but I immediately stopped my search after the first meeting with Element Integrations. The first guys I met used to work for the company that we were leaving. I knew these guys-they were installers/technicians when my house was built 10 years ago. It was like a reunion-I was so happy to see the guys that were around when I was happy. I felt confident these guys knew what they doing (many years of experience) and that they would take care of us and our system. I knew all those nice, knowledgeable, service-oriented guys who left the previous company went somewhere! The best guys who left there are here at EI!

EI upgraded my system, fixed the bugs and cleaned up some messes left by the other company! Everything works, consistently and is easy to use! They are there if I need them, even if I just have a question, and they get to me quickly if I need service (which hasn't been often!)

If you are looking for a company for integrated audio/video and technology just start here and save yourself some time, money and aggravation!!

My wife was in her car, waiting for a red light to turn green, when she saw an Element Integration vehicle. My wife is a marketing consultant, and was impressed by the image that the vehicle conveyed, including the logo. Therefore, she recorded the company name and phone number. For three weeks, she kept asking me to call Element Integration for a home-networking job that we needed to get done in our new house. I kept resisting, because I did not want to do business with a company that I knew nothing about. However, my wife persisted. Finally, I checked the Yelp ratings, and was impressed enough to make an exploratory call and leave a message. What followed as an A+ experience from beginning to end! Specifically:

Five minutes after I had left the message, Jeff Jerina called back, and actually apologized for not immediately having picking up my call. I explained my needs and, at Jeff's request, texted him a picture of the existing set-up. A formal estimate was emailed to me within a few hours, which I immediately accepted when I saw that the price was perfectly reasonable. Then, because an existing customer had to reschedule a job, Jeff and Pedro performed the work the very next morning. They were in and out within two hours, including totally cleaning up after themselves. And, the final price was identical to the estimate. My wife and I are now loyal customers who will use Element Integration for all of our home technology needs.

Recently, I moved into a new home and I needed someone to put the tv on the wall above the fireplace. I was looking through yelp and I found element integration. There were two people who came and put the tv up and they were extremely helpful because they show how to work the tv. They recommended us to keep the tv box too just in case anything may happen. I highly recommend them!

Our house presented several challenges to running ethernet throughout, which required going to 3 floors, as well as cables in the garage, over ceilings, through the attic, and in the furnace room out back (don't ask, it's complicated!). The job required creativity as well as experience and work. These guys did a great job, from envisioning and planning a way to do it, through brining the right team to work together and get it done efficiently.

Now we are making the most of our fiber internet, and have zero bandwidth or speed issues even in the time of Covid, everyone working or studying at home with multiple Zoom meetings at once -- ethernet rules. Highly recommended.

Without a doubt, this company is top-notch. They are deep into knowledge about home theater. More importantly, they are very nice people who treat you and your house with respect.

Almost a year ago, I started a conversation long distance from NY with Karl about the new home my wife and I were having built in Raleigh. I found Element Integration from the 5 star reviews in both Google and Yelp.

Karl started delivering on those 5 stars through a number of no-pressure consultations prior to the actual work. We talked over the phone and exchanged quite a few emails before our move from NY to Raleigh. Karl even spoke with our builder to clarify information needed for the installation plans.

The day of the installation Karl, Jeff and Pedro arrived in 2 vehicles (including one large van) branded with Element Integration logos, clean as a whistle, and chock full of state-of-the-art tools and equipment. They took off their shoes, laid blankets in the house and proceeded to install (wall mount) three TVs (including 2 large new Sony TVs), and 2 soundbars with subwoofers (Sonos). Since I am a cord-cutter, I had them install an outdoor digital antenna which connected to my Amazon TV Recast. (Note: They are dealers for Sony, Sonos and other name brand home entertainment equipment. Their pricing is very competitive.)

As per our discussions (and I'm sure they do this anyway), no wires were left showing, with 3 HDMI connections above the floor moulding by one of Sony's - to be hidden by a low-lying entertainment unit I have yet to buy - and one inside a bookcase next to my fireplace. They helped get my 3 Amazon Firesticks, 2 Apple TVs, and 2 blu-ray players up-and-running as well.

We were impressed that, unlike many installers, they were very careful to get the TVs at the right viewing height. My wife and I weren't interested in having our TV mounted high above the fireplace where a painting might go, but lower to the mantel to save our necks from strain. They understood this and made sure we were comfortable watching the TV. For the bedroom wall TV, they explained the correct height would be between 6 and 7 feet so that it would be easily viewable over a footboard and blankets while lying in bed. And for our loft entertainment area, they mounted the TV lower on the wall than one would expect, explaining that when sitting, the middle third of the TV should be at eye level.

Based upon the 5 star reviews we had seen, I must say they met our expectations and then some. Bonus: It's so great to get a professional job from a team of people you find out you really like as individuals, too.

Solid work. I had all my own equipment, they came in and set up my theater room. Very professional and made great suggestions on equipment placement. Definitely recommend!
