I called in and requested an original bouquet of flowers for my mother's birthday. Brittany was lovely on the phone, helping me decide what to include.

They called my mother in advance to arrange a delivery time she'd be home, which worked out perfectly.

Most importantly, my mother was absolutely delighted with the gorgeous flowers. And I was delighted with the experience.

I ordered flowers from a major flower website *cough* Pro Flowers *cough* to be delivered to a family member who was in the hospital. I ordered them on a Sunday and paid extra to have them delivered the next day.

Unfortunately, they were never delivered so I got a refund.

Your Personal Florist to the rescue! I grew up in Troy but I live on the West Coast now. I called YPF this morning and told them what happened. They said delivering the flowers that day would be no problem, asked me my price point, and asked what kind of flowers I wanted. I simply said "purple" because that is my family member's favorite color.

Just three hours - THREE HOURS - later, my flowers were delivered. Now, I was a little nervous since I did not get to pick them out for myself. I was nervous for no reason, though; the arrangement was perfect! I liked it better than the one I picked out online and it was cheaper.

On top of that, the customer service I received was fantastic. Thanks to YPF, I now know to order flowers locally and have them delivered versus having the big boys do it (and screw it up).

I wish I could give them a great review. They're good with balloons, meh with flowers. Cute gifts inside the shop, and usually some kittens running around.

I love this place. I stopped in at the last minuteone day - literally 5 minutes before closing - they had almost sold out of flowers but were able to whip up a beautiful bouquet for me. They are friendly and there is a great cat walking around as if it owns the place!
