This food in incredible!! This is my go-to place when I go to Clemson, at times making the hour drive just to eat here. The owner is very intense and makes sure everything is just right, and I can tell he pours himself in the preparation of each item. The meal is in very hot bowls, and although it is all in one bowl, each item has an individual flavor. I love the kimchi and it tastes like it is made in house. I know the kombucha is made here and it is the best I've had.

This is one of those places I'll never know the full menu because that one thing is so good. Owners are a delight to speak to when they aren't busy. Only lament is the slightly complicated ordering process if you're not familiar with the cuisine.
I'm making a note so I remember each time I go:
Beef Bulgogi
Brown rice
over easy egg
spinach
Caramelized onions
Mushrooms
And a Coke.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 28, 2020
We were looking for Korean Food and came across this restaurant in yelp. This is not true Korean Food. It's their Inspiration from Asian Food. So we were disappointed. The food was good but not Korean food. Better to try this place without expectation of being Korean.
You order on a single tablet that is located inside of the store. Being new to the place, it took the four of us a bit to decide what to order. It was hard for all of us to look at the small table at the same time. (See photo) So pretty much we had to look through individually and place our order one at a time. They have a small self serve drink station as well.
The presentation of the food was quite nice but for the $10-12 charge per bowl, the bowls were small in size. We didn't even have leftovers which is highly unusual for us. The bowls did not have very much rice in them. The Bi Bim Bob was extremely salty.
Doubtful that I would return to this place UNLESS someone offered to buy me lunch and this is the place they picked.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - TC A.Sachse, TX246200702Feb 16, 2020
Totally our kind of place. Small "hole in the wall" type place that serves great food.
We walked in right at opening and were greeted right away and given the option to read the board or use the tablets to review the menu. We had a lot of questions and they were gracious enough to take the time to answer and provide recommendations.
The food came out hot and fresh and was amazingly tasty. I recommend any dish that has the spicy pork.
We are only in the area once a year for a track meet so best believe next year we will be back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Pao H.North Augusta, SC8818985Nov 17, 2020
Clever new ordering system. Not too busy but could be a pain if it was too busy. Very nice staff helped these dinosaurs work it. Had two bowls and spicy dumplings plus tips for $25. Skip the appetizer, bowls are plenty and can be customized too. What a great little gem!.

Observations:
Located in a strip mall
Moderate parking availability
Open for lunch & dinner
Average sized menu
Menu somewhat difficult to decipher
Ordering process is VERY confusing at first
Wait staff almost non-existent and unfriendly
Small cramped seating area
Dark dining area
Tables, chairs, counters are all well worn and unkept
Dirty tables, walls, and throughout
After looking around at the lack of cleaning and against my gut instincts I tried this place anyway. Located in a strip mall on "the fast-food strip" near Clemson University, Yolk is yet another location I will not be visiting again. I ordered the BiBim Bob. The only thing edible was the egg, everything else including the rice was mushy, bland and some ingredient items indecipherable (and I love Asian cuisine). My stomach didn't feel well 30 minutes after eating either. Maybe this is great cheap college student food but I was unimpressed to say the least.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Wesley L.Pomona, MO704Sep 14, 2020
Excellent Bi Bim Bop and everything is gluten free except the dumplings! Found this gem when the restaurant a friend recommended was closed. It doesn't look like much, in the middle of a strip center, but this is a perfect example of looks being deceiving. The staff was very friendly, the food came out quickly and was excellent. The only thing that could have been improved was that the rice in the bottom of the bowl didn't crisp up, although I may have just stirred it to quickly. The flavors were delicious. We will definitely come back when we are in this area!

Love it love it and love it. I would order the tacos again. But you need to get them order only onsite. I can see them taste long as good on a takeout. I writing this review on two days of memory and I can tell you them taco are magical. I didn't see a Korean person on site but they know about fusion cooking. Great price and the ordering system is touch screen self service. Loved it. I could personalize my meal just the way I like it. Kudos

I love this place. Great value and great food. Just read the menu before going because it can be intimidating.
Also be prepared to find the kiosks of iPads in the middle of the room to order. Due to minimal staff, nobody really has time to talk or show you anything.
Other than that, it's no surprise this is always hovering around #1 on yelp!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
