Ordered the Seoul. Loved it! The staff was so friendly and professional.

I want to address this racism non sense. It's absurd.
It's crazy how we just start pointing fingers and are so thin skinned. Everything and everybody is racist now days it's crazy! It's actually quite funny. I don't consider this place racist at all.

Your restaurant rocks and food is amazing yummmm.

    CASHLESS RESTURANT!!!!!
    CARD only!
(Had to take a star put for thar, they need a bigger sign somewhere other than a paper by the register, maybe by the door before you walk in. )

They were nice enough to explain the food, fyi the Triptych Rice is a mixture of white, brown, and sticky rice.

This is the closest place for my new healthy lifestyle diet.  Of course I have to be picky with my choice of base & flavor & sauce. But its pretty delicious.

For my first visit, I ordered the following:
    Step 1: Field Greens
Step 2: Tokyo (which was grilled chicken breast, but i replace the mushrooms with kale)
Step 3: I didn't order any additions, so my meal was very simple.

    My friend ordered:
    Step 1: rice
Step 2: Shanghai (which is pork belly & etc)
Step 3, not sure if she ordered any add ins.
*according to her, this hit the spot ! & the pork belly smell freaking amazing to me! I can only image how it tasted!

I wish they had different choices for the base of rice, like jasmine, quinoa, or brown rice. But i think they only serve white.

The great side is that all their sauces are dairy free ! & they have vegan options! (Which I will come back to try! )

Overall it was great! A bit pricey. Like $10 per bowl. But gets you full.

While I really like the vibe of the place and the general idea, the food just really fell flat.
Loved the service, very friendly helpful, food ready quickly and presented nicely.
Now if only it had some flavor.
The chicken bowl was so bland, canned mushrooms, everything so pale and undercooked.
The steak not much better, rice and greens were fine, the sauces didn't help much either.
I did enjoy the parmesan fries and the ugly egg rolls and would order both of those again.
Shame with their main items, also way too expensive for the quality served at around $12 per bowl.
    Ok, but not worth returning.

Not any better than Flame Broiler in term of taste and freshness. Maybe a little bit healthier and more varieties but way more expensive for what it is.

    The failure:

#2 Tokyo bowl $10.71, grilled chicken breast, sautéed mushroom and onion with ginger and egg flower sauce.
    W/Half rice and half salad.

Chicken was super dry and bland, it's pre made and just heat up or sit there all day. Onion and mushroom were cooked right. Salad was fresh. Egg flower sauce was ok but salty if you dumped the whole thing into the bowl (it's mainly soy sauce base). I skipped most of it.

    Ugly egg roll (4pc) $5.12
The worst egg roll I ever had, it's overcooked, greasy without enough crunchiness and overall bland! The dipping sauce did not help much.

For total $17.33, I could had gone to Urban Plate for better quality and fresh food.

My biggest complaint is "freshness" that they are absolutely lacking. Even the rice tasted like made in the morning and kept warm for hours...

Those are very basic ingredients, as long as cooked right, freshly made and lightly seasoned. Its really not that difficult to make a tasty bowl.

I went during dinner hours when it's completely empty, maybe lunch is better. I would never know...

New location here in LBX across the Boeing building, cross street Carson St and Lakewood Blvd.. This will be a new favorite... clean eat with no guilt..
My choice is the Bangkok toppings with coconut white  curry... This is a cashless eating place so its very convenient to wave just your phone with Apple pay..

Great dishes. Anything with an egg on here is amazing. Yet to be disappointed here. Can get pretty full spending $10. Beautiful presentation for the food. The name also cracks me up.

The restaurant itself has a fast-food vibe, good for lunch. Not sure I would recommend it for date. There isn't much within walking distance, so not really a place to go on a romantic stroll after.

A few parking spots in front, never had a problem parking. Most likely wheelchair accessible.

Tried it for the first time and my husband and I thought it was okay. I ordered the Saigon bowl and there wasn't much flavoring and the meat was dried and not much flavor. It was somewhat overpriced for okay food. The fries we did enjoyed.

Long overdue review of yellow fever as I was craving some tasty Asian food with good drinks and they did not disappoint the lemonade and half and we're pretty good. I had a chicken bowl with all sorts of spices and enjoyed every bite. The only thing it lacked was flavor the chicken was on the dry side but overall good menu selection and drinks. A little more expensive then other restaurants in the area but It's a cute restaurant with nice fun decor.

I've been so eager to try this place and it was so worth the wait!  Just delicious! I can't wait to try each bowl!

This place offers many combinations of flavors in a variety of Asian styles. I went for the Seoul Bowl with tender filet mignon, Asian slaw, mushrooms, kale and  fried egg in top.  The server said they serve a pretty dish and it's up to me to make it ugly (mixed all together). I went with an ugly egg roll mixed in and avocado.

I also went for the matcha green ice tea but got a sample of tea / lemonade drink. Perfectly sweet (but not overpoweringly sweet) mixture with the tea.  To splurge, I got the delicious Parmesan furikake fries which were an amazing flavor and again subtle but significant.

I can wait to return with my kids!

There is something beautiful about having your food served in a bowl. It's affordable, delicious, and stacked with flavor. My friend and I paid this place a visit because of the name and the pictures seemed promising, and wow. I'm grateful to have found this little gem in the South Bay.

    ***FOOD
    1) Seoul + rice - this dish's main protein was the flat ironed steak and a perfectly fried easy egg. The egg was literally cooked to perfection where it was runny enough to be popped and mixed into the bowl so the yolk perfectly coats the rest of the dish's components creating a harmonious flavor profile. The dish was so flavorful especially with the mushrooms.

    2) Shanghai + rice - I picked this one for the braised pork belly and onions and it was packed with flavor. The fresh bok choy balances the pork's heaviness perfectly, as well as the asian slaw.

    3) Furikake fries - we got these to share and they were incredibly addicting. This is like next level garlic Parmesan fries, but the asian version with seaweed. I couldn't stop eating these because the saltiness was to die for.

    ***OTHER
I can't give this place a high enough praise. The portions are also large so you're definitely getting what you paid for. It's extremely delicious and suits both lunch and dinner.

When you get your bowl, make sure to mix it all together so each bite contains all the different parts of the dish!

Went to LAX to pick up a friend and on the way home we both got hungry, looked into food options and I had this place bookmarked and decided to give it a try.

Place is chil and has a catchy business name that got my attention.

Food - Food here is really fresh and flavorful.

Price - Normal prices but small on the portions , especially the kid size portions are a joke in my opinion.  Also they dont take cash and that can be a inconvenience to people that dont like to use cards.

Venue - Very clean and bright.

Service - Staff here is nice and helpful.

This review is from one week ago.  I ordered "Seoul".  I felt flavor was very blend and not at all authentic.  Best part about this place is that there are plenty of parking.  Pretty expensive for small portions.

Delicious vegan bowl, and it had wonderful not overcooked noodles (other selections available), lots of shredded carrots, kale, well-spiced tofu, peanuts, sauce..

I took away one star for the lack of selections although what I had was great.

I would probably order this again.

When I first heard the name of this restaurant, it was weird but I figure I give it a try.

It's a great concept very similar to chipotle. You basically build your Asian food bowl with rice,  thin rice noodles, or salad. You can choose between beef, chicken, or tofu and each pre made Bowl comes with meats, kale, mushroom slices, Korean sauce, and a fried egg. I ordered the Seoul bowl with rice, very similar to bim bim bap but without crispy rice. You get the bowl, mix all the flavors, and let that egg yolk add richness. Great flavors, great bowl and decent for under $11.

I also ordered the parmesan fries, they are thick cut and sprinkled with furkiki. They come with a spicy Japanese-Ish style sauce. Great fries for under $6.

I left full and happy, must try. I love the kale matched with the beef and egg. Slightly pricey food but the location also makes a difference too.

I've been to Yellow Fever here in Torrance many times since it first opened years ago and it is always my go-to meal to take to the Hollywood Bowl.

The concept is simple. You choose a base of either rice, rice noodles, field greens, or half and half of two different bases. Then you choose your "flavor" which are Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, you get the picture. My favorites are the Seoul and the Californian. The steak in the Seoul bowl is extremely tender and flavorful. I really enjoy the Californian when I am feeling more vegetarian. The Californian consists of baked organic tofu sausage, mushrooms, kale, avocado, and a delicious vegan house dressing. I usually have the Californian over the greens but this time I chose the rice noodles and it was really delicious. I especially enjoy the fact that near the end you are left with tons of tofu, mushrooms, and kale instead of overloading with rice noodles. I've enjoyed the ugly egg rolls in the past as well but do get a bit soggy if you don't eat it at the restaurant.

Their drinks are also delicious. The lychee lemonade is really refreshing.

I will continue coming here and being able to order online is a bonus.

Yellow Fever is one of my families favorite places to eat, we get it nearly every weekend. The staff is amazingly friendly and really do everything they can to make sure you get what you need and understand what you are ordering. The owner personally knows my sister now and makes the place feel like a community experience. I love the Californian, the flavors are amazing!

This is my boyfriend and I's go-to lunch spot when we want something quick but delicious! We've gone here more times than we can count and love it every time. Though they've raised their prices within the years, it's still just as satisfying. Parking can be difficult but we always seem to get lucky.

I've tried ALL the bowls and my favorite would be Saigon. I get everything on it. My boyfriend doesn't prefer the veggies so he's able to customize and add a fried egg on top too. We always share the parm fries which comes with an amazing sauce. I get a Bruce Lee sometimes (half lemonade, half green tea) when I'm good on money, cause it's so good but also $3.50 lol.

Overall, try this place and it WILL become your regular!
