I love these apartments so much. Great location and nice finishes. And the view from a lot of the units is absolutely stunning.
The staff is very friendly and the maintenance team is always quick to fix anything to comes up.

The only minor complaints I have are people constantly leave trash in the hallways on days the valet trash service isn't picking up and lots of people walk around with dogs off leash.

      Skyline view after a storm.

Friendly staff, great location! I was away for a weekend and one of the staff went and checked on my cat for me (per my request) caring and thoughtful- very safe and quiet neighborhood with access to the fun of Noda

I have lived at Yards for almost 4 years, through the pandemic and all. I can never say enough great things about this place and am sad I will be moving out due to my first ever home purchase! The staff goes above and beyond for all residents, they open the pool before anyone else in the area does while also keeping it clean throughout the year. They have done a ton of upgrades recently, new glass top ovens, fancy blinds, brand new dishwashers while also working to improve the exterior! We have multiple resident events every month that include your pets with BarkBox giveaways! Truly the best place I have ever lived and I will miss my apartment, the residents, and the staff come July when it's time for me to move into my house. Don't miss out on this gem of Noda, it's worth every penny and feels like a big family.

So one day I'm touring various properties in Plaza and NoDa neighborhoods and nothing is sticking out to me. I see some folks moving out of a residence and ask how they liked it. They exuberantly exclaimed they were moving to Yards at NoDa apartments. They had not much to say about where they were leaving. That seemed like a good sign to go check out Yards.

I walk in and can immediately sense this place has their stuff together. How? The manager, Caleb, asks me smart sequences of questions and tells me the information I want before I'm even sitting down. He was highly engaging. Even though he had back to back tours, he use the 8 minutes he had in between to educate me about the area and talk about the community. There were no available tours remaining that day but he was going next level on helping me. That is not common. So I simply leased the property online while other people were touring it. Without seeing it. Why? I could tell these people care.

Living here for over a year hasn't been without incident. Sometimes I have had to put tickets in and follow up on them. But every time someone from the office has listened, communicated the steps they are taking along with the anticipated timeline. Again - they care. And they act.

The community is amazing. Every time I walk in the commons area people yell hi! The grounds are always kept clean. There is a giant grass area to walk around and clear your head. The coffee machine is always stocked. The dog treats never run out until Sunday - but who can complain about that other than my dog?

You can always walk in the office and voice your concerns. It doesn't mean everything will work out your way but you will get fair outcomes and a listening ear. And just because I only talk about Caleb here don't think the other staff aren't amazing. One was there for 6 months but went on to do some great things in another community. And Emily - she watched my dog somedays when I had to be at work a little late. Who does that? She was also amazing.

To be real - if you want the newest building and the most hype - Yards isn't it. But that stuff fades. If you want the most genuine people on earth who consistently deliver a reliably comfortable living situation with a caring community than this is your spot.

The Yards is a great location for everything to do in Noda and a short trip on the train to uptown. The staff was always super helpful and friendly, if I didn't have to move this would definitely be where I would stay in Charlotte.

My girlfriend and I have been living at Yards since September of 2017 and we really couldn't be happier with how things have gone so far.

The apartments are super nice, we have had zero problems with neighbors, zero problems with maintenance requests, zero problems with package pickups. It's just been great. The staff there - Kali, Matt, and Jenn, have always been extremely helpful and cordial when we come in to bother them for a package or a question.

The staff does a great job of organizing events for the tenants. So far we've had a MNF watch party with food and booze, a meetup at a local restaurant, a trivia night sponsored by a local brewery, and a few others! Apartment events are definitely not something I had listed as important when moving in, but we have really enjoyed going to these, meeting some of the tenants, and hanging with the staff.

We haven't had a chance to use the pool area since we came in late last year, but it looks great and is even getting renovations before the summer.

The internet/cable - You do have to have Time Warner (we used to have Fios), but it's not that bad! Got all the channels, all the speed we need. No problems here either!

The train tracks on either side of the apartment complex are NOT a big deal. Sure, trains come by a couple times a day or couple of days, but its train, not a bomb. It's there and gone in 5 minutes. MINOR inconvenience if you get stuck in or out of the apartment when leaving or entering.

      Other positives:
      -Valet Trash is super simple
      -Giant parking lot
-Light rail completion in early 2018
      -Free coffee in the clubhouse
      -Very nice clubhouse and gym
      -Super dog friendly

There's dogs everywhere and naturally a good amount of spots to take your dog out and walk it around. If there is anything that could use improvement, I'd say it's the dog park. I've been to the dog parks in a few other apartments and they are insanely nice. Obviously this is more of a first world problem, so it's not that big of a deal.

Overall, we love it here! 5/5, 10/10 would rent again from Yards.

I enjoy living at Yards so much that when I decided I needed more space, I moved into another unit, a 2 bedroom, in the same building. I've been at Yards since June 2018 and don't have plans to leave anytime soon. Maintenance is great, though I don't need them a lot because everything is great quality. The location is great as it is tucked away in Noda but still a 2 minute walk to the Main Street. Wifi and cable are included in rent so it's an extra bill I don't have to worry about which I really appreciate. Trash valet is prompt so I never have to worry about taking my trash to the dump. The one con there might be that the recycling/trash dump is very far away from the buildings. One thing I also noticed moving into the 2 bedroom is that the washer/dryer are stacked, while in my 1 bedroom it had the full machines.

I moved out of Yards this October only because I finally purchased my own home! I lived at Yards since July of 2016 so I don't think I need to tell you that I enjoyed living here. Instead I will tell you what I loved about living here: the staff is fantastic. Truly some of the kindest people I've met, dog-friendly community, great clubhouse with free coffee (enough said), fun community events, convenient access to gym, restaurants, bars right in the neighborhood and light rail access to uptown, clean and fun pool, great apartment spaces (I lived in one of the studios) to name a few. While I love my new place, I do miss the people and community at Yards and highly recommend it if you're looking for a place.

Yards at Noda was one of our first choices when moving to Charlotte and has exceeded our expectations over the past 2 years. The newer leasing management is informative, flexible, and not pushy like a lot of others in the area. The apartment community has the benefit of being in the heart of Noda and literally minutes away from the light rail to commute downtown or to South End. The maintenance team is quick to respond should anything come up. Some of the amenities are not necessarily as up to par with other newer communities (fitness equipment is older, dog park has mulch instead of turf, etc) but the staff has taken the feedback well and looking to further improve in the future. (Keep in mind you get what you pay for- rent rates here tend to more competitive than newer communities).

My boyfriend and I started living here April of 2019 and have loved living here - so much so that we renewed our lease for another year! You can't beat the price for the location, sq footage and many amenities. We love the huge walk-in closets for storage, the pool and the helpful staff members.
