I really enjoyed working with Andrew and his team. They were prompt in giving a quote, and responsive all the way through. They spent the most time with me on the consultation out of everyone we got quotes from, and they were by far the most cost-effective due to their smaller operation. Despite this they did an excellent job and installed the AC in a day, as well as upgrading our ducts and vents in the house.

Andrew and Ryan are great and I would recommend them for all of your AC needs.

I haven't used Wrights Heating and Air but my unique encounter with Andrew today on a job he was on warrants this 5 star review. I had just moved into a house in a nice neighborhood in North Park and was walking my dog when a tiny dog comes sprinting out of a house and lunges at my dog (my dog is a golden retriever). I try to shoo it away but it's quickly followed by another larger dog. And that dog is followed by 4-5 other large dogs. They all start attacking my dog. Happened in a matter of 5 seconds. I immediately try pulling my dog away and they're all snapping at him. I grab him and try to lift him up - I'm a decently strong guy and he's about 75 pounds - but the dogs are jumping up and biting his legs and pulling him back down. My heart broke as I heard my dog screaming in fear and pain. I've got nowhere to go and am yelling for help.

This is where Andrew comes in. He's on a job at the house next to where these dogs run out of and he grabs tools from his truck and runs after these dogs. He immediately jumped into action, even though neither of us had any sort of warning that these dogs would sprint out of this house (assuming the door was left open), and is yelling at the top of his lungs and running straight into these dogs. The irresponsible people owning / watching these dogs finally come out and are screaming at the dogs to get inside, which of course doesn't work. I get my dog lifted up onto Andrew's truck to get him away from the dogs, and finally the owners/watchers get the dogs rounded up and back inside.

I'm frantically checking over my dog to see how bad he's hurt while kicking the last dog away as it continues to try to attack my dog. Meanwhile, the people in charge of the dogs are yelling back at Andrew as he's telling them they better get their dogs controlled, as if he's doing something wrong by intervening. Andrew is having none of it and calls the police and animal control immediately. I encourage him to do this as I'm still trying to make sure my dog is not seriously hurt. There's like 5-6 people who come out, all claiming they don't own the dogs. One of them has the gall to come over and make a smart comment about how my dog was happier being up on the truck. I have none of it, and then she says "he's not helping the situation", referring to Andrew. I snapped back at her saying "he's the ONLY one helping the situation. He just saved me and my dog."

The people watching these dogs, whether they were the owners or not, were absolutely despicable. They all claimed they weren't the owners of the dogs, even though they came out of the house the dogs came out of, and then put the dogs back in that house and went into the house with the dogs. I don't know how this would have played out had Andrew not seen what was happening and had no hesitation about jumping in, but it definitely would have been a lot worse than it was. My dog, Serj, seems to have escaped it without the dogs puncturing him - he has a lot of hair, so you can't be immediately certain, but no puncture marks that I can find. And I walked away with just scratch marks from the dogs jumping on me to try to grab Serj as I was picking him up. But that's only because of Andrew. Had he not done what he did, my dog might be dead and I might be in the emergency room (or worse). Serj and I owe him tremendously

Highly recommend Andrew and team. Came over to provide an estimate, noticed a problem that we were unaware of that could lead to the ceiling getting wet and caving in. Came back and fixed and replaced 30 year old ac unit. A few days later I kept hearing a rattling noise on the furnace and even though they didn't do any work to the furnace he still came back and checked it out. Just a loose screw but he fixed it for us. Completed amount was exactly as quoted. Highly recommend!

Update- 6/2019
I ended up needing a new A/C unit and Andrew installed it today. I couldn't be happier, he and the people working with him were so efficient and accommodating, not to mention very reasonable for such a big expense.

Very nice people to work with. Local business owner which is always nice. Andrew goes out of his way to work around someone's schedule, offering to do repairs and estimates after regular working hours.

In 2013, my next door neighbor had Wrights Heating and Air install central A/C in his 1978 house. He highly recommended Wrights Heating and Air. So I called to get central air for my house, which only had a 1970s heater. The heater was so bad, my bathroom got most of the heat.

Long story short, Andy and his skilled crew did a fantastic job. All the ducting, vents, and old heater was removed. A new A/C, heater, duct work and vents were installed. I won't have to suffer another summer without A/C.

Andy and his crew also installed a new gas line to my kitchen so I could cook with gas. They installed my new gas range, and hauled away the old electric range.

I strongly recommend Wrights Heating & Air.

Andrew and his team treated my house like it was theirs. They completed the work exactly as described and at a very reasonable price. Finding a trustworthy person to come work on your home is not easy, I'm glad that I know exactly who I am going to call for any ac/heating needs.

Andrew and his team were fantastic.
I originally had him come out to my home (which he did free of charge) to give me a quote on replacing our dead baseboard heater. After a conversation about the merits of replacing vs. trying something else he obliged me with a couple quotes for installing some ductless split (heat/ac) units - which we decided to go with.
Installation was super easy (a couple days - one long, one short). Andrew and his team were extremely conscientious of my property and walked me through everything as they were installing (and when they finished up). The workmanship is fantastic and the pricing is honest. Highest recommendation.
