Great customer service on the front end. Michelle was super friendly and even offered me $30 off my one-time cleaning. I was stoked. Then...
The cleaners showed up ~ 25 mins early for my 9 a.m. appt. I had scheduled a 9:15 a.m. appt with the dog groomer so my dog wouldn't be home so I had to spend an extra 25 mins. out of work until his appt. Not a huge deal.
Since I wasn't going to be home at the completion of the cleaning, I left them a tip figuring they would deserve it. Mistake.
I drove by my house on the way to pick-up my dog at 10:30 and the cleaners were already gone. Thought they must be amazing to get an, albeit small, house cleaned in 2 hrs. Well, they weren't and the house wasn't clean. Please refer to pics. The floors were dirty (including footprints from one of the cleaners), hardly any of the surfaces were dusted (and some were actually dirtier than when I left),they were leaves on the floor...I could go on but you get the gist.
I called Michelle and she said she'd send someone out right away. I emailed her the pics so she could see I wasn't exaggerating. 3 hrs. later, I hadn't heard anything so I called her back. She said she had a cleaner spend another hour there.
When I returned home, the house was indeed cleaner. Surfaces were dusted, floor spots removed (though there was still dirt behind the sink and toilet in the bathroom), counters wiped, etc. You could tell the cleaner was rushed because items were pushed around/knocked over.
While I appreciate Michelle taking the time to send someone to re-clean the house, I hired them as a convenience to myself and it ended up being anything but that. I spent over an hour of time outside of work and I feel cheated by the cleaners who thought the condition they left my house in was acceptable. I had been thinking about getting a maid or a house cleaner for my mom who is a widow and lives alone. I went in and spoke to the ladies at WOW in Sparks and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I told them what my concerns were and they addressed all of them with genuine answers and not "fluff". It has now been two months since I signed up my moms apartment with them. My mom was nervous at first having strangers in her house but the emotes that came were very friendly and understanding. The second month (Second service) one lady showed up I stead of 2 like the first time and the lady was so nice to my mom. My mom felt very comfortable with her. Based on the quality of work as well as the friendliness of each and e ery staff member I have come into contact with as well as the peace of mind I have knowing my mom isn't going to fall while trying to clean her shower are just some of the reasons I would recommend WOW Cleaning to anyone looking for a cleaning service.

Today I was walking at sparks marina around 9:30am. My friend and I walked to the bathroom and this cleaning company pulled up in a blue Toyota Rav 4 with the name of the cleaning company on the side. The woman saw we were walking to the bathroom, so she jumped out of her car and ran in front of us to the women's bathroom, almost hitting us as she cut us off. She banged on the door and said "cleaning" like we weren't standing behind her. She looked right at us, with a cigarette in her mouth, and laughed. I almost just walked in anyway, but I was having a nice morning and wasn't in the mood to fight with some bully. She then stubbed her cigarette out on the building. She could have totally cleaned the men's bathroom first, but she meant to be disrespectful. City of Sparks really should contract with someone who actually cleans the bathrooms (they do a horrible cleaning job which makes sense now seeing who cleans it) and doesn't bully their citizens just trying to use the bathroom. I will be contacting the city regarding this incident and suggest that they don't renew with such an unprofessional company that reflects poorly on the city. I will also be letting my friends know what happened, so they know to never use this company for their businesses since this is the type of people that they hire.

This cleaning company doesn't even deserve a one star. They came to clean my house and I noticed a big stain on my carpet and they said it was water. The next day it was not water and I had to hire a carpet cleaner and he said It was not water, he doesnt know what it is and its been very hard to get out. I called wow cleaners and they denied it was them who did it. And now they won't call me back. What a horrible company who won't do the right thing, DO NOT USE THEM.

"Erin".... what you failed to mention was that I offered SEVERAL times to send my carpet cleaner over there to clean the spot "my team" made.... My team had pics of the carpet when they got there..... it was heavily stained.... Regardless, "Erin" yelled at me saying "No, we will pay her to get it cleaned, and that she will call her lawyer." After the several attempts to send my carpet cleaner there, she THEN calls at 3:15 on a holiday asking when we would send our guy out..... We try to work with customers before getting to this point. It's difficult to work with a customer that cuts you off when you are trying to talk, and says "No" SEVERAL times when trying to solve and issue.

WOW cleaning has been our go-to cleaners for our office for almost a year now. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about their attention to detail, and the fantastic customer service we receive.
My desk is organized and neat, but I do have quite a bit of memorabilia on it, and somehow they are able to clean everything, keyboards, monitors, phones, under the desk mat, and rearrange everything exactly how I left it.
There has not been a single time coming into the office after a cleaning that anything has been out of place, or left undone. Extremely satisfied, with the work they do, and the fact that they are green makes it that much better.

I called WOW two Saturdays ago to set up a cleaning on that next Sunday. I found the local business angle, environmentally product angle and clearly established business angle appealing.
Even though WOW wasn't open on Saturday, they got back to me and after a few back and forths I was able to get a cleaning set up for Monday, prior to my mom's arrival.
It wasn't cheap, but I figured they'd do a bang-up job. I ordered a Deluxe cleaning in part because I wanted a few of the add-on services that I thought were a part of it which included interior window washing and dish cleaning. I also ordered the carpet and upholstery cleaning service as I inherited a large sectional couch that had a few trouble spots when I got it and upon which my cats spent a lot of time.
The estimate that I thought was pretty firm was $185 for all services after the $30 break for using the discount mentioned here on Yelp!.
The two workers were scheduled to arrive at my place at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Upon my arrival at 8:22 a.m. or so they were already there, giving me strange looks rather than offering me a customary greeting.
I let them in and had them park in the better, more obvious spot, in front of the correct unit rather than my neighbor's unit.
My duplex was still fairly cluttered so I moved some items to accommodate the workers. Even still I suspect there was more with which to deal than they were accustomed. I worked to move many things to make things easier for the two ladies while they started on the two bathrooms.
My place wasn't terribly unclean. While I have lived there a few months, I'm rarely home. I've done some cleaning and my cats leave hair about, but it's only so hard to clean that up. It's not like I'm the most interesting man in the world have a mountain lion as a pet.
Even though my place is something like 900 square feet, the ladies were unable to clean it in the anticipated time and I was told I would have to pay extra. They were done well before noon as I arrived around noon and they were long gone with only the nearly complete carpet/upholstery guy there.
Dishes were put in a huge pile in the sink on the side with the garbage disposal. All dirty still. Not fun to find that, but it was a lot less disappointing when I looked more closely at what's included. Some dirty dishes were also hastily put into the dishwasher.
The liners were not all put into available trashcans. The workers did not attempt to contact me about the locations of the liners. That is listed as part of their service.
The place was obviously clean, but it didn't feel THAT clean. I feel like I could have easily done as good of a job myself, possibly in a similar amount of time as both women.
One piece of upholstery was not cleaned. It was a large cushion that one uses to sit up in bed against a wall. I was told that because "I didn't provide instructions" that it hadn't been cleaned. I asked about it later and was told it would cost $25 for gas and expense to come look at it and see if it was cleanable by the same method as the upholstery.
So, to summarize:
1. It started expensively and they opted to charge me extra.
2. Some stated services were not performed.
3. It wasn't that impressive of a service.
4. In order to satisfy me, a first time customer, I would have to pay extra.
All in all, a very disappointing experience. No apologies, just "you didn't give us instruction" and "we're going to have to charge more because our workers are slow" and unfriendly, socially inept workers.
I'll get a referral from someone else.
I haven't worked extensively with them about resolving my issues, but they also haven't tried that hard to make sure I was satisfied so I'm comfortable giving this review without contacting them for a partial refund or explanation of their services. I would normally feel a sense of responsibility to give them a chance. We aim to please and customer satisfaction is our #1 goal. We have many satisified customers.
In the case with Mr Friedman, he was upset that we didn't clean a seat that was left on top of a sofa that we cleaned. Yes, that is true I did explain to him that the seat wasn't cleaned because he asked for a "sofa" to be cleaned (this cushion seat wasn't even part of this sofa). If he would have left a note (which I told him this) we would have cleaned and not charged extra. Since it wasn't becuase we didn't follow instructions we didn't offer to go back for free.
In regards to the cleaning, he didn't complain at all about our cleaning when we talked on the phone. The dishes are NOT part of the service he scheduled. He also received a confirmation email which states the service he scheduled and we include a checklist of what's included.
He paid $170 for our Top to Bottom Deluxe and considering the conidtion of the home that was a fair price.
Mr Friedman if you would have expressed disatisfaction in our cleaning we would have gone back to reclean any areas you weren't happy with. That is our guarantee and we keep our word to this guarantee.

I had Wow coming bi-weekly from June until two weeks ago. I was being charged $99/session. I had multiple complaints during my time with Wow.
The house never felt clean, and I had to call to have them come fix things on many occasions. Baseboards, fans, blinds, etc were constantly not done. I have 3/4 hard wood in my home, and the final straw for me was coming home to my floors feeling grimy when I walked on them. I pulled out my steam mop and only did the kitchen area and what came off was just unacceptable. I know for a fact that they weren't mopped that day, and I frankly question the last time they HAD been done properly.
The staff (other than the office manager who is very friendly) was brusque and rude. They are supposed to call 20 mins prior to arriving and I've had girls show up on my doorstep before the time they were supposed to arrive, without calling first. When I told them it'd be a few minutes for me to get me and my daughter out the door, I was rudely told "Well, I called, it's not my fault it didn't come through on your end."

Hi Shawna thanks for your input and I apologize for our service being less than the best. We are under new ownership as of May 1 and we are re-training our staff in both cleaning and customer service. I will have Michelle our office manager be in touch as that is not the way we do business and want to make sure that you know that we will do everything possible to make a Wow Clean the best clean. I can assure you that I hear about every complaint and will take steps to make sure both service and our interactions at all levels are pleasant and professional.

I purchased 3 cleaning sessions through groupon because I have been looking for a quality maid service to some regular cleaning. Even at the discounted price I was ripped off.
I schedule my first cleaning a month in advance the day before a party I was hosting. They did not show up. I called to complain and they sent someone in the next day. She was nice but very slow. In two hours she cleaned my stove microwave and swiffered my kitchen floor and recleaned my immaculate bathroom, she didn't do what I asked so much as what she wanted and when we offered to pay for additional time so she could do the job we wanted she said no.
Second cleaning was supposed to be the following month. They never showed up :(

We were given a 12-1PM arrival time, and have not shown up 4 hours later. Completely hung us out to dry so I do not see a way to give anything but a 1/5. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on a business that lies to you, and will not return phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I am sure any of their competitors would actually show up to the job they scheduled. I really can't find enough places on social media to warn people.

Its VERY UNFORTUNATE that people no longer use Yelp for the right reasons... this is MOST definitely not a real review. We have NEVER heard of this person, and they NEVER used our service. At times, we may be late..... but WE NEVER NOT SHOW UP.

Wow has been the best! They have been the cleaning service for the Veterans Guest House for over 10 years. Their employees are professional and detail oriented. They are here 5 days a week and the house looks fabulous! Thank you WOW!
