Great beer selection! Great ice cream selection! Really nice guy behind the counter!

And Wolverine Party Shoppe joins the already impressive ranks of dope ass party stores in Ann Arbor.

Typical party store... it's kinda of hidden from the main road, behind the Plum Market. The place is linked to a restaurant, recently they opened up the area so you can actually access both stores from either building.

They have large selection of drinks - both alcoholic and non.... the cashier that helped me was friendly and I had no issues.... prices are little bit on the higher end... but hey, when you are in a hurry, party stores are always great place to stop by, especially if you don't want to deal with hassle of parking, walking in, waiting in line for cashier, etc. at one of those large retailers.

Wolverine Party Shoppe saved my New Years Eve!

During the mad-alcohol rush of that day, I visited two grocery stores in search of a bottle of grenadine as part of a host gift (a shirley temple kit for my non-drinkin' friend.) Both grocery stores were sold out. On my way home about to give up, I saw this place and stopped on in.

Even though it was busy, workers inside were very helpful. I got pointed to their selection of grenadine. There was a small bottle that worked out perfectly!

In addition to mixers, wine, and liquor, I now stop on in here for their large selection of craft beer, mainly from Michigan. Prices are reasonable.

For the selection, convenient in and out nature, friendly and helpful workers, and having what I need in stock, Wolverine Party Shoppe is worthy of 5 stars!

THEEEE BEST customer service. All the guys are so conversational and care about their customers (especially the usuals!!!!). I've lived down the road for four years now and it's almost like visiting with friends every time I come in. Prices are competitive, but, it makes sense considering the location. Can't say enough great things about this party store :)

This place has HORRIBLE customer service and sells over priced liquor. Upon entering the store, I asked an associate for a handle of the "regular" Bacardi. I received about 10 minutes of attitude, proclaiming that I needed to distinguish better because the "regular" bacardi is actually the brown, not the clear. After this, I patiently waited at the counter while the associate completely ignored me (doing what I'm not sure), and then came over, only to let another customer skip me in line!

When I was finally assisted, he told me the total, which was $15 more than the sign identified. When I brought this up, he snapped at me that that was for a different liquor and that the one I was buying was actually the lowest legal price to sell the alcohol (NOT true--it was about $15 OVER the regular price.)

He the proceeded to run my credit card TWICE, and when I asked him about it, he snapped again and told me that since I had taken so long to make a decision, he had to run it again and that it had not been double charged.

In short, unless you want rude service and overpriced liquor, there is no reason to visit this establishment.
