Wine Spring

Wine Spring is an excellent wine store conveniently located on Varick, just off of Canal. There's an excellent array of very well priced options and the service is beyond compare. Oz is super helpful and knowledgeable and always takes the time to make you feel special just for walking through the door.

Great find in SoHo! Nice wines from around the world. Smaller but good and affordable selections.

It's pricey, but that's all location. I don't know if ownership has changed, but the man who works there now/for the last few months at least is absolutely lovely. I've never had anything but pleasant and friendly experiences with him, and since I work right across the street, we've had dozens of encounters. This place is convenient for a lot of people, nice inside, and well-organized -- with a very friendly, helpful cashier.

I'll be very blunt here and in order to make me give five stars to a liquor store one must have a pint of Smirnoff for $10 or less -- no questions asked

Do not buy your liquor here. If I could give zero stars I would. HUGE RIP OFF. The store owner is beyond rude to his customers and yells at them. As a store owner I would treat my customers with respect so they return not yell and scare them off. He had such a nasty attitude I would never go back and spend a single penny at this place. Give your money to someone who would appreciate your business.

Went here because of the price on line but this place has a very limited variety and very little stock. The guy working here basically ignored me after saying they did not have what I was looking for, but when a lady walked in he told her I will be right with you anything you need. Hmmm

Save your time, MOOD, and money. This guy does not deserve one cent of business. He is SO rude and couldn't even crack a smile, or reply to a question nicely. Instead, he got angry, started accusing us of being rude and demanding (when we were literally talking to him in the nicest tone...) and started cursing. I will never return here again. His liquor is overpriced and his attitude does not make up for it. I almost wanted to leave without giving him the business. Do not go here.

Great store with good selection and super friendly staff. They have this cool in-store tasting every Friday 4-8pm.

Incredibly rude salesman and overpriced liquor. The store owner treated my friends and I with such disrespect when we went to make a purchase, I'm shocked this place is still in business. Would not recommend, take your business elsewhere.

Overpriced and completely RUDE salesperson. Several times I went into the store the gentleman was irritated to answer any questions or help in any way. I can't believe this guy is still in business. Maybe it's money laundering for some other business. How else could he afford to pay the commercial rent there.
