William Church Winery was established in 2005. We are located in an office park in northern Woodinville, Washington, along with a number of other wineries. Better known as the "Warehouse Winery District," this is where many of Woodinville's newest, most exciting wineries can be found. The inspiration for William Church Winery came about to honor and acknowledge the legacy of our families on both sides. We are dedicated to making wine that is inviting and aproachable, that is great with food but can stand alone, and perhaps most important, contains the complexity and structure found in truly great wine. The rose window design from French Gothic architecture signifies the beauty, completeness, and balance we strive to achieve.

Came last Friday 30 minutes before they were closing but were still allowing wine tastings. For a late Friday night (8pm) it was not busy which I was a lottle surprised at because the parking in this area was packed! There must have all been at Purple Cafe or The Commons.
The wine server was nice and answered a lot of my questions. The area is spacious and has some standing tables, the wine counter, a few sitdown chairs and outdoor seating. They allow dogs in whoch was very nice. They have a little fridge with some cheese, crackers, some non wine drinks and other things you can buy.
The wines we had were a Viognier, Cabernet Franc and a Bordeaux blend called Sur la Mer. All 3 wines were very good. The white wine, the Viognier, had at first a slightly acidic fruit smell but when I drank it, it came off as balanced, a slight sweetness lending some viscosity, and not too acidic. It had body and flavor unlike many other shites I've had.
The Cabernet Franv was also flavorful but balanced. A little different than Cabernet Sauvignon, maybe evene a bit better in my opinion. The Sur La Mer was also a flavorful balanced red. Sorry I can't explain better lol - I forgot the taste exactly after a few days, just remember it was good.
The bottle prices weren't too bad. I would definitely recommend trying their wines and coming to hang out with friends and pups.

This was our first visit to Woodinville, WA. This was our 3rd visit to the great state of Washington in 4 years. I mapped this place out and said this would be perfect for us. Now I had this place on my mind for several months.
The lady that waited on us was very pleasant. The wines were all really good. I'm a dry red drinker over other wines. Surprised how good the white wines were as well.
I was fortunately featured on William Church Winery Instagram page, under my name @GrabthemByTheGrapes. I loved this place and will be back, and or order wine straight to PA.

Decided to walk in here after having lunch next door, super small but cute tasting room. Just did 1 tasting and didn't end up getting a bottle cause I didn't fully love any of the wines I tried. HOWEVER I am not a fan of Syrah's and liked the one hey had.

Decided to stop in for a glass of Rose. We had the whole place to ourselves! We were promptly greeted and the tasting began! The wine is so delicious and the customer service excellent. By the time we left an hour later, the place was packed with peeps enjoying the cool breeze outside on this hot day! A great place to hang out and have wine!

New owners! Will be renamed Tinte winery merging with Cullen cellars. Also not going to be in the 2019 passport.
Had a lovely tasting experience here. We were the only people in that day. Tried four distinct wines. All excellent. Some nibblies available for purchase along with wine tasting swag. Our pourer recommended a few other places in the area (very classy!) lovely way to start an afternoon of tasting in the Hollywood district.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Morgan L.Seattle, WA192588836Sep 28, 2012
I went on a double date to Purple in Woodinville, but shared a bottle of wine here first since the wait at Purple was lengthy. Seriously, made the wait 110% better.
The wine was legit, small selection but definitely worth the money. We got to relax in the warm breeze on the patio and enjoy the friendly service. This place has made it on our "must do again" list.
Tip: Although we didn't try it, you can order food from Purple and be served here. Pretty cool if you want to skip waiting!

What a disgraceful excuse for a tasting room! The pudgy-grumpy host couldn't have been more rude! He was put off that we had a 2017 Passport to Woodinville booklet. After scolding us for not registering our passport, he gave a world record smallest taste of wine ever. I set my glass down without tasting and we walked out. Unbelievable! Don't waste your time with this place. What a jerk! Hey owners of the winery, this guy is a reflection on you.

Hi Kent,
I would like to apologize for the poor service you received upon your visit.
We are very proud to be participating in the Passport program. We plan to participate again in 2018 which makes us supporters of the program for all 3 of its years running! Not all participants can say that.
We are also very proud of our wines! I would like to invite you (as a group of 4) in to our tasting room to try our wines on the house. I Hope you consider giving us another try!
Thank you,

Lovely wine, great, knowledgeable and friendly customer service. I love coming here but once the dog came in.....I LOVE animals, but they don't belong AT the tasting room. Would have been 5 star except for that.

I love the William Church tasting room. So many options to choose from in Woodinville-- this is by far my favorite. Also love the logo. Joined the wine club just so I could get the logo glasses.

Tried to get a table at Purple Cafe next door but it was over an hour wait. The gal said we could go do some more tastings, but most of them had already closed. She referred us here and even said we could order food and they would bring it to us! scored!
We even were so lucky as to get a table. I thought their wines were delcious! We bought 2 bottles, I liked the Bishop's Blend and we also bought the Syrah. Both were reasonably priced.
and the best part was we got to fill our tummy's on some Purple food while we were at it! Win-Win!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
