A lively cafe with a fast casual set up has grown into a hit in the Agoura Hills area. Dear Hubby and I had been there several times when it was newer, at that time sporting more of a coffeehouse with baked goods type of vibe.

In the interim, they've expanded the seating spaces, plus the menu. Upon walking in on a crisp Sunday morning, we saw a line to order, and a full house at the tables. Apparently, a best bet is to have someone on your party snag a table, while someone else goes through the queue to select your meal, snack, or beverage, and pay.

Large menu boards provide many options for prepared dishes. Breakfast and lunch selections, most featuring baked goods, are there to tempt you. The cashier was delightful - armed with a warm smile and a caring manner, she made a great representation for their establishment.

Once your order number is in hand, it's back to your table to await the arrival of your meal. A bit of time ensued to be able to check out the room, and visit with your group. Lots of open space means the volume was a factor that made quiet conversation elusive.

We were dining with one of our dear friends. She chose their seasonal chicken pot pie, and offered us a sample. The flavor and crust were great, but the sauce on the chicken and veggies was more like soup than a full-bodied sauce.

I wasn't that hungry, so opted for chicken-potoato soup. It came with a roll on the side. Found the soup to be underwhelming, on the bland side and too watery for my preference. Actually, there seemed to be more chicken than potatoes in it, and could have used more spuds. Also, I would have preferred more of a creamy, chowder-like consistency, versus runny broth.

Ended up taking half home, and the roll, too. Since it wasn't a soft roll, it was pretty crunchy upon toasting. Dear Hubby and I split a small cinnamon pull-apart type roll for dessert. Looked great, but was trending toward stale, and not the fluffy treat I was expecting.

Overall, this bakery-cafe is bustling, and tries to please, but we weren't super-impressed with the food choices we made. DH said, "It feels like they're a victim of their own success", from the lack of flow to get seating, to the only adequate, but not outstanding, food.

This restaurant is a breath of fresh air. It's a nice change of pace from the chain restaurants in the area. I ordered the wildflour chopped quinoa salad with chicken and it was delicious! The tasty desserts are so tempting and creative (who makes their own pop tarts? This place!).

My friend ordered the roasted turkey avocado on artisan bread and she loved it.

When I came this last time they were featuring the pixie (type of orange) from ojai. What a nice way to honor our local cities!

Wife and I were driving down the 101 and I was starving and I ready to stretch my legs. Randomly picked an off ramp and saw this plaza. Wildflour looked like an interesting place and it was PACKED to the brim. Was a very good choice. We got lucky and got the last table. The crowds never let up. It was a never ending stream of people. The menu had all sorts of delicious stuff with a large breakfast and lunch menu. Since this is also a bakery they had amazing display of fresh baked breads and desserts on display too.

I decided on the Caprese sandwich which was tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil, arugula, sundried tomato aioli, and balsamic reduction served on their organic baguette. The ingredients were plentiful and it was a delicious filling sandwich. It was served with a small side salad.

My wife went with their crispy chicken sandwich which looked fantastic. It was a sesame brioche cut into three sections like sliders. It had breaded fried organic chicken, baby swiss, tomato, and kale slaw. It to was served with a side salad.

While eating our delicious sandwiches our table was facing the bakery display. I kept saying to myelf "be strong... be strong.." but I failed my willpower roll and ended up getting us each a strawberry shortcake cupcake. Was worth the diet cheat.

Great place. There's a reason it's crowded. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Keep on driving past McDonalds and head on over here. Sure it's busy but it's worth it.

Wildflour Bakery & Cafe in Agoura Hills is absolutely amazing!

The moment you walk in you know you're in the right spot! Baked goodies fill the air and their breakfast and lunches reign supreme!!!

We saw them on the Food Network...notably for their unique bagel muffins!!!

We opted for the bagel muffins and those are unbelievably delicious and addictive...a must try! The carrot cake cupcake was PERFECT! One bite and it brought me back to my aunts carrot cake! Seriously! The cream CHEESE frosting...not too sweet...and shreds of carrots letting you know that you just bit into real! Lol. And the perfect blend of spice. Forget about me baking ever again...this is my go to spot from now on!

The gluten free chocolate cheesecake is unmatched...between brownie and heaven.

Omg it is so worth the trip and you won't want to leave!!!

The service is great, their selections are beyond something for everyone! The fresh baked baguettes are things of beauty.

I know what I'm putting in my friends Christmas baskets!

So get there and you'll be so happy you did! Check their store hours.

Wildflour Bakery & Cafe we love you!!!

      Yelp 100 Challenge 50

Came in looking for a challah and some vegan cookies. Learned most baked goods are made with butter, so didn't get any cookies and they were out of challah. Imagine that?? What I was pleasantly surprised to learn was they offered a small, unbaked challah for about $2.50. What an unexpected amazing find! Came home, gave it an egg wash and in a short while the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the house. The little challah was delicious! Now, Wildflower, how about some vegan cookies?

      Best deal, take and bake!

The place is a hidden gem right off the freeway. My wife and I came out from West Hills just for lunch. All the breads looked amazing but we came for salads. My wife had the cob, no bacon and I had the Chinese chicken salad.

Portions are small for a $14 salad, and for that price point, I can get a salad anywhere. If we are out that way, it's one thing, however, our favorite Italian bakery is across the freeway.

I'm a regular customer who, post quarantine, had eaten here on a weekly basis. In the past I wouldn't hesitate to give 5 stars, however today I ordered for curb side pick up & I am so disappointed with the salad I usually order. For great service today I give 3 and not 1 stars.
For a $12 salad, I would expect to open the container & find a large salad, but today, I am disappointed to report that only half my container was filled and I didn't get the usual roll, but a small slice of baguette. Quantity and quality have been comprised!

Tossed chopped quinoa salad before I took a bite! Would like more salad for $12!!!!

      Everything about Wildflour is perfection

Service is super fast - we ordered, got our food, and finished eating within 35 minutes. The servers were all super friendly despite how busy it was.

The food itself is super delicious and a great price. I usually go for the 2 eggs, potatoes, and toast ($7.50) and it's the perfect amount of food for me.
You also absolutely have to try their rosemary bread - I get it every time as my toast and it's probably one of the most delicious breads I've ever had!

As a side note, sometimes they put out the drinks on the side of the cash register instead of bringing it to the table. So if you're waiting in your coffee, check the counter!

2 eggs, potato, & rosemary toast
cute lil sunflowers on the tables!

Delicious breakfast. I was visiting family in the area and decided to give this bakery/ cafe a try.
You order at the counter, they give you a number and they will bring food to your table. A must visit if your are in Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills Area.
