The service was fast and the food was excellent. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and inviting I was also happy that they had a bar. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
I really like it here, food is always delicious. Today I ordered a lunch special, a drink from the bar (yay day off), and a single spring roll (I know-that's odd). The drink was alright. Not the best mojito I have ever had but was still decent. The service here has never been outstanding, it's not bad, it just isn't something to write home about. Not much of an interior, pretty boring, always makes me think they are closing down as it seems like they are on their way out the door and took all the pictures down?!?! But that's just how it is there. I recommend it if you want good sushi for a decent price. If you're looking for a more attentive waitstaff or a place with a relaxing ambience, this is the place you should not go.
Average, blend food and bad service. I stop here only if I'm in a hurry and need something quick to take out other than that I stay away!
It's a real shame that the quality of the food and the staff has declined. We used to come here a few times a year, We called in our takeout order ahead. When we arrived the reception from the "greeter" was totally blase'. Wonton soup---tasteless with a few scallions, the dough around the wonton was light, but just no taste. Honey Walnut Shrimp- Little heavy on the sauce, and it did have a nice enough flavor. Ask for brown rice if you like that.............they don't ask your preference.
They charge extra for each little thing you ask for: eel sauce, spicy mayo, crunch. Paying $1 - $2 extra for each item made my $10 lunch almost $20. At least let the customer know.
Horrible Customer Service! Horrible FOOD! I asked for no onions in my fried rice and they still put onions in the rice, once I called they told me to leave work to come get it so I asked if they could deliver which was only 2 mins away. Customer service was very rude about the situation and the rice they delivered I found hair on the broccoli which wasn't mine. I asked to speak to supervisor and he told me only way I could get my refund is to bring the rice back which was fine. I ended up leaving my job again to get my money back and manager was very rude, justifying and making excuses for the first mistake of the onions and the second mistake of hair in my food! They also do not honor prices online so watch out for false advertisement of food prices. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE EVER AGAIN NOR WILL MY COMPANY! I NOW HAVE FOOD POISIONING! YUCK! #DISGUSTING
Wow, not sure about dinner but the lunch special is one of the best bargains in the area. Excellent Asian dish, served in a bento box and soup All for under $10. Place was not crowded so plenty of attention. We now know where to get a great lunch away from the crowds.
The food is good and the price is fair, however the service is always terrible. I feel like I'm offending the waiter whenever I order, like they're doing me a favor. Bento boxes are great for lunch.
This was my go to sushi place for years so when the shopping center was getting a makeover I was devastated. But, I'm happy to report they are open and back in business and the menu is the same! I would've died if my beloved Yama roll was no longer on the menu. We stopped in last night and it was just as good as I remembered. We started w a seaweed salad and crab Rangoon (both delicious), I had the Yama roll (insanely good, melts in your mouth ;)) and the spicy salmon roll and my bf had the shrimp pad Thai. We left happy with full bellies. We will definitely be back!
Went on a whim after taking to a coworker who hipped mevto the Kimchi Fried Rice w/ Beef. He was not wrong. Oh my word, it made my tummy and tastebuds so happy. Perfect ratio of rice to kimchi to beef. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely adding this to my Friday Treat list.
The hole family likes this place. Nice staff and atmosphere. Sushi is fresh and very good
Don't waste your time/money. The host was nice and the atmosphere was decent but we got sat and forgotten. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. My partner ordered the mandarin duck special which was made mostly of gristle and fat. We weren't given the opportunity to even express our dissatisfaction as we were again forgotten.... We even had to bug the host for the check because a waiter never came back. What a disappointment.
The king has returned! I used to use this place as my first date spot back in the old days (before the move to their new location) and the food is just as good, with improved decor. The Funky Monkey roll is phenomenal and definitely a shock to the palate. I've never eaten anything here that I did not enjoy and that includes things I consider adventurous choices. Worth a visit for quality lunch or dinner.
No and no. I've tried over both of this place's incarnations to give it a shot, but after my 4th and presumably final visit, I've had enough, including 2 takeout and 2 sitdown instances. Maybe it's hit or miss for people, but for me its been all miss all the time. Maybe this place is better than the dumpier Asian places in KoP, but so far I have been unimpressed. The Silken Wonton had no taste and the broth minimally qualified for the name. Sashimi was not bad, but the "special" Kami-kaze roll should be shot for having a ho-hum/bland taste. Some of the pictures are lovely and may even been real, but my deliverable was unimpressive. Other forgettable dishes have been consumed and forgotten, one thing I do remember is "crab" is not real crab, more often imitation crab. If you're a sushi restaurant, this needs to be made more clear on the menu. Venue is nice, but can't really recommend for food. Try Halal Guys next door for something interesting, tasty and has value for your dollar.
This place has the worst service you can expect. 2nd time here and again no one took our order for good 20 mins while people who came after were served. The guy Matthew who works as server here is the biggest rude and non apologetic server Manager had to intervene and took our order herself , surprisingly she remembered us from first time when we were denied service earlier also and was apologetic about it again all in all this place has good food but servers like Matthew just make ur dining experience worse to make us never come back to this place again
Gave this place a shot when I was in the area. Two things I love are duck noodle soup and spicy tuna roll. The opportunity to get both was enticing to say the least. I was happy with the duck noodle soup. There was a good amount of duck. It was a sizable bowl. Truthfully, I should have stopped there. Anytime I get spicy tuna roll, and it is not even a little bit spicy, it is the biggest letdown. That happened here. One out of two isn't bad.
I visited this established a few times. Food is not bad but not great. I will not be returning as their attention to customers is uncalled for. I entered at the same time as another couple. They let me enter before them. The server approached us and I indicated they were here first. The server grabbed menus and seated the two. The server than started cleaning tables off and tending to customer that were eating. He actually left me standing there waiting to be seated. I walked out. He knew I was there to eat and decided to ignore me.
Been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The service is good, the food is good, and the place is clean. Not much good Asian places in King of Prussia so this place is a gem. Highly recommend the spicy yellowtail roll. The sushi is very fresh, a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommend getting the sushi special. Also I recommend the duck noodle soup, it was a big portion and it was very filling with nice meaty pieces of duck. We also tried the duck roll which was ok, it needed some scallions for texture.
My husband and I went a couple times recently. Once for lunch and once for happy hour. Both experiences were ok. Food was decent. Service a bit to be desired, but I would return. When I went for happy hour, they didn't seem to have a bartender. It seemed like it was the manager who mixed the drinks. I don't blame them, the bar wasn't overly busy for a Friday night. I didn't think the happy hour specials were that special, but again I would go back. Crab Rangoon is awesome. Best I've had in the 11 years I've lived in PA. Maybe they will work on their service issues since the food is pretty good.
I have always liked my food from wild rice. The silken wonton soup is pretty good, I like it better then the thicker kind. I love the rolls and my husband likes the pho. It is a good place for take out. I would call it medium take out... Much better the gross dive take out... Pan Asian food is great for takeout because everyone is pleased. I've enjoyed the Kama kazi roll and the green dragon is also tasty. We also like the pan fried dumplings.
