This place was alright. The food is decent...The thing that really irks me are the descriptions on the menu.
I ordered the nachos, and in the description it said, "loaded with beef." When I got my dish, there were tiny sprinkles of beef, like leftover Taco Bell beef scraps.
My sister ordered the sampler, which came with a "bbq beef skewer." There were 3 pieces of beef the size of die (dice) on a skewer which was cut down to the size of a toothpick.
We also ordered the gator, which was like popcorn chicken, but gator of course. The actual meat morsels were tiny and covered in half an inch of fried batter that tasted like nothing.
Our waitress was cute though =) She was from Slovakia doing the whole work-exchange thing and since my dad and I just visited the Czech Republic last year, we all had a nice conversation. - Casey G.Chester, VA1152117/2/2014
Service? Slow and then indifferent attitude
Nachos? Microwaved Tostitos made better at home
Beer? Not really cold and they need to flush their lines out. Â Icky after taste
Entrees? Â Well the $17 BBQ chicken was never even near a smoker. Â !!! Grrrrrrr
We witnessed three sets of families leave and complain all the way out the door. Â Wow. Â
Highlight was the arcade games in the entranceway ( weird since this is a kinda pricey place with burgers costing $13.99!!)
My kids could not hear me complain over PacMan sounds. - Erik F.Indianapolis, IN43129294/28/2014
Don't do it, stay away. Â I had one of their specials (Spaghetti with meatballs) and it was very bland. Â I've had better marinar sauce and meatballs from a can of Chef Boyardee. Â The waitreess was friendly but completely forgot about us after bringing our food. Â I had to hunt her down in order to get our check. Â
It's a shame as this place smelled great from the outside. Â Keep on looking for a better restaurant. - 203844561108910/20/2008
The quality of steaks and meats at Wild Jacks is decent. Â It would never survive New York City standards for quality and service. Â There are better quality of steaks and meat elsewhere.

I let my whole family down by making the executive decision to eat here. Overriding some other options. Should've turned away when it was empty during dinner rush hour on Saturday. Our "loaded" nachos was missing the "loaded". The ribs did come right off the bone and weren't terrible. BUT it was rib meat with generic bbq squirted out the bottle on top after it being cooked. Very Weak for a place calling it self a BBQ joint. Oh Yes.....$$$$ **OVERLY PRICED ABSURD** $$$$
The service was very good. No complaints there. Only reason place has 1 star. I'm shocked a place like this survives?
Just go somewhere else. - Donita M.Virginia Beach, VA0728/2/2015
This place is horrible !!!! Wait staff is very unprofessional, confused, rude. We ordered appetizer when we first got there did not get that till our food was coming. My mashed potatoes were soooooo dry. My husband said he food didn't taste too either. After we left people were talking about the restaurant told them do not go.

The food was bad and service was very very very bad. Â When we informed the manager of our bad service, she advised "Sorry but there is nothing I can do. You will have to pay for it since you ate the food". Â Do NOT go there or you will regret it.

I'm pretty sure they serve microwaved generic food bought from the clearance isle at Costgo.
There was not one food item I was impressed with.
Steak---dry frozen, poorly cooked
Salmon---Pink, frozen, again tasted microwaved
Kids pizza---below lunchables quality
Sweet tea---fountain, are you fricken kidding me, this is the south
All side items were below par
Price...ABOVE LONGHORN STEAKHOUSE PRICES and not even competing on the same planet with Longhorn for quality.
The service however was incredible. Our waitress (Carmen I think) was top notch. She belongs in a much better establishment. I'm pretty sure she was psychic. She new my drink was empty before I did. She saw my wife shaking an empty steak sauce bottle from across the restaurant and straight up charged to our table Captain America style with a new one.
There are only two reasons this business is still in business; that waitress, and the fact that tourists aren't using Yelp. - A S.North Arlington, NJ7913/13/2015
STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO AVOID FOOD POISONING!! If I could give 0 stars I would! The food choices are very limited, the place smells like burnt hair and the booths were sticky and dirty. The only good thing about this place was our upbeat waiter, despite him bringing me a bacon burger with Bbq sauce all over it after I told him I wanted a plain cheeseburger as I'm allergic to pork. No big deal, I picked the bacon off for the most part. That Bbq sauce was nasty stuff. On top of nasty, cold food I walked away with a very nasty case of food poisoning (they prolly put all that sauce on the burger to cover the taste of rot.) This place ruined my Orlando
Vacation as it was my final night and it made for very "uncomfortable" flying back to New Jersey the next morning. - Lauri P.Muskegon, MI0413/5/2015
Ok I admit we didn't read the reviews. We were hungry and there was no waiting. To be honest there was no one in the restaurant at 6:00 pm - first clue. You couldn't help but feel sorry for these people. Very inexperienced waitstaff and it was all sad.. Avoid avoid unless you are looking for fries - those were good.
