Gelatin, really?
Went to one of the many places that serves Wilcoxson's in the area and asked if it was vegetarian, a worker told me yes....Never trust a teenager. Later we went for a trip to the store to buy some to take home, and bam. gelatin is indeed in EVERY flavor. I just don't get it. Ice cream does not NEED boiled skin, tendons, ligaments, and/or bones of animals. What the hell? Many many good ice creams are made without the need for dead animals in the ingredients. Ben and Jerry's, Hagen Daaz... etc... Wilcoxson's is a staple in the area, but common. Make it vegetarian friendly at least. -

I said before that the ice cream was bad and now I am being harassed by a crazy woman that has called me all sorts of names. Does she work for this company? She sent me a message through Yelp entitled, "Another lying hateful POS"

I've tried Wilcoxson's ONE time on a previous visit to see my family in Billings. How you can screw up vanilla is beyond me, but they managed to do so.
Meh... how about no. never again. You can find better ice cream, and at a much better price from your local grocers frozen food section. -

Ran in to a booth at saturday live today that had some wilcoxsons... Had the huckleberry ice cream sandwich....very good. Wilcoxsons is a local favorite that will not be affected by all this social media nonsense. In fact, when I ask friends if they have heard about the problem...nobody has...

I went two years ago and last year and it was so-so both times. Not bad tasting, but not premium. Everything else aside, how can you call yourself premium ice cream and use pork gelatin in your product! Disgusting! Now that I know, never again!
If you call yourself "premium", how about just using more cream and less milk? instead of adding gelatin? That's what premium ice cream makers REALLY do. Hell, even some retail brands don't use that anymore. -

Lived in Bozeman, MT for several years and LOVE Wilcoxson's Ice Cream. I miss it! The vast majority of the people leaving "reviews" here aren't commenting on the product and have never even set foot in MT. Please, spout your politically correct BS elsewhere. For the rest of the SANE population who has a thicker skin and doesn't chant "racism" any time a single sentence they don't personally agree with is uttered, try the product before you judge. It's delicious!! Funny how "tolerance" only goes one way with these posters here... LAME!

Mmmmmm...always on the lookout for good local ice cream, and these guys are spot on. Too bad they don't have a real parlor around here - though I think they serve it at a pottery place out on King street. I picked up a pint of peanut butter chip and a quart of chocolate at a convenience store, and they are deeeelish. Sayonara, Baskin-Robbins and your gummy, freezer-burned ice cream!!
