Wonderfully small establishment that doesn't make you feel rushed. Sessions last the whole allotted time, sometimes longer if need be! Great center with experienced counselors. Definitely better than those large corporate offices.

very disappointing experience. my therapist ally always kept her cell phone on the table and was very focused on it at all times, reading and responding to texts frequently whenever it buzzed. i asked her to put her phone away during our sessions and she adamantly refused, citing great concern over the fact that her son with a seizure disorder was driving and she needed to be reachable in case anything happened.

that gave me grave concerns regarding the ethical standards of this counselor. anyone who feels someone with a seizure disorder should be behind the wheel of a car.... scares me. i've heard that this profession attracts narcissists, and i am not making a diagnosis, but it was totally the ally show, and hearing stories about her and watching her text, were not therapeutic. when i said i quit, i was screamed at, ordered to get back here and sit down.... and it was pure bullying.

i contacted sandra with my concerns and got a strong sense that she did not care about or believe a word i said. guess they are birds of a feather over there.

sadly, white dove was a waste of my time and money. i have found someone who actually has decent ethics elsewhere, so there really is no need to settle for low practice standards.
