Westy's Pub

Westy's is now Allies since February of last year. It was a great place. Very friendly barista and we ordered wings. The wings were great. Very crispy. Ambience was great. We were there at maybe 2:30? and had a great experience. It's just a bar with good neighborhood patrons.

It is ok if you want to drink beer but not great food. Very little decor, ambiance or service.

First off let me just say I was a vegetarian for a year and the one thing that broke my streak was Westy's wings. And it was worth it... They are THE. BEST. WINGS. If you happen to be there when the owner's daughter is there, ask for a side of secret Shifty sauce. Trust me

But besides the food, this place is a go-to bar for me. Good combination of chill locals and the occasional wild crowd. Darts and plenty of pool tables. Touch Tunes juke box that I end up spending more money on than drinks. The owner is a sweetheart and gives great service. Gotta love Westy's!

This place has some of the BEST wings in the city. Order their "shifty sauce" and you won't be disappointed. The pizza is made from scratch and is also delicious! The bartender was super friendly and the whole atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you're looking for a cozy bar to chill at this is it!

Wow dive bar reviews always seem to be a mixed bag. We ventured over to Westy's a local pub that is just off the Maderia shopping strip. It's one of those places you drive by a thousand times, but never go in. Well, we finalllly made in inside and this place is pretty cool, a nice oasis for Maderia residents.

The first thing we noticed, is that this place serves food? Well, sometimes. Check the hours or call. Apparently it started off as a pizza joint WAY back when. The new owners took it over 20 years ago, and converted it into a bar. It still has a little bit of a restaurant feel and they have maintained the integrity of the pizza. Although we didn't have it the bartender said it is made fresh every day with fresh hand tossed crust and never frozen. I am looking forward to heading back for this!

The bartender was very friendly and smiley. Generally happy to be there. She had great knowledge of the place and neighborhood and she was fun to be around. We also had one of their jello shots, which is more like a jello CUP. This thing is huge and very boozy for only a buck.

I asked her if she made a good bloody mary as it was our first stop Saturday morning and she said yes. I took her word for it and it was surprisingly delicious! We bantered over our love / hate relationships and how drastically a bloody can taste depending on who made it.

Cheap, friendly, neighborhood hang right in the heart of Maderia. I will be back, if not to see that 98 degrees poster in the women's restroom one more time, to try that pizza!

What can I say about Westy's? So much! This is a local gem in the heart of Madeira. It's known as a local watering hole with delicious food. Definitely has a dive bar feel to it. Last call for food is 9:30 on weekdays and 10:30pm on weekends. They only serve fryer foods on Sundays!

Their wings are some of the best I've ever had, you will not go wrong getting those. The pizza is made fresh daily so that is most definitely a go-to when eating at Westy's. This local bar has got an old school vibe with a pool table free of charge on Tuesday's! There are tables in the bar for larger groups or you can choose to sit up at the bar. They also have some Jell-O shots that are a perfect fruity choice with plenty of booze. Pricing here is cheap and definitely worth the money.

This bar usually has locals, but some weekends can get very animated with various events that they throw. The bar is owned by a Madeira local who has a deep care about her business, shout out to Karen doing a great job. Whether you're looking for somewhere fun to hang out or have been super curious about this place, I highly recommend you try it out!

I'm so glad this place is able to stay open during covid. Great local hospitality. Good drinks, great bar food, awesome people. Thank you, Westys!

Let me just say - Westy's Pub never disappoints. The crowd is always welcoming and enjoyable. Our favorite bartender is always there and knows how to have a good time. Westys is the besties!

Westy's is amazing! The whole vibe is super laid back and the staff is very friendly and personable. The food is also great and reasonably priced. The wings are some of my favorite in all of Cincinnati, can't go wrong with any of the sauces. Definitely a must try local spot

I have only had the BBQ wings here and they were wonderful. They were perfectly sauced, just enough sauce to give you the flavor without over powering the wing it's self or being to messy to eat. The wing has a crispy outside with a soft and chewy but not soggy meaty inside. If you are in the mood for wings & in the area give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed.
