I was hesitant about selecting a new dentist because I have had so many bad experiences in the past. Even so, I needed to get it done, so I called up West Chester Dental based on reviews on Yelp. I have to say, I'm glad that I listened to Emily R. and Lara P. My experiences with West Chester Dental have been outstanding. When I called up to discuss becoming a patient, Tyler was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Given that this is a fairly sizeable practice, I had the option of dentists, and after some discussion about my preferences and needs, she set me up with Dr. Goel, the head of the practice. I came in for my first appointment just to assess where we are at and put together a treatment plan, and everyone was just so pleasant and nice. Dr. Goel came in and introduced himself and asked how I was doing, and when I replied that I was stressed, he assured me that this was a stress-free environment and that everything would be fine. He couldn't be more right. I have had no stress when I have been in to see Dr. Goel or his staff, even with my anxieties. Since my first visit, I have had some fairly extensive work done, and have more to go. I have had a variety of work done in the past, and Dr. Goel and his staff do such a better job of performing the work and handling the paperwork. The process has been seamless, even when dealing with my insurance carrier. I had oral surgery, and came out if it with nearly no pain. I required a top plate, and when it has needed adjustment, they have been able to get me in same day and get the adjustment done. My last appointment took less than 15 minutes, and made such an improvement in the fit. I also like that they are not only concerned about fixing things like fillings and crowns, but they also are concerned about how it looks. The quality of the work and care is more than I expected. If you are looking for a dentist in this area of town, I highly recommend West Chester Dental. I am so glad I made the choice and contacted them.
I went to this place upon a co-worker's recommendation. My first impression was that it was very upscale and nice. Unfortunately the service didn't live up to its appearance. I had an 11 AM appt. I arrived at 10:40 as requested to fill out my initial paperwork. They took me in for x-rays at 11 AM on time, but after running through the gambit of x-rays they were about to take I asked them if they read my clipboard because I clearly stated I am pregnant and this means you cannot get x-rays. It took me saying something-- they never even read the info I filled out. Then I was sent back to the waiting room and waited for another 35 minutes until I finally asked the front desk if I would be taken in any time soon because I have to get back to work. They advised they have a new 'system' and they are backlogged and wouldn't be able to take me for another 15 minutes at least, almost an hour afte rmy initial appointment time. I said I'd have to reschedule and left. The least they could do is read the clipboard to ensure they don't x-ray pregnant women and call clients to tell them they are backlogged and either come an hour later or reschedule. Their time is not more important than the customers! I expect to wait at the doctors, but the dentist's office!? I would NOT recommend going here.
My husband and I have been going here for years. Always a great experience! Their goal is to provide a pleasant (as pain-free as possible) experience and they deliver every time. They have the latest technology, a beautiful office and a friendly staff. We've seen the practice grow over the years but never seen a drop in level of service. Have referred friends and employees to these folks and always hear glowing reviews. Try for yourself! :)
I hate going to the dentist as much as anyone, but if I absolutely can't avoid it then this is the place I am going to from now on. I called with a terrible toothache last week, and they were able to get me in to see Dr. Goel within the hour. When I got to the office, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I waited less than 5 minutes in the waiting room before I was called back to the chair of terror. A few quick checks of my teeth and x-rays, and before I knew it Dr. Goel was elbow deep into my emergency root canal. I take good care of my teeth, but I inherited soft teeth, so this was root canal number 9 for me. Having so much experience in the root canal chair qualifies me to say that was quick and easy. I was in no pain at all, and it went so fast. After if was over they let me work out easy payment terms. I went back yesterday for a follow up visit. Once again I had less than a 5 minute wait, was welcomed by a great staff, and was in and out with no pain in little time. Yay!!!!
First, I would really like to take a moment to give a virtual golf clap and high five to the staff at West Chester Dental Group and to Dr. Goel. They do such an amazing job! My teeth are clean, my gums are healthy and I no longer wake up with headaches because they set me up with a mouth guard to keep me from grinding my teeth! Cavities and dentures go away! Dr. Goel is here to stay! Walking in to the offices of the West Chester Dental Group is like walking into your favorite coffee shop that you frequent or a family reunion. They remember you! They remember what you talked about last time! They ask about your pet and the house you were looking at buying. They take excellent care of you. They work in tandum to ensure your oral hygiene is the best it can be and for the long term. They are such warm and loving people and they are extremely credible and notable within the dental community! I absolutely recommend changing going to the West Chester Dental Group for all of your dental care needs! Even if you live in Dayton or an hour away, it is absolutely worth the drive!
