Wee Haul

I was utterly pleased with this company: the service as well as the price! My family was only moving a couple blocks but the three gentlemen that moved us were professional, friendly and efficient. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We used Wee Haul last July (2018) to move my elderly parents into assisted living. It was 120 degrees that day and the move was difficult (ie disorganized on our part). But they were consummate professionals, moving it in record time. They stretch wrap everything so you can keep those drawers packed folks.

By the way, they have not closed their doors as reported by Yelpers. They've just moved to Spyder Circle in Palm Desert. I just talked to them again today (March 2019) because we need to move them again, this time out of the area--they will wrap and load the stuff into a rental for us. They even have a detailed list of the furniture pieces they moved last July so they can plan accordingly.

They are friendly, efficient, organized, and reasonably priced. I'm so glad we found them.

Wee Haul is my go to for short moves. I have used them 8+ times in the last several years. No move is too short. I have had them move boxes of files from my office to an off site storage unit. I've had them move heavy wooden-commercial desks from the ground floor, up a curved staircase to the second floor. I've had them move clients from their home to assisted living. They wrap everything and I've never ever had anything damaged, including walls and doors. Once they get the load to their destination, they carefully set everything up (or stack in the case of file boxes). I appreciate their professionalism. I used them for tiny move this morning, heavy furniture from the garage back into the house after a remodel, and had the same service that I have always expected from them. They deserve my good review.

CAUTION!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
They obviously don't give their employees background checks. My grandparents hired them this past weekend, only to find that that a bag of priceless family heirlooms, cash, important documents and a laptop were stolen! The movers were the only ones in the house besides my grandparents and parents! The matter is still being investigated, but the company is doing absolutely nothing to speed up or end this. If you care about your possessions, stay away from these swindlers!!!

People sent were too weak to move some items that I moved myself with one other person. Broke marble columns. Used hand truck incorrectly to move dryer and bent several gas components. This caused gas leak in house. Still waiting for repair parts and unknown what that will cost me. Nightmare!

Wow--What a rotten review someone gave them!

Just happened to run across this and was surprised to see what this person said. I do not see anything further on it, or if this was a truthful post, but I have to say here that I have known this company since we came here over 20 plus years ago. It's always been the same owner, Chris. Wee Haul has moved us several times here in the desert with anything from 1100 to 4800 square feet plus storage. We have very valuable antiques and finery. I have never ever had issues with them with things 'walking off' or even damage of any kind.

We have been high-end real estate brokers and also recommended them to clients and our clients have been thrilled with them and reuse them again. I just closed an escrow with a client I have had almost a dozen transactions with and she used them yet again. I receive no referral fee (kick back) from them nor do I want one. Just do a good job for my clients and I will honestly recommend you....that's all I ask.

So that's why I'm confused about this previous post as it sounds so off the mark of who they are. I'm about to give their name and number right now to someone else to use and I do it with great confidence.

Please don't trust everything you see out there......I tend to look at reviews when I use someone or buy something. I respect people who do good work, and time and time again, Wee Haul is the best moving company I have ever used or heard back about from clients. No complaints.

Sometimes you just have to speak up when you feel something is wrong.

Have been using Wee Haul for over, I believe, 20 years. Was a very active, high-profile real estate broker in the valley and responsible for many buyers and sellers transition in and out of their homes. Dealt mostly with higher-end properties. I always recommended Wee Haul, and my clients were never disappointed. Also used them for our own moving issues at least ten times. Chris, the owner, is one of he nicest and honest fellows you'd ever meet. He takes great care in the handling of your 'treasures'--I know this because we have many fine European antiques with ormolu, hand carving, crystal, porcelains, etc. I'm really, really picky about the care of my personal items and it is rare that I trust a mover. I trust Wee Haul. Thank you, Chris, for your fine service over the decades......you're the best!

I moved in April 2015 from Palm Desert and had my belongings put in storage for the summer. I used WeeHaul and I want to say Sid the main guy was fantastic. He was on time, very organized and careful with all of my things. He had two assistants, one older guy and a young one and they all worked together great. I was most impressed with how Sid organized everything in the truck and was so careful. I wanted to bubble wrap all my artwork and I was told not to do so because of the heat and humidity in the storage unit could damage them. Instead I purchased for $19 a large rolling cart and all the art went into that. It was so easy and made more sense. Usually I put the artwork between the mattresses and box springs and wrap in blankets. I have not been back to the storage unit to check my things and it has been 6 months but I am hoping everything is fine. I was fearful all my things would not fit in the 10x20 I rented but Sid is a master at arranging things. These guys were polite and fast and I would recommend them to anyone out there. Loretta in the office was great also. I had called other agencies prior to WeeHaul and was told I had to put down a deposit and the fees were outrageous. I read the reviews before I used them and asked about the bad review. The truth is that the bad review is false. I won't get into it but trust me, it was not a truthful review, which is too bad. If you need to know what the fats are talk to Loretta. These people are on the up and up and I trust them completely. I have moved a lot and this is the BEST company I have ever used.
