I have to write something about the Olympics.  I have been glued to my TV for weeks now and someone deserves a good review for the hours of amusement and entertainment that I have have enjoyed.  As I type this I am watching the closing ceremonies.  I have never been one to watch the opening and closing ceremonies (although the Atlanta games with Mohammad Ali and the archer that lit the fire... that was pretty cool)

I don't know where to start about all the cool stuff I got to see this year that I never really paid attention to.  Probably because there have been anywhere between two and four channels of coverage at all times.  High Def, wide screen, live and tape delay...  NBC, MSNBC, CNBC and all their friends had my back no matter how I wanted my Olympics at that particular time.

One and only gripe that is keeping this from being a 5 star.  We need some sort of coverage planner so I know what sports are going to be on what channel at what time.  I mean, I love the spirit of the games and all but I watched like 10 contests of Handball and men's field hockey and ZERO soccer matches.  Hello... We had two Crew players playing in the games but I didn't even know when they played until after they were already out of the tourney.

After it all, who really cares I guess.  I have TV channels devoted entirely to soccer, and Michael Phelps' performance and the Bird's Nest track and field stadium alone are worthy of a 4 star rating.  Looking forward to London 2012.
