It's been one year and this man (although was permitted to kill) continues to walk this Earth and go on living--Cecil was not allowed the luxury. He can not watch his pride thrive and live a full life. Shame on you Palmer. I hope you are reminded every day for what you did. We remember Cecil--rest in peace you majestic and wonderful beast.

People asked why the 5 star review. It is so that Yelp doesn't delete all the low star ratings.

Still breaks my heart thinking about that soulless man taking Cecil from his family and from the world....

I was unaware of Dr. Palmers notorious celebrity status when I went in for an innocent cleaning.  He gathered his team around me and asked me to tell them my little secret.  This seemed rather unusual as I had just come in for the first time.  "What secret?" I replied. He slams his fist on the sink and screams "tell them who is responsible for Mufasa's death!"

OK, at this point I assume this is some kind of joke and start looking for hidden cameras.  Is this a YouTube prank? TrueTV show? I'm not following. "GUILTY! GUILTY!" he kept chanting.  Confused as ever, I get up because at this point I don't care about my teeth cleaning. I stare him down as I am no longer amused. He steps back slowly and falls on his back. He whispers faintly to himself.  I come closer and the whispers get softer. "Are you talking to me?" I ask him.  His mental state has clearly deteriorated at this point.  I smell recently defecated pants coming from Dr. Palmer and can't help but cover my nose in disgust. The faint whispers continued, but this time I hear the words "I did it." What did this man do I wondered.  "All right, all right I did it!" weeping on the floor he says.  Finally, I say to him "so they can hear you!" while pointing to his staff. He clears the tears from his eyes, pauses and screams "I KILLED MUFASA!" I walked away as his staff surrounded him on the floor.  To my back I heard screams and biting as I exited the office. Needless to say, I still need a cleaning.

Mr. Palmer what type of person goes 1/2 way across the world pays a ridiculous amount of money to travel to Africa to kill an animal in its natural habitat and then poses with its headless corpse.....then posts a photo of his account balance with chase----$1,800,000.......hope someone hacks your acct.

Probably became a dentist to fulfill his sadistic desire to inflict pain on humans.....obviously, we know he likes to inflict pain on animals.......

I an emergency physician in New York And I am ashamed that Dr. Palmer is a health care professional. The Socratic oath says "first do harm." Obviously, to dr. Palmer the oath does not apply to animals.

I've had several bewildering and scary experiences with Dr. Palmer. The first time I went in I said "Hi, Dr. Palmer", and he said "Palm her? I don't even know her!" And I was all what I just shook my head.

Another time I was joking with the sexetary and she said "you're lyin!" And he runs out into the lobby with a pith helmet, camo, and a bow and arrow saying "Where! Where is the lion!" I was just there for a tooth cleaning!

Also I lost my tooth biting into soup!

I am ordinary man and I have to do something.

I do not believed in Trophy Hunting because it is not for Food and it is only for "fun".

Walter Jamers Palmer of Eden Prairie, Minn,   Can you tell me why it is "fun" when other creatures is suffering through pain, lost its life and family destroyed.

For Cecil the Lion, a total of 40 hours with Arrow's pains wounds suffering
and then you beheaded him for your trophy?

"I have a family, I harm no one, I am part of the creation in this earth, I have the same right to live as you do" said Cecil the Lion if he can talk (since he cannot talk, we have to be his voice now).

Mr. Palmer, I do not know you but compassion and kind to animal is part of good character and when you hurt animal and make them suffer with arrow wound for 40 hours and beheaded them,  I can say I can Judge you that you are Not a good human being.
You build your joy on top of other animal's pain.

Also, you mentioned "legal", does it matter legal or not when you take away life and create suffering.

In Chinese proverb "We do not Kill Not because there is law and will get punished.
We do not kill because even the laws allow us to kill without punishment, we still
will not kill because we know it is wrong to take life".

It is the conscience and not the law.

Did an okay job on my teeth cleaning.  Usually the assistant does the cleaning,  but dr Palmer did it...didn't have bubble gum toothpaste.  Very disappointed.

It is my pleasure to add my review to the other 1-star reviews of this creep. Dr. Palmer's business deserves to fail so that he won't have any more money to spend on killing the majestic yet helpless large creatures of this planet. Dr. Palmer is too much of a coward to hunt with a spear, knife, or his bare hands; rather, he has to kill from a distance with a bow and arrow that causes hours upon hours of suffering for his unfortunate prey. Just imagine how little Dr. Palmer will care about your own pain when he drills into your teeth with cruel, sadistic pleasure.

Went in for a simple exam and cleaning.  The dentist made me feel very uncomfortable when he started talking about  some hunting trips he has been on. I will never return

Walter Palmer rationalizes that the money he pays to travel to Africa and hunt majestic creatures like Cecil goes toward animal conservation. That's like the pedophiles who rationalize that the money they pay to travel to Indonesia and rape children goes toward food and education. Sorry dear, you're a scumbag murderer no matter how you spin it. I hope Cecil gets his revenge in the afterlife.

The worst most insanity dental situation, not mention mental situation in my life. I think he was doing frogs, his hands were shaking and he was very sweaty and breathing heavy. I pretended to all of the sudden get sick- I felt he would hurt me and he was not in control. I saw a touch in the bathroom and the whole place reeked of marijuana.

This is the stupid A-hole who shot an innocent animal, a Lion and all for a trophy? Is that right Walter? I hope you get what you deserve, I can understand everyone's anger that's on here commenting.
