Went in to receive a western union transfer, a 15 minute transaction which, thanks to the manager, Nikita, was transformed into a 45 minute wait. Nikita was called to help my sister and I with the western union kiosk. After giving vague instructions she left even as we were attempting to ask questions. After finally figuring out how to navigate the kiosk we waited 20 minutes and finally asked the front sales associate to call Nikita for further assistance. It is important to note the front sales associate informed us multiple times that she was new and was not trained in the photo lab area and also that she had used the intercom to call the manager the first time. We were then informed the intercom had been removed from the hook, which I infer was done purposefully seeing as the intercom was functioning perfectly 20 minutes prior. The associate was very helpful and informative, though I can't recall her name. Anyhow, after waiting 15 more minutes or so another sales associate, Tiana Logan, did an absolutely fantastic job of helping us complete the original transaction. Absolutely the worst managerial service ever rendered at any establishment.

I honestly like the Walgreen's chain of drug stores. It's by far superior to the others in my hometown. Now that's not to say that they deserve a badge of honor for excellence! Upon entry today the very first thing that I saw was a display of advertised specials! The thing was completely empty! I mean it's upfront; the very first thing you see! That makes for a bad first impression! If you don't have the specials in supply; move the display! It's really bad for your image! Other than that; The better part of this review. They had the very largest Whitman's Valentine heart shaped box of candy that I've ever seen! Guys: take this advice from a old guy: the Whitman's line of candy has won many a fair maiden's heart! You can't and won't go wrong there! The remainder of this store is completely spotless! Kudos to the management and associates who work here! The pharmacy functions flawlessly! They are on their game for sure! Thanks for the mostly excellent experiences that I've had here! I did ding them some stars for their empty display of advertised specials and the location of it!

Some things for sale here are a good deal and some items are way overpriced! The old saying: Let the buyer beware must be applied here. The pharmacy continues to be its greatest asset. I'n my humble opinion; it's by far the best one in my hometown! The Medicare insurance company who manages my part D decisions gave me two other options to save me a great deal of money.Unfortunately; Walgreens was not the preferred pharmacy for either of these plans. Because I like this RX so much; I decided to bite the bullet pay an extra 20.00 bucks a month to stay with them! That says a lot about the favor I have for them as I usually shop the best deals on everything! They always do a great job with filling my prescriptions and I appreciate them a lot! Thank You Walgreens pharmacy! Great job in keeping a frugal shopper like loyal !!!!
Jun 7, 2022Previous reviewI made a 9:45 pm trip to the pharmacy At Walgreens last night to pick up a prescription. The pharmacy is open 24/7 ! I love that! This 1star review is not about the pharmacy they are great people to deal with and are happy to help the customers anyway that they can! Those get 5 stars from me consistently! The rest of the store is a bit more dismal! A check out lady asked me last night if I wanted to use my rewards bucks towards my purchase. My goodness; it was only a 2.00 dollar reward. After my purchase I noticed that only one dollar was used. I asked the checkout clerk why didn't the whole 2.00 dollars go towards my purchase. That set her off! She became verbally combative with me! In front of other customers and workers! She loudly voiced her directions as to how the redemption process worked like I was a total buffoon! I don't know why this occurred as I was just a customer asking a question. When she finished lecturing me I just looked at her and told her the truth! I could care less about 2.00 measly bucks! It's about the principle of the whole redemption process. I just didn't understand it. I don't know what set her off . This lady needs a serious consulting session with a manager about how to deal with the public decently!
May 20, 2022Previous reviewEven though I'm required by my Medicare part D plan to get my prescriptions at Walgreens in Gaffney,S.C. , I will say that I'm really impressed with the way this drug store is operated! There is no shortage of anything here! No bare shelves at all! I regret that I didn't look at the baby formula section; it didn't occur to me to do so as my daughter is grown ! I will go back to Walgreens tomorrow and check on the availability of baby formulas and post my findings here on Yelp! That's A Promise ! Again; I would like to think that other Walgreens in the upstate South Carolina region are operated as well as this one ! I really recommend this place ! --------- next day trip to Walgreens in Gaffney S.C. ---almost bare baby formula shelves! When I asked the lady in the pharmacy when they would get more formula; her reply was : I have no idea! Then she said no one knows! I understand the United States of America is having a supply chain crisis; but running out of baby formula makes me upset! Running out of paper towels is one thing; but not foreseeing a baby formula outage is totally unacceptable! Regardless of what political affiliation is responsible for this situation ; elected politicians need to be held accountable!

I wood not advice taking a massive shit here as the toilet paper was to thin and the water kept splashing on my cute little ass cheeks. I would like an honest and sin apology from this establishment soon please.

This pharmacy leaves me on hold then picks up the phone and hangs up on me without saying a word. This has happened more than once.

I was coming in from being out of town and thought I would check on my prescriptions that my doctor sent in. On your website it said that ambien would be ready in 5 minutes and the clonazapam was being filled. So I decided to go by and pick them up. I get to the lady at the register and ask if they had. My 2 prescriptions. She was extremely nice. She looked and said that I have one ready and then said she didn't see another one. I showed her what was on their web page. When I looked this time it said canceled call the pharmacy?? So while this nice lady was checking the prescriptions, the pharmacist looked at me and said "WE DON'T HAVE IT THAT'S ALL WE CAN DO" extremely rude! So I call my doctor and he said he definitely sent them and they should have both. I made the mistake of telling them that he definitely sent them in. Then what I thought was the rudest person in the world overheard me saying that and again turned to look at me put her hands on her hips and said "WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND WE DON'T HAVE IT!!" So I went to my doctors office and he gave me a copy of both prescriptions ON THE SAME PAGE AND WHAT TIME THEY WERE SENT AND WALLGREENS SHOWED THEY RECEIVED THEM. I'm furious by now and thought since I had proof and had the prescriptions in my hand I would finally be able to get my prescription. NOPE she wouldn't even look at what I had. SHE GETTING LOUD THIS TIME SAID "LOOK WE'RE DEALING WITH COMPUTERS AND THAT WITHOUT A NEW PRESCRIPTION SHE WASN'T GOING TO FILL ANY PRESCRIPTION"
So first I knew she had gotten both because on the website again it said prescription being filled and later said canceled call the pharmacy.
Then I didn't think about it but both were on the same page and that's what the copy.
Again this was a short lady with glasses and a little heavy.
I worked with dealing with the public for 38 years. The last 11 years I traveled over 4 states visiting stores but my focus was always on customer service and skills dealing with the customers. I did seminars somewhere in each area dealing with customer service skills.
The customer is not always right but you have to make them feel like they are "if" you want to keep them as a customer.
This woman has (0) zero customer skills. For her to be so arrogant without trying to really help me was probably the worst person I have ever seen dealing with a customer by far.
I used to use wallgreens years ago but at that time I and dozens more left because of the time we had to wait in line to get our prescriptions. I knew things were bad because a pharmacist asked me to call the 800 number and complaine. So I started getting my prescriptions somewhere else. Then I came back to wallgreens 3 or 4 years ago and everything has been great. If the line starts getting long people come back to help. I'm not sure if this extremely rude person works there all the time because I have never seen her before. If so she will hurt your business if she's asked to help with anything.

Every poor service!!!! Called about my prescription and they said about an hour it will be ready. About two hours later I shown up, it wasn't ready and they said 15 minutes it will be ready. They call my name and I had to wait in line again.

Horrible customer service. Horrible attitudes. Called corporate and they're even worse! Ordered canvas prints on 12/27. Were supposed to be ready same day by 7:15 pm. They were not. Went back on 12/28 at 2:30 and they still were not ready. Finally get them home and both the canvas print were messed up in several places. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Ny complaints about the pharmacy in this store are to many to mention.Every time I call or go the this location,it's a problem.I seriously want my mother to stop having her prescriptions sent to walgreens.
