Waffle Cone

All I can say is woot woot and then the tear drop because Waffle Cone is not in Chicago.
Their ice cream is so good and I was so happy when my son took me twice on my visit to see him and his family.
I mean I have had some good ice cream before but this was some GREAT ice cream trust me.
The ice cream shop has so many nostalgic items on the walls that it was just fun to be there and look at them as I ate my ice cream.
I meant to ask the owner why they had dollar bills on the ceiling but it was an awesome kind of quirk that just made the visit more fun.
I wish you could mail ice cream because I would ask my son to do that from Texas to Chicago.
The employees as well as the owner was very nice and made you feel at home. How can you not smile when you have that sweet cold treat on a hot Texas day? I know I smiled.
If you are in the area or you never been I say "Go Experience the Goodness!"
If I get back to Texas that is one of the first places I want to go back too for sure.

Service with a smile! Delicious ice cream and plenty of patches to go through while savoring my sweet treat. Some I either remembered or just knew while others I wasn't sure about or had never seen before (the patches that is). My partner in crime and I were on a drive and had a craving for some kind of ice cream concoction and the Waffle Cone came up on the radar. I'm happy we stopped by!

Great place to go with my family. Not much more expensive than a DQ and a very different kind of ice cream. Love the custom waffle cones and bowls.

Sad that the shaved ice is seasonal, but I get how it might not be profitable. So good though!

Can't say enough great things about The Waffle Cone! Been going there since right after they opened! Service is always great! Do wish they had more sugar-free ice cream choices. The ambiance is awesome! Love all the comics and soda fountain feel!

Great ice cream and has an endearing local, small town feel. We've been several times and their ice cream selection is always enough to keep us coming back.

Good ice cream even on a cold day. Many popular flavors and new ones. The service is quite friendly. The atmosphere is fun, bright, and full of cheer. If the weather is nice the outdoor picnic table makes an enjoyable treat more enjoyable.

Love going into this ice cream shop with my little one. The owner really connects with the area and has great events like story time with Santa each year

Pretty good ice cream! The server was nice and the atmosphere felt homey. I got the cookie dough flavor and it was *chefs kiss*.
