This was my first time going to this salon and I had a very good experience! Lauren was great and listened to what I wanted for my hair. She asked about what products I was already using and what my normal hair routine was and offered some great tips. She double-checked her work, which I appreciated and was really fun to talk to.

Overall, the salon is very clean and everyone working there was really nice. I was greeted upon arrival and they even offered water/coffee! Parking is a little weird, but I parked across the street with no problems. I'll definitely be getting my hair done by Lauren in the future! If you're looking for a new salon, try this one :)

I went in for a simple haircut and received 5 star treatment! Gwen is an incredible stylist. She and her team went out of their way to teach me styling techniques and hair care (I am a low-maintenance hair novice). I learned so much and I love how my hair looks and feels. I will be a repeat client!

I've been going here for a few years now and I've never had a bad experience. The place is clean and the staff is helpful and professional. Megan has been cutting my hair for a few years now and every time I'd want to try something new she would be so patient and open while I'm trying to explain what I was going for. Even if the place were less stellar, I'd go here because of Megan but it's nice that the level of quality and service hasn't dipped at all in the years I've been going here. Highly recommend.

I previously had a pretty good experience at Vivid. When I came back about 5 weeks later for the same service, without telling me in advance, they had raised the price by 45%!
I was shocked and asked what happened. They said the owner reviewed local prices and just decided that it was justified. Don't you think previous customers, who had been paying the original price should have been notified?
I don't plan on going back.

Got the worst haircut of my life from Lauren. Another stylist was kind enough to fix it. Lauren forgot to set the clipper setting and shaved a big chunk on my side. She reacted with laughter and then continued on saying that 1 and 0 looked the same. It went downhill from there and she messed up more. It became so bad that she eventually gave up and asked another stylist to fix it. While I kept asking her to do whatever she can, she became super defensive and acted as if everything was fine. What a horrible experience. It literally takes 5-10 min to cut my hair.

I can't say enough lovely things about Britany.  I am new to the area and looking for a new stylist is pretty daunting.  I immediately felt at ease upon meeting her, she's got a great energy.  She was super skilled and meticulous working on my highlights.  I LOVE my hair!

I needed a quick bang trim before a trip out of town and when I called Vivid, the receptionist was super friendly and was able to fit me in a short time frame. Thank you!

From when I walked in, they make sure you are sanitized and temperature checked before you get to sign in. Once you have signed up and affirm that you have not been exposed to covid19, they then give you an apron to wear and then show you to your chair.

My hairstylist was Megan and she was efficient and nice. My bang trim only took about 7 minutes or less and only cost me 8$. Not bad. I'll definitely go back to get my hair trimmed her again. :)

At the age of 37, I finally decided to pamper myself for the first time by getting my hair cut and eyebrows waxed at an actual salon.  Brittany was simply amazing and got very excited when I mentioned needing to go blonde for a convention next year, providing the pandemic allows such things.

The job she did on my eyebrows still looks amazing, even more than a month later.  As god as my witness, I shall never pluck again!

My haircut turned out even better than I expected, and since my hair grows fast, I'll be needing to book another appointment soon.

Their covid measures made me feel incredibly safe, from waiting in my car until Brittany was ready, to everyone wearing their masks properly, I never felt at risk.

I highly recommend this place for anyone new to the salon experience! It was an absolute pleasure!

Megan is the greatest of all time! Have been coming to her for over five years, followed her to vivid from previous salon and have even traveled back from Florida for her! Easy process, she always gets it right. I've never once left her chair feeling unsatisfied with my hair. She is so sweet and professional. The rest of the staff here are just as nice. Highly recommend!

Was looking forward to having my hair cut and get a light brown balayage after 2 years of not going to a salon bc of Covid. Scheduled an appt with Michelle (Decatur) at 10:30am Sat. Got to the salon at 10:15am. 11:00am roles by, there are two women chatting at the front desk, no one bothers to say peep. 11:15 roles bc, now 45 min late. Michelle was cutting a guys hair this whole time, and finally they're done and the guy walks up to the desk with an upset look  n his face. I look at his hair and I understand why. Michelle looks my way, and doesn't even bother saying "I'm so sorry I'm late, I'll be with you shortly", not even a hi. Just a sour look. I thought ok, this is already a bad experience, the guys hair was poorly cut, she has a bad attitude and I don't want to stick around anymore. Very poor customer service. Don't go to this place. You'll thank me.
