Couldn't have asked for more! We absolutely loved working with them and getting their recommendations. My mom also got a qipao from them for our wedding!

I cannot recommend Vinshop enough!! Anna and Peter are both so kind and wonderful. My mom, sister-in-law, and I were shopping in California in August for a qipao for my tea ceremony. We went to a few places before Vinshop and were not impressed by the businesses and the people. When we made our appointment, we were welcomed by Anna and Peter and they were very friendly. They helped us all find qipaos. And since we are from Arizona, Anna offered to alter our dresses in a matter of hours so we could pick it up later that evening. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and helped us pick out exactly what we wanted. They had a really good selection and everything was made with exceptional quality. Please support this small business!

Found this place on yelp, but was unsure if I should try it because it's located in the owners' garage. But another bride recommended it, and I'm glad I took her suggestion. Husband and wife team work together to find your perfect cheongsam, and they are so sweet. I did take my mom just to make sure nothing was lost in translation, but they understood all my requests in English. They have a large selection of gowns, and helped pick out the fabric and cut of the gown, as well as did some customizations for me. When I went to pick up the dress, it needed some alterations and they had it done the same day. I can't wait to wear it, and it was a quick but nice experience for me and my mom. They also have some men's jackets. Only con is the price, but you are paying for skill and not an amazon delivery.

Was a little disappointed with the first interaction I had with them. I am the bride to be and was very curious to see this spot - since it had great reviews and was somewhat nearby. So I took my parents here and when we first came into the residential area, we were confused on where the exact location was so I called them and the male owner picked up and reassured me it was in their house. So I went in and was met upon the female owner there. We had booked an appointment around 12 and due to us not able to fully find the place, we were late (so our fault's on our end for this portion). However, I did not like that they were very dismissive from their tones. We were just curious about the pricing and they quoted us at $1500-2000 per dress, which was a very big gap from what we had seen from previous stores. So my mom who spoke Cantonese as well just said to them that it seemed very expensive for a one time use and that we had previously seen qipaos for cheaper, such as the one my sister had at her wedding. I understand that each small business owner can charge their own price for their goods, so that was of no issue for me. However, I did not appreciate the male owner's tone by saying "then why don't you wear your sister's then". It just felt very harsh and dismissive and I wished they could've just said this is what they charge for their qipaos. I understand minimal Cantonese but I could tell their tone was harsher than my relatives and other business owners.

Afterwards, we just felt super awkward and just wasn't sure how to react. So we just carried on and just had an open mind to still look around, since we wanted to see if there were options. We didn't want to hold back. So I saw one was that very nice and said "is it okay if I try this one?" But the male owner was like "it is too inconvenient to untie this for you to try". How is that okay to say to someone and assume? :( I just wish they were more open-minded as well even though we did have a budget in mind.

After our interactions, we just felt very hesitant and wanted to leave and said our goodbyes with respect and asked for a card and they handed it to us. When we asked who to call if we were interested, they immediately were saying "don't call - just make an appointment". Overall, this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. We went to another place immediately and had a VERY different experience there. I would be very cautious for the next person coming to Vinshop USA and I truly hope the owners change their attitudes.

Ladies, if you're looking for a qi pao... look no further! Vinshop is a small business run by the kindest old couple. They operate from their home, and there is a private fitting room for you to change. Due to Covid-19, you may only bring one guest, but call them for confirmation.

All dresses are HAND MADE & can be tailored. The stylist is extremely gifted; the inventory ranges from modest, traditional dresses to flashy, modern ones. You'll definitely find what you need. They can even make matching ties with the silk fabric used for the dresses! Get you and your boo rightttt ya feel me!!

Look how good Vinshop made us look! Such a memorable experience I got to share with my family and the owners. They started taking out my dress after I bought my dress. If all goes well I won't need alterations for my upcoming wedding. With my purchase, alterations were included. I had no idea where to begin my search for a qipao, so thankful I found Vinshop USA on Yelp. They've been in the community for years after moving a couple locations.

The ownership was so kind and funny I really enjoyed them. I will come back for my next special event and encourage my friends and family to make an appointment online to support the business

This place is legit the best dress makers ever! They worked with me and my manic energy really well and they totally delivered on all of the items. In these pictures they made every single outfit! From my sisters dresses to mine my moms and my husband. Since my husband and I are getting married 3 times this year I am totally coming back!!! Love this place!! I needed a qi pao/cheung sam for a special event. I found Anna and her husband, Peter, and their Vinshop on Yelp. I had looked at other places but found the other stores rather rude. But Anna was so nice and helped me pick out fabric and border details for my dress. Let me just say, Anna knows what she is doing! She has been making qi pao for decades and the quality of her work shows it. She was so patient with me while ordering my dress. She measured me and the dress fit me like a glove, with no further alterations necessary. I went to this event and people i didn't even know stopped me to say how glamorous i looked and how beautiful my dress was. We also had a tie and handkerchief made for husband from the same material as my dress. If you are looking for a qi pao, i highly recommend you go see Anna!
