Just wow. We had attended the wine bingo and were super excited. It was $20 a person and advertised on the event page as "wine, prizes, gift cards." We got there and though it was from 6-9, it didn't start until 7. We ordered our food and after an hour it didn't come so we cancelled it. As did many others. One of the other parties at our table had plastic in their food. The owner, Tara was all over the place. Yelling, racing around, going too fast. I was absolutley BLOWN away when my mom won a round and was given an EMPTY bottle of wine. My mom had tried to talk with her about it but she gave an answer and walked away.
I talked to the other nice gentleman who was the owners boyfriend who said he wanted to make it right, he approached her to talk about our concerns about the empty bottle of wine and she shot him down. After an hour we left. In my opinion, they falsely advertised this to bring in money. Other people won these cheap painted glasses that I have seen at the dollar store. With the amount of filled tables and rate, they easily made $800 without food and drinks ordered. It was extremely insulting that they gave out such shitty cheap prizes, which were paper bags with one glass in them.
I have been there myself holding fundraisers and bingos where you are in over your head, understaffed and overwhelmed, so I can sympathize. However, there is no excuse for horrible service and blatantly insulting your guests with false ideas of wine and other prizes.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Siobhan P.Schwenksville, PA02Mar 31, 2017
We visited the wine cellar about a year ago and had an excellent experience while sitting at the bar. The bartender was welcoming, friendly, and excited to have us as patrons. Today, we had a terrible experience. We were greeted by a bitter-faced bartender, who seemed annoyed that we did not have a reservation in a completely empty restaurant. I was served sangria, which was horrible, then proceeded to politely order a different glass of wine. The bartender didn't respond initially, just stood there staring at us with her chin in her hand, leaning on the bar. "Oh, you didn't like our sangria? Have you never had a wine sangria before?"
Then we unfortunately ordered food. Thank goodness it was only a charcuterie and cheese plate, because I couldn't stand to be there any longer. We were not provided with napkins or silverware. We asked for at least a knife, thinking that would have been a rip off that we needed table settings, and were given ONE knife (no napkin or fork). When we asked the bitter-faced bartender for napkins, she complained that the wait staff didn't provide it to us. Then we asked her for forks, and she complained again about the wait staff. The excuses and blame game were not appropriate and were extremely unprofessional.
This woman should NOT work in the restaurant business if she cannot greet and treat customers with class. She's killing this business. What a shame.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Drew D.Conshohocken, PA204119116Oct 7, 2016
I was so excited to score a 7 o'clock reservation (through Yelp) for 2 at this place. I found childcare, fought for parking during winefest/first Friday, and was ready to eat and drink! We got there, waited for a hostess, and nothing happened. I asked the person serving wine for the hostess. She then informed me the restaurant is closed and there was no food, just the wine tasting. Actually, when I told her I made reservations she said, "Great." Not apologetic, just over life and that shitty establishment.

First and last stop on our Winetober festival outing. Their blush they offer is very good ! Sweet, yet not overly sweet. After making our rounds through the festival, we decided to eat here too before leaving, and what a great decision that was.
The food is very reasonably priced! A cheese board for $12??? Yes please! And you pick from a wide selection of cheeses, meats and accompaniments.
With each dish on the menu, a wine suggestion is offered. How great is that? They also have some off menu items (with good reason, probably doesn't pair well with wine.) We ordered a cheesesteak for only $3.50. Not the best I've ever had, but at $3.50 it was well worth it.
I had the lobster ravioli, which was decent. For $16, you get 4 pieces. So if that's not going to fill you up, order something in addition. My friend ordered the filet, which came out just ok the second time. We had to send the first one back because it was pretty much medium well when we ordered medium rare. Waitress was completely understanding and even offered to send it back. It was cooked accurately the second time, but I don't remember how well the flavor was. The chef himself came out to make sure it was cooked to our liking.
We had to ask for water twice from our waitress, but not a big deal. It was very busy being Winetober fest, and our waitress was very nice and sweet.
This place is well out of my way, so I wouldn't go out of my way for it. But next time I'm in the area, I would definitely drop by to enjoy a bottle of vino and the cheese board.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We were unaware that the wine bar actually had a substantial menu so we grabbed lunch at a nearby pizza. The service was excellent and warrants the four stars. Like most breweries and wineries, you find some drinks that you like and some that don't please your pallet. With 8 samples for $10, you are sure to find at least 2 that you will enjoy.

I'm not really understanding the other reviews here. I came here after Winetober Festival for some snacks and it was good. I tried the bruschetta and the charcuterie plate and both were tasty. Another table actually recommended us to try the charcuterie plate and I'm glad we did. Our server was fast, friendly and helpful when it came to the best wine selections that go best with our food.

Was really excited to try this place, and had a girls
night out this past weekend. The porch ambiance was cute. I would have suggested some music being pumped in tho. We ordered the hummus, the Charcuterie tray and flatbread all which were really good. I was a little disappointed that they did not have all the wines listed on the menu. Would have enjoyed sampling more than what we were able to. The Cabernet Franc was excellent. We were also treated to an awesome pineapple mojito, which was super tasty. The billing at the end was a little chaotic but they assured us they were in the process of upgrading their system. I'm sure we will go back again, but hope they have more reds stocked up :)
*** Just found out our friend was charged twice for her bill. Be sure to double check your bank account after dining. Oops.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Julie S.Collegeville, PA16628Nov 21, 2015
I can't say I am surprised by the other reviews. Tapas items were fine but not great. The provided pita were actually flat bread crackers and not nearly enough for the items the accompanied. Asked for more and received regular crackers (you know, Carr brand). Shrimp was waterlogged so it must have been the frozen kind thawed out. Salads lacked toppings considering $12 price tag.
Wine was really good, although I felt the sangria was a measly pour and much more economical to get an actual glass of wine.
Really wanted to love this place. Really didn't. It could be something special but it needs a little more work.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

My mom and I stopped in this weekend during Skippack Fest and were really impressed. The drinks, food, and service were great! I would recommend the spinach dip and raspberry cosmo. The only downside was that the wait for our food was a little long, but nothing crazy. We will definitely be back!
