We went here on 10/19/19 while visiting The Boy at college. This is a decent, locally owned diner. Burgers, sandwiches, and comfort food are the things you can get here; breakfast all day, too. We walked in and there was no "Wait To Be Seated" sign, so I picked a table and we sat down. We were shortly greeted by our server and given menus.

My young bride selected the cheeseburger with onion rings, The Boy had the jalapeno burger with sidewinders (beer-battered fries), and I had their "stuffed burger" (A-1, onions, tomatoes, cheese, special spices) and tots.

The place was a bit noisy with contractors re-doing the restrooms, but contractors don't work nights, so whutchyagonnado?

The food arrived in a (somewhat) timely manner, and everything was warm and tasty. The brugers were the good, local-spot, greasy kind of my youth and all of the sides were good, especially the sidewinders. This place will be a return spot.

The waitress was the nicest ever.
The food is not real - the butter has Fresh buttery taste. Contains 48% vegetable oil. The cream contains some milk ingredients. The Kurtz ketchup says no preservatives but has HFCS. And it wasn't that cheap.
The waitress was the nicest ever.

My son and i have eaten here many times just for breakfast. Ive found it to be the cheapest deal in town for breakfast at least. Its not fancy or trendy but its good. I have the ham and cheese omelette always and never been disappointed! Dont know what the one reviewer was complaining about with the cheese. Never got any hInt it was liquid cheese! That would be pretty damn obvious by taste alone! Breakfast should be the cheapest meal of the day not $12-$15 like most places. Eggs are hard to &@@? Up!
I do recommend for breakfast for sure.

Basic and delicious. Stopped in for breakfast. Pancakes covered the ENTIRE plate and French Toast was divine. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Definitely a local hideaway and one we will be back to enjoy.

Have to try the burger next visit!

If I could give it negative stars I would! Dirty from the floor to the tables and their tacky dollar store table cloths to the mismatched dishes to the waitress. The bacon and Cheese Omelet I ordered had a slice of processed cheese in the center. The omelet was not hot enough to melt the cheese. I'm pretty sure the eggs were poured from a carton and had been made earlier and were just warmed up. The hashbrowns came from a bag and were barely reheated. The gravy for my husbands biscuit came from a can and was cold. My eggs and hashbrowns tasted funny so I only ate a four bites. Good thing I didnt eat more! I was sick within 30 minutes of leaving. Do yourself a favor - just keep driving by!

Great local place with great local food. Super thick cut bacon was really good. Be prepared to wait a bit because everything is cooked to order from scratch. Good prices. Good sides, especially the sidewinder fries, and a yummy burger. Friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit here. $7.99 for a burger, fries, and a drink.
