Glad I found this spot, tucked away in the back side of the strip mall.
Ordered the beef rib plate and tritip plate and it was amazing. Beef ribs were meaty, tritip amazing and plates come with garlic bread, salad, corn and choice of baked beans or baked potato.
Will definitely be back to try out their breakfasts and lunch sandwiches and burgers.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 4867101442Dec 1, 2023
This is the first place that popped up when I searched for "coffee" in the area. We dropped in for coffee and found that it was a small cafe/diner on the back side of a strip mall. Seating both indoor and outdoor. The gentlemen inside asked if we'd like a table for two but we mentioned we were just getting coffee to-go. We ordered a latte and a white peppermint mocha. The gal making the drinks was very nice. Overall friendly service and my peppermint mocha was delicious! Would love to come back to try food and pastries next time!

It's been 3 years since my last visit. Today I stopped by for lunch. The staff immediately greeted me and had me take a seat. Drinks and a food menu were provided. Within the last few years they have added sitting area outside and now offer BBQ

The Village Coffee Shop is located in Vandenberg Billage Shopping Center. One must enter through the back side where you will find plenty of parking. The cafe is small and quaint. There is plenty of parking of seating area whether it be insidE or out. The staff are friendly. As one enters you will see a small bar eating area where the cooks are bus making breakfast. The is is my first visit and we ordered to go. The wait time was approximately 15 minutes. The menu assortment is pretty straight forward and prices were reasonable.

The go to place in the village! Love everything on their menu , they're pretty quick with getting your food out as well. The ambience is like a little homey diner lol. Definitely recommend!

Great local food! Love the affordable prices, decent portions & even gluten free options. Love we can sit outside with the dog. Friendly staff and doesn't take too long either.

Arrived late morning before the lunch hour... we were told to sit anywhere and then we sat for over five minutes waiting for a menu. Finally I got up to get menus ourselves.
First we noticed were the flies... flies inside, flies outside, flies crawling on the window glass... layer flies buzzing around our food. Probably the front door wide open which is next to the kitchen is not a good idea for the customers.
Fries tasted funny, as if the frying oil was old and rancid. Our waitress never came back to check on us or to refill our drinks. Overall it's a below average place...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 3 - Jun 3, 2022
This adorable Cafe & BBQ is located at the back of the building, behind the Village Market. Very cozy set up, with a great outdoor seating area that has a giant tent over the tables, keeping everyone safe from the elements, including some wind coverage!!
When entering the building, my party was greeted right away (with big smiles!) and got told we could sit any place we saw open, outside or in! We chose outside for lunchtime, showed up before the lunch-crowd and had a really pleasant experience.
The day we visited, one of the lunch specials they had available was the chicken salad sandwich. They used the REAL BBQ-smoked chicken from their pit mixed with the PERFECT amount of condiments and put on a perfectly-toasted croissant...the absolute most-YUM!
Kiki was our server and sweeter to us than the soda I ordered (which was a deliciously-crisp Coke)! We got fast and amazing service the entire time. The manager, Ronen, came over to our table outside and chatted with us for a little bit, giving us some interesting brief history of the Village Coffee Stop. The entire environment is very welcoming, I highly recommend here as a top choice for lunch in Lompoc!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Robert S.Lompoc, CA02Sep 5, 2023
The sandwiches are spectacular!
Tri-Tip is moist, not dry like most I've had.
The Pommerville? I was blown away! First sandwich I had there! I would have it again and again but, the rest of the menu beckons.
My lovely spouse had the French Dip! The taste I had was moist, even without the Au Jus.
We've eaten at both Hitching Posts and I would put the meat on par with both both. Just that good!
The Wait staff is spot on and very thoughtful.
We've only been to their inside seating. Since I use a wheelchair, once again the staff is thoughtful and gracious.
Do yourself a favor and stop for a meal!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Naomi V.Goleta, CA8131Dec 5, 2023
Went here for breakfast and the food and portions were amazing! Everyone loved the food, pancakes were delicious, so was the French dip and burgers. They have Mickey Mouse pancakes for kids! First we sat outside but the FLIES WERE SO BAD we had to move inside and there were flies inside too but not as bad as outside. The service was great, the staff was nice and friendly, some prices were high and some low just depends, there's something for everyone here. I loved the flavored coffee drinks. Definitely check out this hidden gem, but just bring a fly swatter for the outside!
