Love this place. Local folks involved in roasting locally & supporting their community. They are dog friendly. Bought beans for home brewing & it is amazing coffee.
It's a wee bit of a commute from California but I'll be back someday.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nu S.Manitou Springs, CO8513Jan 31, 2019
I've only been here a handful of times but I do love this place. It is more like a coffee lounge, covered with military memorabilia. The coffee, lattes and the such are are really good. You can find a lot of ol timers here around noon, and some younger bucks like me. Friendly environment that makes you feel at home.
Keep up the good work!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ben T.Colorado Springs, CO020Mar 21, 2019
Veteran Coffee has the best roasts I've found so far in Colorado Springs. Their Milano roast pulls consistent shots with clear zebra stripes and nice crema. It blows out pretty quick in the cup, but that's life with espresso at 6,000+ feet.
More importantly: they're very friendly, kind folks who donate $1 a pound to support local veterans.
Good coffee + a good cause. What could be better?Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stu D.Colorado Springs, CO4712118Jan 30, 2019
I really want this place to succeed. This part of town needs it, and the focus on Vets is great. Owners are friendly and outgoing. But sometimes the service can be really slow, especially when only one employee is working. Took me about 10 minutes to get a cup of the house drop when only 2 other people were in line. Not a crisis, but not a great first impression. But I want them to make it, so I'll keep going!

Hi Stu, thank you very much for your review. Your feedback is vital to our success and so we appreciate it. It is completely unacceptable to have had to wait that long for a cup of coffee, even with only one person working. We do value your loyalty and the service you provide to our community. Hope to see you again soon!

The name fits perfectly, they are Vets and support Vets. So welcoming, great coffee, great prices, so welcoming, friendly and the shop is awesome. The decor is keeping with the theme and there is always something for your eye to check out. We will be back for sure!!

Gimmicky, I saw nothing here for vets. Just another coffee house. Make sure you bring some cash.
I paid 5 bucks for coffee, no service. I asked for creamer. Lady said "we're out", I left a tip but felt cheated out of any service. I looked around, everything was over 6 bucks except the plain coffee.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Julio - Buddy... I don't understand why you feel the need to leave another one star review. Carl opened this morning and he is a big bald man who attends one of the groups we support for at risk veterans... he is not a "Lady" - I came in around 9am, and I am a lady (though some might use the term lightly as I was also an MP) - but I didn't see you come in - we have plenty of creamer - and our Large coffee costs 2.98 cents. All of this lets me know that you were not in our shop at all today. So, Julio... What is your actual issue? We're here to help. Do you need attention? Did someone you love hurt you with coffee?... Or are you just plain ole mean? Let me know how I can address your actual issue, in the meantime, get outside and smell the fresh air. Life is way to short for this. Peace brother.

Best coffee roasters in Colorado Springs (and I have tried them all). Their Milano makes wonderful espresso. The staff is kind and they provide a welcoming atmosphere for veterans as well as donate $1 a pound to support local veterans.
