So since I'm a Vegetarian I love trying Vegan places as well.
Definitely a winner....though I was alone I ordered 2 items just because I wanted to have variety and try....honestly the price was very reasonable for 2 items....
I got the Soyrizo Burrito and the Soy Curl Nachos....
Since I ordered so much and I wanted mainly the flavor I only ate the inside of the burrito it was really good...lots of flavor and tasty....
The Nachos were I believe made there as well...so they weren't as crunchy as I liked...and they put a lot of rice in the meal as well...but overall it was good...
I'd give the place actually 3.5 stars....but since they don't have halves I'll learn to the 4 for Vegan Gorditos!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Charles S.Phoenix, AZ55323729Mar 27, 2019Updated review

And to find a food kart that is Mexican AND vegan, well that just about rocks my world. I wanted sopes they come 2 in an order. But the gentleman taking the order said he would have to deep fry them. I asked him why and he said to me it would take to long to warm them up without deep frying them. So I said what about gorditas and his response was same deal; the gorditas would need to be deep fried. Then he proceeded to inform me that he could make a Jurache without deep frying. So I said ok that's fine. But I'm left scratching my head wondering why couldn't he just warm up the sopes or gorditas the same as the hurache
Then I thought perhaps he has the jurache all ready made and didn't have any of the others made yet. I asked him what he recommended for toppings he said soyriso.. So that's what I got. It comes with beans, soyriso, lettuce, tomatoes, and avocados.
They have a good selection of salsas, that were good. I can't recall which one it was that I fancied but their were 2 of them that got my preference.
The jurache was yummy. The soyriso was tasty. And the corn masa warm and heated up just rite. I literally scarfed it down in a matter of minutes (burp) that was good! I could probably eat another. But for now ill be fine with just one.
The only thing that's missing is some fresh raw radishes, onions and perhaps a green salad.
I guess I could bring those things with me and enjoy it all on the picnic tables. Or just take it home and make a whole meal of it.
They put the salsa in those plastic ketchup squirt bottles. :( frown. I see this more and more. But I wish restaurants and food karts would stop using these. Plastic and any thing hot or acidic do not go well together.
For that reason and also for the fact that the food is pricey I'm leaving off one star. - Amanda T.Columbia, SC13864105May 27, 2018
AN ALL VEGAN FOOD TRUCK . I mean, I love not having to sift through the menu to see what I can eat. I've only been here once and we tried all of their tacos and they were all delicious. I love that it's next to a vegan coffee shop and grocery store. I just moved here from Florida and so this is a luxury to me. Their salsa was good and the gentleman working was nice. I feel like everything was a good price too. I recommend their soyizo tacos!

Vegan Mexican, yes!
I ordered the nachos with soy chorizo and they were amazing! They had beans, rice, ordered cheese, sour cream, avocado, tomato and jalapenos on them...all vegan. The portion was huge and I couldn't finish it all.
The woman working was very nice and very quick with her orders.
This is cash only, so make sure you have bills y'all.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Haley Z.Portland, OR046Nov 30, 2018
This place is amazing! I'm not even vegan and I'm in love with their food. I cash my checks at the chase next store and buy lunch here any chance I get. I get the Chile Relleno burrito and it's huge. 2 meals in one. Also make sure you try the red sauce. Its so good I wish I could buy it in large amounts . I'd put that crap on everything. I smother my burrito in it.
Will definitely continue to come back to this place.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Natasha D.Portland, OR0123Sep 4, 2018
It tastes good mostly. The soy curls added to the bean/rice burrito was a salt bomb and my burrito was leaking oil out of the bottom which was disappointing. The green sauce makes up for the salt though. I'm allergic to onions and whenever we would order nachos they would almost always forget to take them off after asking and bringing it back over 4 different times.

Great vegan Mexican food at a great price. The salsas are some of the best in town. AND conveniently located next to Jet Black vegan coffee shop & Food Fight vegan grocery store.
