US Post Office

2/5 stars! The Post Office, why must you be so frustrating?! Long lines, slow service, and a general air of inefficiency make visiting you a chore. The staff seems overwhelmed and unfriendly, and don't even get me started on the lack of parking. I've spent too many precious minutes of my life waiting for you to sort and send my packages. Can't you just get it together?! I guess I'll keep coming back out of necessity, but I won't be happy about it.

This place seriously sucks. The absolute worst of all time. I really don't understand how this particular post office can be so terrible. My condo complex routinely has issues with mail and packages being lost/mishandled by this post office. I regularly receive my neighbors' mail, and they receive ours. Lost packages are the norm. The issues with this post office have become so frequent that I will actively drive out of my way to take my outgoing mail to a different post office because this one is so unreliable. At this point, I anticipate any package shipped to my home address via USPS will be lost. If I am expecting anything to be delivered by USPS, I will try use a different shipping address so that it is not handled by this particular post office. I have lived in many different places in San Diego, and never had problems with USPS until moving into my current residence. We never have issues with any other delivery carriers like FedEx, UPS, etc.

The packages that do manage to be successfully delivered are always in rough shape, with holes, rips, and tears in the packaging. The most idiotic thing my mail carrier ever did was decide to SMASH my save the dates for my wedding into my tiny mailbox instead of placing it in the parcel locker like someone with common sense would. Every single one of them was ruined. I've seen packages carelessly left on the ground when they were too big to fit in the mailbox. The mail carriers just don't give a damn.

And then there's the attitudes of the staff working at this post office. First of all, this post office is always crowded, with long lines and workers who are in no rush to keep the line moving. When you finally get to the front of the line, the workers are not helpful at all, and there is an 80% chance they'll make you wait in another long line to speak to a manager for something simple. After multiple interactions with my local mail carriers and the staff working inside the post office, most have been rude, incompetent, and indifferent. My experience in other post offices are nowhere near as awful as it is coming here. Just go to a different post office if you can, and hopefully your address doesn't get mail delivered from this one.

Linda Post Office 92111 is the worse post office in the 47 years we have lived here. We have lived in 6 different areas of San Diego. The current Supervisor is no help except to tell me I had been given the only mail that was held for us for a month after going there 1/30 & 1/31.
He has not a clue what's going on. He said we had no packages or any outstanding mail. On February 1there was a miracle! I went to our box and needed a wagon to collect all my delivered packages and outstanding mail.
Do not have this Post Office hold your mail and avoid it if you can. while I waited for him to check again there were 12 people in line and one clerk while the other one was busy decorating for Valentines Day.

I've been coming to this location for a couple years now and have had good experiences. Today I went in, and the cashier April clearly had a bad day and took it out on me. She belittled me and disrespected me the entire time I was in the store. I wasn't ready with the addresses because they were in my phone, so I asked her if I could buy the tape and leave the register to take my own time. She would not allow me to. She told me it was my fault for not being ready, but I just wanted to take my time by myself and not be judged right in front of her. I just wanted to take my time by myself and she made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I bought the tape and left immediately. I guess it's my fault for wearing a baggy sweatshirt and leggings today. She probably thought I was a thief. She treated me like one. Next time I'll do my makeup and dress nicely on my one day off I have a week. I will be using a different location moving forward. I don't want to feel belittled when I go into a business. April is not kind. I work in customer service and would never treat someone this way. April, if you're reading this: don't take out your bad day on customers, you don't know what they are going through.

This is the worst post office of any in the country. If all the post offices were eliminated this would still be the worst.

There is one reason. Her name begins with a BL and ends with a ANCA. That's right...she's Blanca, ladies and gentlemen. Her claim to fame is that she shows no shame. It's like she wakes up in the morning trying to be the Post Office Terminator. "Must seek out happy customers and destroy their lives"
I cannot tell you how many times I've gone into this post office and hoped I would get someone other than her...someone pleasant...someone that loves meeting people and providing great service. Nope...it's always her and she is as mean spirited as they come.
I wish the Post Master General would just grant her early retirement and put us all out of our misery.
Until then, do yourself a favor and seek out another post office.

Called about my missing packages and a gentleman answered the phone and was extremely helpful. Said I could come through and pick them up without a problem. Apparently my whole apartment complex's building mail got held due to broken mailboxes.

I get here and immediately the lady at the front named Blanca is rude and dismissive!!! I told her about the mailbox issue and how a whole building's mail is being held at this location and she said rudely I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. She gave me some additional backhanded responses and told me to wait to the side. This lady is the worst. Can't believe some people are so miserable they exist solely to make others miserable.

Giving an additional star only for the guy who answered the phone smh.

This review is long overdue. I've been coming to this post office for years. Just wanted to thank Blanca for her caring, outstanding customer service. She makes my day every time she waits on me..

The 'service' is horrible. We put mail out to be picked up a 9 a.m. and it was not. Checked with neighbors and THEY got mail, but we did not. I take care of a neighbor's house when they are out of town, and they get a 'mail hold' order. Unless they actually TAPE the actual order inside their box, the idiots keep delivering the mail. Lousy management and NO service.

Save yourself the trouble and don't go to USPS. Specifically avoid Blanca, she put in the incorrect address after I had confirmed the correct one which resulted in my package lost. Not only that, she decided to leave the return address completely blank after I had given her the return address I wanted on the shipping label. She's rude, dismissive, and malicious when dealing with customers. There are plenty of bad reviews on her for a reason, but USPS decides to do nothing about it.

I go out of my way and drive additional miles to another location JUST TO SPECIFICALLY AVOID BLANCA. she is the worst and makes you feel like you're the dumbest person in the world. I wanted to ship a package to Turkey, she looked very very annoyed and said I had to fill out a customs form, I asked for a pen and she rolled her eyes and said she doesn't have one. Luckily a very nice lady who was in line let me borrow her pen. Once I had the forms filled out I got back in line and hoped to god that I wouldn't get BLANCA again. Nope. I got her again and again she was very annoyed with the fact that the address in Turkey was in Turkish. Like no shit Sherlock. She proceeded to scoff and shake her head and she tried to read the words I even spelled them out for her. She messed up putting on the mailing package and said I don't know if it's going to get there because the sticker is folded. I asked her if she could just print another one and stick that on top of the poor job she did with the first one. She said no and that she would have to charge me again for the new shipping label as if it was MY FAULT for not sticking it on there properly when SHE was the one who did it! Seriously! Stop working there lady!!!! BLANCA IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH ANYTHING EVER
