US Post Office

I wouldn't normally leave a review on the post office but I feel compelled to share a positive experience I recently had. After a not great experience (for a few reasons part of which was both of my young child were having meltdowns) at the Smyrna location the day before I reluctantly tried and with the Church St Murfreesboro location the next day since I never actually completed sending the packages I had hoped to.

Tuesday morning 4/16 around 9 am

There was no line (instant relief since I had 2 kids under 2 with me). George waved me over to his register area. He provided excellent customer service. He was friendly and offered a very helpful solution. He was also quick and efficient too which was much appreciated.

the old lady, mary ann she was very weird to me i am an asian she seems to be a racist and i got anxiety when she was assisting me plz check the cameras too on 20 feb 2024 she is very wierd lady. Dont go to her not helpful i have to send 3 packages and she judged me for all those things .
My day was bad because i went in the morning to post something for my loved ones and then i have to go to doctor to check my blood pressure because she was ridiculous.

Is it so hard to drive down my driveway and leave a package by the garage door?? you have delivered the same package to me for months... sometimes by the door, once the worker just chucked it out the window... today, they didn't even try to deliver it- just stuck a note in my mailbox.

It is Sunday 2/26/23 I went to send off several items most in envelopes and one box ! But no you had locked the package shoot why I understand collection times but still let people put packages to send to drop them off !

Reached out to me personally to resolve my issue thank you to the kind staff and management.

They marked my address as vacant on an important package. I've received mail here many times. It's not vacant and now it's Thursday and they said they need 3 business days to get to the issue. Use UPS.

Every time I go here I always get greater w a smile! Super helpful, I've gotta tips on sending, packaging tips, sometimes there is a line but it move quickly.

This post office has not delivered Amazon packages on more than one occasion. Their delivery confirmation says that they did however they have not. After complaining to the post office the packages so far have been found. The latest package has not been yet. Very poor service.

It's the US Postal Service, so you have to lose a star just for that. If you have to deal with them (necessary evil), this isn't such a bad post office to visit. Sure, it's old and a little run down, but some folks call that character.

Most days if you have to head to the counter, expect a fairly decent wait. The staff trudges along at a leisurely pace, but when you do finally make it to the counter it's usually a pleasant albeit extended experience.

This location also has a APC (automated postal center) machine, so if you simply need to purchase postage or things such as certified mail, you can skip the counter altogether.

I know the pace of life is slower here in TN compared to CA but jeez how hard is it to deliver packages on time? I had a shipment from Amazon due the 8th and received a notice that the USPS couldn't deliver because they couldn't reach our front door. They did deliver the light packages from the shipment by putting them on the front porch. Amazon got a new delivery date of the 9th. Here it is the 10th and Amazon has given me a new delivery date of the 12th. They are either lazy or they lost/damaged shipment. Amazon 5 stars USPS 0 stars.
