Breathtaking new theater for all! Our Off-Broadway stage champions diverse stories and up-and-coming artists while keeping ticket prices low (or even free) for you. Additionally, we give other performing groups and companies a home by renting out our theater at fair market prices.

This a cute, little off-Broadway theater. The production I saw was only so-so but the theater is a quaint little find. It's very, very convenient to get to if Penn Station is your entry point into the city.
I would definitely keep abreast of their upcoming schedule.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 10, 2019
I had a wonderful time watching my cuzzo in The Death of a Cab Driver!
Regardless of my bias, I have been to this theatre years back and have never left under whelmed. The Artistic Director curates experiences that go beyond the stage, past the audience and through time!
My experience at Urban Stage was so awesome because of each piece that makes this machine work. From my friend at the front desk (shoutout to Disnie); to the Director who made sure everyone was taken care of, and, I can't forget, an extremely well known peace activist, who is forever apart of this nations history.
This not for profit , off broadway theatre company has two main productions during the spring and fall, and offers a theatre camp where youth produce and perform their own plays.....WINNING!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Justin L.Brooklyn, NY237173811Jan 19, 2012First to Review

Small theater on 30th street close to 8th Ave. they present many new plays in a very intimate setting. All seats have good views. Theater mgmt is very friendly and they make you feel very at home here. Great place to view a show.

Cute little not-for-profit theater. Got tickets for Honky after seeing the review in the nytimes. The theater itself is pretty small(holds ~75) but the stadium seating makes for no problems viewing the stage from wherever you end up sitting.

Nice theatre for a good show without dropping $200. Harry's, around the corner, is perfect for a post-production beer.
