9/24/2019This review changed its scores today Wed 25th, thanks to the late night Clerk at the pick Up center. Her service was a 5 Stars service.
DRIVERS & MANAGEMENT still 0 Stars.
After all the bad experience with the drivers and UPS mistake and supervisors not communicating properly with the drivers about where to find the door bells in the hallway of my building, she had handle the pick up great. With smile and professionalism. Informed me on what I had to bring as ID, bills, etc for the pick up and really was on top of everything and knew exactly which driver was back.
With that said, I still had to take two Uber Rides adding extra not necessary costs to an already expensive item, just to pick up the package. And because she had too look extra hard for the item since the item wasn't put back properly by the drivers. Again: supervisors definitely need to train the drivers better!!!
Previous bad experience started this past weekend where I rated them 1 star and stated that I'd had rated them zero or even -5stars if it was possible.
So Stayed home all day Friday. Got a msg that I missed the delivery. How?! I was home all day. Smh. I found out that the driver didn't rung the door bell and didn't even try to enter the hallway. He left the note outside, right next to our building note that said: UPS if you aren't sure. push the door. The door bell are inside.
After hour on the phone, supervisor stated that he can see my note from outside the building and will inform his drivers, but they can't deliver till Monday.
Monday 23rd comes. They told me the package will come around Noon. Since ups my choose won't work, this means it could be 4 hours before noon or four hours after I've been told. My husband spent 9 hours 8am till 5pm to wait for the package. This time they enter the door and ring the bell, but at the wrong time. Cuz they stepped by 7:15pm when no one was home.
Seen that they left the note inside the hallway I'm now happy that tmrw I can just relax at home and they will ring the bell. I'm tired of arguing with them so I spend the ALL DAY AT HOME. Which is kind of an acceptable as a service, but whatever.
At 8pm I call the costumer service cuz the package isn't there yet and online it said package is on transit. I'm reassured that the package will be delivered that and that they understand my frustrations, but they have all the notes for the driver. Well guess what: I hung up AND at 8:15pm the package was not delivered, but they said they missed me. How? I'm home? I run downstairs: AGAIN, the driver NEVER entered the hallway or ring the bell and just left a lot outside. Mind that I REPLACED the light bulb outside so the note on the door could be even more visible. SMH.
Comes Wed25th. The supervisors apologize and mentioned that they are gonna make another attempt instead of returning the items because of their mistakes. She said that based on the history and route I should expect the package between 6-8pm... NOPE, package was missed again, they run the door bell at 3pm?! But how? How many times?! I'm home, doorbell work. And yet didn't heard anyone ringing the door. At least this time they left the note inside the hallway and were instructed properly. I ended up wasting more money to go to the center.
Long story short. Don't use UPS unless you have to. Amazon keep using them and so Apple. 3 weeks ago they left a package outside the door. NOT in the hallway and content was stolen.
If you really have to use them. Be ready for picking up at their center. It's faster or you will be loosing days waiting for them. And at least you are dealing with the sweat lady at the night pick up center, the other lines are awful.
Unless you have a doorman OR ring bell are clearly visible, don't even bother with UPS. Especially this particular center. Every time a package has been sent from here there has been so many problems. - Ashley M.Commack, NY05
8/27/2021They hold this location for orientation. I don't understand why. Bob is horrible and all the speaks act like there in the military. I'm glad I didn't get the job. DONT WORK HERE

7/14/2021THE WORST. I mean nobody really chooses to have to deal with the UPS Customer Service Center, but why does it have to be such a horrible experience for all involved? On top of being bad at delivering packages, this location is horrible at customer service. I rarely ask to speak to a supervisor, but the employee I was speaking to on the phone was so out of it I had to ask. She claimed she was the manager but wouldn't give her name or a call back number and then hung up on me. Luckily the people at the UPS 800 number are pretty helpful and polite, but there's only so much they can do when the local employees who actually handle the packages seemingly despise their jobs.

10/22/2020I wish I could mention something positive about my experience with the package pick up center in Masbeth. This is my second time having to visit this facility however my first experience was a bit better, not pleasant but better. This time around, I ordered a GoPro. It was shipped on 10/14 for delivery on 10/16. I was leaving town on the 15th so I intercepted the delivery on the 15th and changed the delivery for Tuesday, October 20th......I was charged a fee for the delivery change. I received a notification scan on the 15th in the late evening that my shipment had arrived at this location and also that the change delivery request was received and rescheduled for the 20th. The 20th came, and by 4pm nothing was received. I called UPS and they stated someone would call me from the facility within an hour. They called, said the package was still there, and that it would be delivered on the 21st, since its air package I would receive it by noon. 21st came and noon passed....nothing. I called ups, they again stated someone would call me within an hour from the facility. No one called, so I called UPS back and it was one cycle of we are going to escalate and escalate and escalate each time I called. They stated in the case that the delivery would take place on the 21st, made no attempt to reconcile the fact that I paid for a rescheduled date, and worse....nothing was delivered on the 21. No one could explain to me what was going on with my package, and why it was not delivered on the 20th when I gave them notice of the change four days before the next delivery date to process and deliver.
Today I decided to wake up and check to see if the package showed out for delivery, it did not which meant it would NOT be delivered again today, so I drove to the Masbeth facility and waited until they opened at 9. I picked up my package, aggravated, and late for work.
I received while commuting home delivery notifications and how did we do surveys which I will also complete.
I'm happy to have my shipment but I gave more than enough notice for the delivery change request to be processed, and they also charged me to make the change.
TIP: There is a security guard that will not allow you to park in the few slots that they have before 9:00a.m, there is no public restroom, the name on the package must match the name on the ID. The address on the package must either match your ID or a bill with your name on it must have the address that is on the package. - Rosa C.Flushing, Queens, NY082
6/2/2021One star is generous. This has to be the WORST delivery service. I waited for a time sensitive package for two days straight without moving too far from the door in case someone would knock, only to receive a text from UPS at 9 pm, that apparently no one was home. News to me because I was home the entire day. Rather than knock on my door with the package which weighs 7 ounces, the driver preferred to stick a door tag on the door and drag the box back to the warehouse. Not very bright or maybe there's some sort of incentive for drivers not to make deliveries. Two days of gaslighting. Don't get me started with customer service. It's just as useless. If you're sending a package, do yourself a favor and choose another service. Do not use UPS!

5/24/2021The person working at the pickup desk is deeply unwell. No doubt this is the same person other recent commentors are complaining about. His supervisors put him there because he is a borderline sociopath who has no interest in helping people and shuts down issues rather than resolving them. He is completely exploited by whatever garbage human manages the place.
I am both the shipper and recipient. The recipient address has a typo in the building number. No customer service representative will change it. The online intercept portal won't change it. There is no photo ID with the same name and address because it doesn't exist. UPS has no reliable pathway for me to get my important package (family heirlooms) over a typo. The sick man at the pickup desk refused to retrieve a supervisor. He was hostile and deliberately unhelpful; no one else there would help.
UPS is absolute filth. They abuse and underpay their workers and do not train them. They have no interest in customer service or even quality service. This company is emblematic of everything that is wrong with American business ethos. I will never use them again. - Erika F.Bronx, NY19203
10/11/2020I had a package being delivered to my house. I wasn't home and they did not leave it, which was strange because they normally do. I spoke on the phone to a UPS representative and we discussed the options of either waiting for redelivery the following day or me going to the facility to pick it up that same night. I've been to the facility in Maspeth and let's just say getting it delivered to my house the next day was the better option.
The next day, I'm home all day long since I'm working, and I get a notification that the package has been delivered, but I did not hear the doorbell. The package is not in front of my house but it was signed for by someone, a name I don't recognize.
For whatever reason, the incompetence of this employee led him to deliver it to a CVS access point not far from me. This was not discussed as an option on the phone the night before and I never authorized that.
Put that together with the fact that the CVS employee returned the package to UPS the same day, even though it's supposed to be at the store for 7 days, now I can't reorder my package because it's out of stock.
Between the incompetence of UPS and CVS, I won't have what I need for another 2 weeks. - Colonel John L.Greenwich, CT0182
4/2/2021UPS Customer Service [sic] is absolutely dreadful. It's like stepping into a couple of days spent in one of Fran Kafka's novels of mindless bureaucracy serving no useful purpose but to frustrate, obscure and delay. The only thing nearly as bad is MasterCard's Customer [non] Service. I thought I'd grind the caps off my teeth in impotent rage and frustration. Eventually my daughter drove half across the county to fetch my valuable package

6/9/2021Worst experience ever. Receive a call from the station asking to come pick up my package between 8:00 to 9:30. They called me twice, arrival at 8:10 they said my package hasn't came back yet and they will call me once it's back. I was the last one there until 10:40 they close the door at 9:30 and the guy in the front counter left didn't come back until 10:10 and said the driver is still on the road. I've ask can you call locate or message the driver asking ETA? He said nope he can't. I called customer service at 10:30 asking them to redeliver the package tomorrow and I walked out the door at10:45 once I walked out the lights behind me shuts off... I haven't seen the guy came back even when I knock on the door so many time. Once I walked out the lights behind me shuts off! One start is too much!
