      This place has almost EVERYTHING! You name it, they got it. Name brand cosmetics, hair/nail products, hair accessories, etc. Just like Sephora, you can test out some of the products before you buy. They have a salon (which I have not tried), Benefit Brow bar, store specials, rewards program, and coupons you can print out or come in the mail.
      The only thing I don't like about the coupons are some products are excluded. For instance, I use Bare Minerals and they will not accept coupon for that brand.
      Other than that, staff is helpful and a repeat customer.

      I love Ulta and have a huge problem overspending there. That being said the last 3 times I have been to this location is enough to never make me go to it again. The last two times I was shamed about not having their credit card even though I am diamond. I don't care if I tell you no please respect that. I get they need to ask but I don't need to be berated at the register about how I'm losing money. I was told I spend so much money I should have the credit card. Please don't talk to me about my spending habits.

      Yesterday I literally went in because I had to pee and was thinking about browsing after. Restrooms were closed so I was going to go in the lobby one and come back. But the cashier who was checking out a customer paused to ask me if I couldn't find what I was looking for and stopped checking the person out. It caught me so off guard I was halfway out the store. Of course it was one the employees who got on me for not having an ulta credit card. Plus you were already doing something.

      They are just so aggressive it makes my introverted awkward self never want to step foot in there again.

      I really like that Ulta offers testers for most products- taking some of the guess work out of buying makeup.
      The employees always make the rounds offering assistance!

      I stopped into this Ulta beauty location before picking up some food at Bibibop. This location in Kenwood is surrounded by pretty busy businesses. On a Friday night, I felt like there were several people checking out the stores and that parking lot was packed!

      I usually check out the Ulta beauty in Deerfield TowneCenter, as that is a bit closer to my house. Since I was in the area, I decided to stop in and pick up a few items I needed. What I liked best about this location was that the staff let me browse. Sometimes, I feel like the staff swarms any guest and does not give you any space, as they are looking to sell you something. I did not feel that way in this location. An employee did stop by as I was looking at eyeliner. I asked a question, and she answered. She gave me her advice and told me about a product she would purchase, and then she left. I did not feel like she was pushing any specific product on me, and I appreciated the space to browse.

      I was offered a credit card at the cashier line. I feel like they always do this, and some cashiers are a little pushy... I was asked a few questions after I declined the credit card, but for the most part, I was not hounded.

      If you were looking for a specific items or a place to purchase all beauty products--it's a great spot to peruse. If you are looking for new things to try, I love that Ulta let's you play with make-up or smell the various perfumes. They're a little pricy on some things but I do love that all beauty items are under one roof.

      Average experience--a quick in and out for me!

      Terrible customer service and management has no brain!!!
      My daughter bought a $14 serum from this location and the box was empty. When I went in to explain what happened the rude and inept "manager" told me there was nothing she could do bc I couldn't prove that the box was empty. I could not believe how unhelpful, rude and brainless this "manager" and the other manager in her ear, who refused to come up front handled the situation. I have spent thousands of dollars at Ulta but from now on I will take all my business elsewhere. Customer service is important and acting dumb and unaccommodating in a day and age where brick and mortar stores are closing left and right isn't the best strategy for keeping your job. I have never in my life been so terribly treated by anyone on the retail world. Shame on Ulta for hiring and allowing such inept people to represent the company.

      I was in this Ulta recently to pick up a couple of items that I was running out of and needed. I'm always greeted as soon as I walk in the store and offered help in finding what I need. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful.
      Ulta carries both high-end makeup and low-end makeup. I shop at both Ulta and Sephora. Some things are only available in store at each store and both stores have exclusives. Example, Sephora doesn't carry Morphe or ColourPop and Ulta doesn't carry KatVonD products. Both stores carry Tarte products but only Ulta carries the Tarte Busy Gal Brows. Ulta reward points will let you get money off and Sephora only lets you get trial size products with points. But I'm VIB at Sephora so I get the option of extra items when ordering online and Sephora has much better birthday gifts.
      The reward points system is where I recently had some issues with Ulta, though. My reward points from in store shopping would never post to my account when I checked online. Then the 2x-5x point coupons that were sent to my emails and added to my account would never be added when I shopped in the store. I've tried to get it straighten out multiple times while in the store but to no avail. Finally, after shopping online yesterday and placing an order, I contacted their online customer service. Apparently I have two accounts because my address was wrong on the account that I had signed up for in store. When I initially logged into Ulta to online shop awhile back it made a 2nd account because it was a different address. I was told to check the addresses and make sure they matched exactly and then they would merge the two accounts into one account.
      Wow! What a huge mistake. The lady that signed me up in store, while so nice and friendly, had completely mangled my address. Due to a language barrier she had misunderstood me when I gave her my address and mistyped it. Actually, my street name wasn't even real words! Seriously, they weren't real words. I'm lucky my online orders have made it to me. I corrected the mistake and finally, after well over a year of issues and multiple attempts to get this fixed, it is fixed. The only problem is that all the times that I should have had points multiplied by 2x-5x when shopping in the store were never applied and I've lost out on a lot of reward points. It's also why my coupons didn't apply and I was unable to save money on items.
      Thankfully, after several emails back and forth, the online customer service rep was able to get the issue straightened out.

      I will not be coming to this location again, so I called this location before I got here asking them if they had a product still in stock, the staff worker responded and told me yes, i asked her how many they had and she CLEARY SAID 2 and I asked her if she could PLEASE HOLD IT FOR ME BC I was coming from west Chester to pick up up... the lady took my first name and last name and my phone number Abs said we will have it on hold for u. Mind you I had already driven to 3 different Ulta's to get to this dumbass location for the stupid manager to first come to me and ask me if I'm finding everything okay and being rude, I let her know I called about some lipsticks and she was okay okay and like walking away, anyways I go to the front to buy the lipsticks I called for, come to find out she never put them on hold... denied telling me she was placing it on hold, stated oh some customer grabbed it while she was there looking to see if we had it to put it on the side. It just shows that this manager obviously is VERY INCONSIDERATE OF THE CUSTOMER AND OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T give a fuck. I wasted my time abs GAS TO COME AND THEY TELL ME THIS BS. I'm very disappointed in the fact that this Ulta staff member didn't call me back and apologiz and say hey as we were getting it someone grabbed it would u like us to place the orde for u ...... NO NOTHING JUST PROCEEDS TO TWLL ME THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO AND IS ACCUSING ME OF HER NOT SAYING THAT SHE HAd it and took my number down ect. I took the time to write this review because that was a very rude, unprofessional experience. IN ANY BUSINESS YOU DO AS A MANAGER OR AN EMPLOYEE , it's to Make your customers happy and sometimes going the extra mile, it will always make your business be better. It's whatever, I will continue to go to my location Ulta bc they never mistreat me the way this location did

      I went to this store to return an item- which I have never done in the past. I often shop at Ulta and always have wonderful experiences. Anyway - I get to the counter and an associate is being trained by another associate and they are both very rude and unwelcoming. I ask for a store credit card and they both ignore me. They process the return, and barely acknowledge me, and then they say ' it's back on your Visa card'. The card I used for this transaction was a visa gift card ( specifically for Ulta and other stores ). When I purchased the item- the cashier asked if I wanted her to throw my card away as it wouldn't be used In the future and I said sure. So back to present day, they hand me the receipt and I'm like ' where is my gift card ' and they are like no it just goes back on your visa that you no longer have because it's a gift card. They call up the manager who tells me multiple times there is nothing she can do. She does apologize- but just tells me to call visa. After 2 hours on the phone with visa- they tell me there is nothing they can do. So now I'm out the item I returned, 35 dollars, and 2-3 hours of my life. I then contact ULTA, and they respond to me and say the store manager will be reaching out. After 3 days I ask when I will hear from the store manager, and they don't respond. I will not shop here again and I urge others not to as well.

      This Ulta location's staff is a joke. I just placed a CALL to this location and had an ultimate WTF moment.

      I'm not wasting a lot of time and words on such a bitchy-ass store because it doesn't deserve a think piece on how underqualified but entitled their makeup girls are, but suffice to stay I will avoid this location. I'll take my cash and increase the hourly sales at any other Ulta location.

      I'm a platinum member blahblahblah which just means I spend too much money at Ulta and allow them to track what I buy in exchange for perks and coupons. One of these perks is free samples of prestige brand cosmetics, etc. The annoying problem is that stores seem to always be woefully under-stocked with these samples, however they have ALWAYS kindly allowed a substitute free sample of another product because, well, it's Ulta corporate's underwriters' fault for not properly calculating the amount of free samples attributable to the number of platinum members that they email about these rewards.

      I didn't want to make that trip for a Becca product just for them to be out, so I called the Kenwood location and asked if they had any samples remaining: of course they didn't. So I asked my routine follow-up question of what other samples did they have available that they would sub instead. The register girl or whatever her title was got the nastiest, snotty tone after putting me on hold to "talk to her manager" (seriously, this is hardly a management talking point) and practically sing-sang her response to me "sorryyyyy, no substitutions!" CLICK.

      Again, WTF moment and wake-up call about an overpriced Wal-Mart of makeup. To this Ulta location's staff, you're not even CLOSE to the caliber of a Sephora employee. Yet, every time I am assisted by a Sephora employee they wait on and treat me as if they are my personal beauty consultant and I am their prized client. Kenwood Ulta, take notes and make flash cards.

      If I could give them 0 stars I would!! Made an appointment on my wedding day last month and they got me in the salon for my hair 35 minutes past my appointment time, were unapologetic and I ended up being late getting my hair finished as well! By the time I got back to the ceremony site I had 20 minutes left to do my makeup, nails, lashes & get dressed!! Needless to say, I didn't get to do my lashes or nails...and my makeup wasn't what I wanted it to be on my special day. Not only that but my updo was falling down DURING THE CEREMONY!! I've had to edit all my pictures because the "stylist" did a horrible job. :(
      The salon management has barely apologized to me and it took over a week to get a refund for my hair appointment. I live almost an hour away and to get my refund I have to travel back to the salon with my receipt to get it. I will NEVER go to ULTA beauty for ANYTHING ever again. This store is a joke and cares nothing about their customers!! STAY AWAY!!

      UPDATE***
      Just thought I would update everyone. Last year they ruined my wedding day. My hairstyle was falling out and they made me late to my own wedding. So on my big day I had horrible hair, hardly any makeup on because I didn't have time to get it done, no lashes didn't have time to do those either. I had set aside over an hour to do my makeup and lashes... That's how late they made me for my wedding!! After fighting with store management about the situation they finally refunded my money over the phone and sent me a little tiny makeup bag for the trouble. That's it. Best day of my life and all I can look back on was that I didn't look the way I wanted for my husband. How lovely. Guess there's always vow renewals, right?? :(
