Are they dog friendly?
A:
I called them and they let me know that they are okay with dogs inside as long as they are not disruptive and loud.

Ugly mug cafe is a cozy spot in the U District area. The furniture and decor inside looks very vintage and homey. They have a lot of options on their menu, including house made syrups and interesting seasonal drinks. They even offer hemp milk, which I don't see too often at cafes.
I had their latte with the house made vanilla syrup. It was really good - the coffee was smooth and strong, and the syrup wasn't too sweet. The only thing I wasn't 100% satisfied with was the temperature of the latte. I asked for it extra hot, but my drink was warm at best. I'm not sure if that's how they normally make their hot drinks or if it was just an off day.
It was a little busy when I went, but the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend giving this coffee shop a visit!

My friend recommended me this place for their matcha lattes and had to try it. I got a seasonal special, strawberry matcha. The matcha was decent, I wish it had more flavor. The strawberries were all concentrated at the bottom and I didn't stir it so I only had the strawberry flavor when I was near the bottom of my drink. The strawberry syrup was really good. I'd come here again if I'm in the U-district area

My fav cafe right now. The quality of the drinks and the food is above and beyond what you would expect from a quaint cafe! They use real chocolate and real strawberry in their drinks, which is why it's one of my faves. I really appreciate high quality craftsmanship. The sandwich has an aioli that takes it to another level, with a buttery, flaky croissant, perfectly ripe tomatoes, avocado, and quality ham. The baristas are always very kind, but I did subtract one star just because they never greet you when you walk in, or come to the counter, which happens to be a pet peeve of mine. I believe it should be customary to greet the customer first. Other than that, everything is amazing! Great spot to study with friends or enjoy a coffee date with your love.

Love this cozy little coffee shop right across from the U-Dustrict light rail station. Super convenient location right by all the restaurants and stores. They have so many drinks on their menu with plenty of flavors and syrups to pick from. I love that they had a themed menu for February as well!
Strawberry Iced Latte: I had to add espresso to it as this drink doesn't come with any, makes it a nice option for kids as well. The strawberry compote was so delicious but kinda hard to drink with a straw. It was quite sweet but mixing in the espresso made it perfect. Highly recommend trying this out or adding the strawberry to any drink!
They have a couch and plenty of tables to work at or just hang out. It was relatively quiet even though it was filled with people which I was very happy about!

We tried their coffee on a rare sunny day in seattle. The service was amazing. The coffee is really good here. The ambiance is weirdly amazing. Overall, a good cafe to explore and enjoy.

Was working at a UW affiliate on University Avenue. One of my colleagues suggested we go to lunch here, to debrief and have fun on our lunch hour. A really unique place to come to. The creativity of the furnishings, the atmosphere and the food created a memorable meal. As you walk in, the furnishings make you feel as if you have entered your eccentric aunt's home, who loves you no matter what. The list of innovative drinks is fabulous. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel, plus a butterscotch latte. The salmon bagel was fresh and included a generous amount of salmon. The latte was not too sweet and I loved every sip of it. The personalized service and high quality of the food and drinks is what stood out to me. I felt like my hip quota improved by just entering this place. Hard to leave and go back to the mundane self I usually am. Love the unique feel of this place, the high quality food and drinks and the friendly staff. Great experience here.

Ugly Mug Café is a cozy spot with a great atmosphere, perfect to get away from the crazy university life. Their coffee is top-notch, especially since they roast their own beans, and you can really taste the difference in the freshness. The staff is friendly, and they have a good selection of pastries and snacks. It's a bit tucked away, but worth seeking out for coffee lovers!

Super cute place with a couch and tables with amazing lattes and food. Had a bagel and cream cheese and a croissant sandwich w ham for food and a tea and a latte for drinks - all were delicious and the employees were very friendly. I thought it was fairly priced.

This is a place that reminds me of my college years. Probably because it was jammed with UW college students caffeinating before studying. The food menu is limited but what I had was good. The coffee and drinks menu was long and very tasty. I will return.

What cute little spot in U District (right across the street from the link station). Despite the day's winter freeze, it was sunny and a nice day to venture out into the city. I had an iced latte and a bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, the works (you know!).
It was chilly inside the shoppe but it was still cosy and enjoyable.
