First time trying Ugly Mug -- fun name. Ate an Egg Croissant Sandwich with the bacon and Swiss cheese options. Drink was an Americano. The sandwich was fantastic. I enjoyed the poached egg and tomato slice. It was served on a real ceramic plate and with real metal knife and fork -- nice touches.
I chose to dine onsite where there was ample seating, good light coming in the windows, and speedy wi-fi for the phone.

Maybe the best coffee I've had in Seattle hands down.. the interior of the shop is cozy and bright, with several places to sit. The staff is very chill and kind, they care about the craft coffee!
I always order the iced mocha with oat milk... they use local chocolate, so the taste is unique and perfectly pairs together.
A must visit for some great Seattle brew!

Greeted with a gorgeous smile and delightful outlook. The smells alone made the morning feel exciting. Delicious coffee. Got some espresso beans to go- roasted in house!

Such a gem of Interbay, the interior is beyond cozy, the coffee is unbelievably tasty and the baristas are super sweet. I will definitely be going back and checking out their other locations around the city!

Great coffee shop. Good people.
The seasonal coffees are really good. Love the butterscotch latte and the strawberry matcha iced latte.
However this place is no longer pet friendly inside.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 29, 2023
The service is great here. And the location is cute. The coffee is mediocre.
And today I had an avocado toast that was comically bad.
I was skeptical and shouldn't have wasted my money. Feta and almond slivers rosemary aoili. I'm posting this as a warning.
Do not order this.
No refund or discount was offered.
These are super nice people.
Just life is too great for bad food or coffee!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 17, 2023
Stopped by Ugly Mug on a rainy Saturday to hang out and do some work on my computer. There were quite a few people in the late morning, but most were grabbing and going quickly.
Service was great - the staff was really friendly and handled the morning rush well.
Food was also good - pretty generic cafe food options like bagels, pastries, and such, but their croissant sandwiches seemed really popular ($7-$11).
For drinks - they had a lot of fun options and seemed to switch out seasonal drinks often and the latte was pretty good ($5.50) so I will definitely come by to try it again!
Overall vibe was very homey and cozy, reminded me of study cafes when I was in college. They also allow dogs inside, which is such a plus for me!
Lastly parking situation is not too bad, there's 2 residential streets with easy parking on a weekend. Overall, definitely recommend as it seems to be a local favorite in the neighborhood.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Remy K.Fairfax, VA011915Jul 7, 2024
This is such a gem of a coffee shop! The coffee and service are fantastic, and the space is so cozy with outlets for working. Parking is usually pretty easy. I love all the macrina pastries, I just wish they had more of the savory scones (ham and cheese) in stock more often!

Coffee was fine, service was...awkward? I walked in, it was very quiet, and there were three guys standing behind the counter just kind of staring. It made me nervous to where I didn't read the menu thoroughly enough to find drip coffee, so I ended up ordering an Americano with - get this - two shots of espresso added, where my husband thought I had ordered drip coffee with the shots. Nope, my socially anxious ass ordered espresso with shots of espresso. I felt like an idiot for the rest of the day.
Can't completely blame the awkwardness on the baristas as it's pretty clear I'm rather awkward myself, but it's never easy to do anything when you're just kind of being stared at.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Joshua A.Salt Lake City, UT1241Jul 11, 2024
I've been here a few times and always find the coffee very enjoyable; fun seasonal menus that are unique (no Starbucks copycats here) and the service is always quick for a small cafe. Wouldn't say the service is terribly impressive or friendly but I don't mind that at all; I much prefer a satisfying and consistent coffee experience. Lastly there is a variety of nice seating options and the space is very inviting and comfortable- can't beat that!!
