We specialize in iPhone, iPad, Samsung, LG, and Google repair. Our service offerings are unique because we are the only store in Boston that does refurbished original screen repair. Furthermore, repair parts are all individually tested by store technicians to ensure they are the best quality. Most other repair stores will offer you only aftermarket screen repair because they cost less. However, these aftermarket parts come in different qualities and are all inferior to original screen quality. Refurbished original screen is much brighter (at least 20%, and up to 40% depending on the models), much more vivid, and more durable.

All I can say is WOW.
My mom severely cracked her iPhone screen to the point where her Face ID wouldn't even work anymore. We were on our way to the Apple Store to buy her a new one when I informed her that getting her screen replaced would be significantly cheaper. She was hesitant, but I convinced her to stop by TurtleScreen near her house after seeing great news articles about it online.
We came in at 6:15PM just to inquire about pricing and their hours - thinking they wouldn't be able to do a same day repair given they close at 7PM. However, they squeezed us in as soon as we came through the doors and by 6:45PM my mom had a brand new phone screen! She's so happy with how her phone looks and we were extremely impressed by the professionalism of the folks working at TurtleScreen qnd their efficiency. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and my mom ended up saving hundreds of dollars compared to getting a new phone! Can't recommend these guys enough!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tamyka S.Roslindale, Boston, MA298Jun 2, 2023
Exceptional customer service!
I was greeted with a smile and he was pleasant and professional the entire interaction which was a huge difference from the place in JP I just dealt with.
Timely Turn-around
Fortunately, they had the screen for my phone so I waited for only an hour or so, maybe 90 minutes.
Quality Service
I should have came here first. I know two other people who brought their phones here to get fixed and was very pleased. I was also very pleased with the quality of service.
I highly recommend you bring your broken phones here to be repaired!
Thank you Turtlescreen!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yvonne B.Boston, MA3319672918Apr 22, 2021
I had a really positive experience with TurtleScreen. I called ahead of time to make sure that they would be able to repair my cracked Samsung S8.
The guy who answered delighted me by giving me two options: replace the glass ONLY (available if the screen still works) and replace the screen and battery and all that. I'd called around to a couple other places and every other place only offered the second option for the same price as TurtleScreen which was $220. The first option was $120. I learned that TurtleScreen is the only company in the area that has the capability to replace the glass under certain circumstances.
The whole process took from 10:30 AM until about 3:30 PM. Now my phone is beautiful again!
The work space is super no-frills, utilitarian. I think there might have been a chair for people who wait. I don't know who would want to wait there because it's not that inviting of a space. The three guys who worked there seemed hip and were really nice. They were polite and helpful.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 10Oh no 0 - Quang Angel H.Alameda, CA892161Oct 18, 2017First to Review
Aight, here's the run down.
Saw an article on the Globe about these guys and ironically, I suffered from a shattered iPhone screen. Took the drive to Dorchester and am very happy that I did. The store may be a little difficult to locate as you drive by, but as you walk in that general area, you will see a side walk sign pointing to the direction of the store.
If you're expecting a shiny, modern looking store, set your expectations real low. The decor is nothing to get excited over, but you're not there to sight see right? I believe it was the owner of the store that I was speaking to, was cordial and informative. Pretty much gave me the bare bone options of the Chinese brand screen replacement or the original Apple replacement. Went for the more expensive OEM replacement, which costed $90 for my iPhone 6+.
I was told to come back 15-20 minutes, which was enough to eat a banh mi for lunch and walk across the street. My phone looked new again! I write this review one week later, and everything is functioning normally. I do like how there is I think a 30-day warranty on the purchase the screen.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Eric W.Cambridge, MA331Mar 4, 2018
Brought my iPhone 6S in for a screen replacement. Had been putting it off for quite some time but decided it was finally bothering me enough to get if fixed.
I had heard about these guys in a Globe article read a little while ago. Whole thing was quick and with the current 20% discount they have on Yelp was able to get the OEM version for the price of the Chinese aftermarket one. Happy with the replacement so far no issues!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hung T.Dorchester, MA13711723Oct 15, 2019
Best guys for phone repair. The only one in town with high end equipment for repair. Micro welding, dust control canopy, uv gel, the rates are unbeatable. They also do repair for other shops in Dorchester that upcharge. So don't go to middle man and deal directly.

I also saw an article on the Boston Globe which stuck in my mind. Google'd Dorchester for cracked screen repairs and they came up front and centered. While I could have taken my ipad 2 into a shop in the Pru or along Newbury St I am glad I took the drive.
The shop was busy with technicians which included two guys in a plastic bubble clean room. This is important for dust control as well as static. They gave me an hour to complete the job and they were right on time.
Great job by some local guys who can fix many devices other's can't.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Danny H.Boston, MA272Apr 4, 2018Updated review
Wow great side of the story, as if you were the victim. First of all you lied right off the bat about my phone. My phone was 100% functional and all it had was a broken screen.
"NUMBER 1" Good job for sending the link to a screen that no one would even bother opening. When a customer comes into a store, any store, does he or she need to know where you buy your merchandise? No, that's on you. Also you said you had to buy my screen twice.. Why's that? Because you messed up the first one. I suppose I should tell you where to buy your parts and how much you should charge your customers too?
"NUMBER 2" Again, where you buy your merchandise of none of your customers concern. We simply just want the job done and done right. If you cannot do a job I'm a timely manner, don't do the job. 3 weeks for a screen replacement because of a charging port in California? Also, what businesses out there can't even leave a voicemail?
"NUMBER 3" How are you going to literally write that I did not come 7 times? I don't even understand this number 3 section. I came to this store 7 TIMES, drove from my house 7 TIMES, parked my car 7 TIMES, knocked on your door 7 TIMES. Are you serious? 3 times? This is a joke. S6 Edge isn't a easy phone to repair? Yes, if you don't know what you're doing. I brought my phone to CPR before and it was like $230 dollars, with only TWO trips, drop off and pickup. Wish I did it again, but you get what you pay for I suppose.
"NUMBER 4" This is the most important. I WAS NOT RUDE, YOU'RE JUST INCOMPETENT. I threatened you? Trying to make yourself the victim? Are you kidding? This is a great business, I come in with fully functional phone with a broken screen, I come out with a partially functional phone with a new screen. That's a horrible trade. On top of that, 3 WEEKS. Do your job well and you people won't be rude. Reviews is good thing too, stop making yourself the victim and just be better. You fucked my phone up and wasted of a lot time. Also the last part of your reply makes you seem weak. Sorry about my negative reviews at 11pm at night. To the next person, please send all negative reviews before 11pm sharp or it'll seem like your world is falling apart.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This is the Owner. And I am responding to the post below from Vo Huynh to present our side of the story.
Number 1: The screen itself cost $160. Here's the link to the price of the screen
https://www.mobilesentrix.com/lcd-assembly-white-for-samsung-s6-edge-premium-with-frame
And how much did you ended up paying? $100. We lost money and time. We fixed your screen and actually replaced the charging port for you. The phone has had previous work done, as shown by the fact that there are anti-static and anti-heat tape for soldering. You have even told us someone has touched the phone before. Your phone had a completely broken Screen that was unusable, and now you had a brand new screen.
Number 2: The fact that it takes three weeks is because no one in the entire east coast stock that particular charging port. We had to buy it from California. We called you numerous times when we received the part, and every time you didn't pick up. You then proceeded to call us back and got upset because we didn't "call" you.
Number 3: You did not take 7 trips. It took you three trips. One is because we are closing and you needed a phone so we had to return the phone to you so you could use it even though the repair is not finished. Another trip is so we can fix your button but it turned out your charging port has issue so we had to replace the entire charging port. And we gave your basically a free repair because of our mistake and we apologized every step of the way.
Number 4: This is the most important. You can be upset, that is your right. But you are very rude every time you come in. You even threatened us on the way out about Yelp review. You came with a completely broken S6 Edge (with a broken OLED) , otherwise you wouldn't have had it fixed. And what did you leave with? You left with a new screen, and a non-working multi-tasking button (which there is a workaround with a on-screen multi-tasking button). IT is our fault, but please don't make it as if you are walking away worse off. Most places will charge you $250 for the S6 Edge, and you got it repaired for $100!
Please don't be condescending as "Just a bunch of kids watching how to fix phones on Youtube." I'm probably older than you (I'm 33), and you have the worst attitude as a customer. It is one thing if we blow you off, or refuse to give you service. We offer you a service, and we want to be a good business, but we are not here to be abused. Instead, we offer at cost, and you actually paid less than cost, your phone is still 99% functional, and yet you still threatened us. Put yourself into the shoes of someone who provided a service, who went above and beyond to offer you a loaner phone, it worked which no other place will offer, to rectify the mistake. It is an unlocked phone so I don't even know why it doesn't work with your sim card, when we tested it with ours. Mistakes happened, and we apologized at every step of the way. Your phone is still functional, and you only paid $100.Apr 2, 2018Previous reviewBEWARE ALL ANDROID USERS. I had the worst experience here and if I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would. Brief overview, I had to make 7 trips here just for a screen replacement and after 3 weeks, the owner returns my phone with a broken screen button. Read below for full description.
I recently saw them on Facebook and they were getting some hype so I decided to give this place a shot with my S6 Edge. I needed a screen replacement so I messaged them on FB and asked how much, the reply I got was $180.
So I came in (1) and they told the price was actually not $180 and now it was $195 and they also told me I had to deposit $100 so they can order the screen. So I did, and they called me back three days later and I came in (2) on a Thursday to drop my phone off at around 4:30pm and the owner told me it'll take about an hour. I came back an hour later (3) and he tells me he's almost done with my phone and I sit there for a HOUR AND A HALF WAITING! And I received my phone back with a broken camera and a broken screen button!!
The owner told me to come back the next day and when I did (4), he told me he was too busy to finish it and I had to come back Monday. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?! I come back on Monday (5) and HE'S NOT THERE. At this point I've been here 5 times and I'm just blown away at this. I called back on Tuesday very frustrated and the owner tells me to come in. On the way there he calls me and ADMITS he messed up and he would replace my screen with a new one he's going to order and that it'll be shipped in 2 or 3 days. A WEEK LATER.... I called them back and the owner isn't there. The next day I call back again and the owner picks up the phone and he claims he attempted to contact me a few days earlier but no voicemail was ever left.
So I come in AGAIN! (6) And a few hours later he calls me AGAIN and says he needs to order ANOTHER PIECE for my phone and he would give me a loaner phone for the time being. I get my loaner phone is it's not even the right carrier. So for few days I couldn't call or receive calls but my texts were going threw so I decided to deal with it.
So after waiting for the weekend, I come in on Monday (7) to finally pick up my phone and THE OWNER GIVES IT TO ME WITH A BROKEN SCREEN WINDOWS BUTTON! WHAT'S THE PROBLEM HERE?! IT'S BEEN 3 WEEKS AND YOU'RE RETURNING MY PHONE TO ME WITH A BROKEN SCREEN BUTTON. AND ON TOP OF THAT! HE TRIED TO CHARGE ME $40 FOR WHATEVER REASON.
I'm literally so disappointed in this place, the owner, the workers and everything this place is. Save yourself the trouble and go to a place where there's a least a little bit of professionalism and a little bit of customer service. This so called "business" is literally a group of kids who got to together, watched a YouTube video on how to fix iPhones, and decided to charge cheaper than the rest.
DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE HERE!!! - Mandy H.Manhattan, New York, NY111324Jun 20, 2019
Great service and work ethic. I got my cracked screen replaced in a blink of an eye with only $90 walking in. Would have had to pay more at the Apple store with an appointment booked in advance.
