The nostalgic scoop candy shop of my dreams!! I am so so excited that this adorable sunny shop has opened in LA's best walkable neighborhood. Now I can fill a bag with a tangy tangle of sour belts from the impressive array of flavors (neatly stowed in pristine clean beautiful drawers--great design!) to bring along with me on my Los Feliz vintage shopping stroll. Ah, the perfect afternoon. Thank you, Tuesday's Sweet Shoppe!!!

I brought my students here after an afternoon of ceramic painting so they could raid the candy bins (they were actually very well behaved). We had fun filling our candy bags with so many tasty treats. The cost of the bin candy is by the pound and really not that expensive. It's the candy bars and other treats that are on the pricey side.
The lady on shift that day was very patient, but not the best at troubleshooting. One of my students wanted purchased around $45 worth of candy including a $12 treat he wanted to get for his mom. They lady was short on change so instead of figuring something out, she had him put the $12 bag back. I think most people would have had a better solution. Aside from that, we had a great experience and I can't wait to return.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 2 - Oct 4, 2022
Mixed emotions here. The shop is visually striking. It's located in the new Shops at Sportsmen's Lodge center, which must surely be the high rent district. Why do I say that? A couple of fancy chocolate bars ($6.25 each) and a small bag of serve-yourself candy was over $20. Ouch!
The man tending the store was friendly, once he got off his phone. Am not sure what all the staff member is expected to do during business hours, i.e., straightening, cleaning, etc. Am pretty sure that being absorbed with a screen and not with greeting guests or offering assistance isn't really what's expected. That being said, I can stick my hand up and say that at times I get distracted by something on my phone and have to reconnect with real-time activities and offer sincere apologies to my spouse or other companions for a temporary disconnection.
Am still trying to get over the sticker shock of their prices, though. I see another reviewer mentioned that the candy was stale. I wonder how many people / families can afford to step up for $15 a pound sweets to have enough volume turnover to keep the stock fresh?
If we weren't treating for our small group I might have only stuck my head in the door then walked out again. Generally, candy shops aren't where you'd normally find us. We were strolling the plaza and were willing to see what a few of their tenants had to offer. They're located near Erewon (high end grocery store) and may get some traffic that way.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 1 - Aug 11, 2022
Adorable candy shop in a great location.
This fun candy store is located in The Shops at Sportsmen's Lodge, an outdoor mall with an Erewon market. Parking in the lot was free and easy.
I visited on a Sunday afternoon. This shop was clean, organized and well stocked with all types of bin candy. They sell candy by weight but also had individually wrapped chocolate bars.
Customer service was friendly and helpful.
Pricing was $14.99 per lb.
I got my fix. :)Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Brittni G.Lakewood, CA24241Dec 10, 2023
This shop is listed like it's open for business and it's NOT! We drove from a very far distance just to come here for some candy and the shop has vanished! This is unfortunate. We called the number and no one answered.

I really wanted to like this place. The service is great! The cleanliness and covid procedures are fantastic and the people working there are lovely.
Yet the candy it self I found to be stale.
Very disappointing to spend $20 on a bag of candy and find 2/3 of the gummy's hard and stale.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laura E.Los Angeles, CA7741196479Jun 2, 2019
Such a cute hole in the wall candy shop! They have a nice variety of fancy/gourmet candies and chocolates, but they also had your traditional nostalgic sweets like jelly belly beans!
The guy who helped us was so kind. There were samples of these cute ice cream cone gummies on the counter and as I took one he explained that those are the newest jelly belly gummies in which the cone part tastes like the cone and the ice cream part tastes like ice cream. It's not something you readily think about that someone needs to be kept up to date on the latest trends in the candy industry! I'm so glad he was able to share some information and make it an interactive experience.
Great customer service, great selection, and overall such a fun vibe! Glad I found this place.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 12Oh no 0 - Gwen D.Norwalk, CT51617Sep 2, 2018
Wow this place is AWESOME! It's right next to the Alcove which is a great location and the decor and experience are top notch, and don't even get me started on the candy! The lady working there was quite possibly the nicest person EVER - she happily took us on a candy tasting extravaganza where we tried candy i have never seen, heard of or tasted - and she knew literally EVERYTHING about all of them. If you love candy, or love just new and exciting flavors this place is for you.
I would highly recommend this place, there is literally something for everyone. We had chocolate covered cinnamon gummy bears, prosecco gummy bears, peach penguins, turtles that have a different flavor gummy for the shell than the body, funfetti bites (think cookie dough balls but instead funetti flavors) and everything else you could imagine. They are all better tasting than the ones you buy in the store, and it's just the cutest little experience. Definitely go!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kimmy H.Culver City, CA5992404050Aug 16, 2018

This new sweet shop popped up on my lunch break walking path, so I decided to go in and take a peek. They offer bulk candy at the hefty price of over $13/ pound. With a great assortment, you'll likely be able to satiate your sweet tooth. I picked out a few sour gummy candies to keep at my desk during high stress moments. It's definitely a cute shop, but be prepared to pay premium for your treats.
