Troupe Salon

I never wanted to Yelp about my hairstylist, Henry, when I lived in Chicago, because I didn't want to share him with anyone, but now that I no longer live there and won't have to compete with the rest of his clients to get appointments, I have to tell the world how awesome he is.

I have really difficult hair that I kind of obsess over. (Sad but true.) It's super thick and curly and I am in a constant battle to make it obey me. I have spent way too much money trying to get it to look right and I have been to a million different hairstylists and Henry was by far the best. From the first time I went to him he took the time to ask me a lot of questions and had me look at different colors to make sure that he got exactly what I wanted. He also takes really good notes on all the products that he uses so that he can adjust the next time you come in based on your feedback.

The whole time Henry was my stylist, my hair never looked better. Great cut and beautiful color. What's more I always really looked forward to my appointments because we had so much fun talking and gossiping. He is super fun and personable and very easy to make conversation with, which is definitely nice when you're sitting in his chair for a few hours at a time.

Troupe itself is a nice little salon right in the heart of the gold coast, so it's nice and central. There are only a few stylists but everyone was always very friendly and accommodating.
