I cannot thank him enough for stepping in and taking care of the disaster the other company left me with!

As I got closer to my installation date it seemed as though they were nickel and diming me so I decided to get another professional opinion, and I'm so glad I did. The moment I contacted Triple Line Solar I was at ease because Jeff was knowledgeable, friendly and honest. I received a quote and was shocked that I was able to save over $3000 for the same exact solar system.
The entire process was so easy including the planning, permits, financing, and inspections. Jeff always kept his word, was punctual and attentive to my concerns.

Jeff from Triple Line Solar installed the solar panels on my home nearly 7 years ago and it was before I purchased this house. I recently had a leak in the master bedroom. Before I had Jeff's contact info I went through several roofers and solar company's for estimates. They automatically blame it on the solar panels and want to re-do the whole roof rather than doing a patch job or attempt to find the issue. I got Jeff's info and contacted him, he immediately came out to check the issue and honored his workmanship. He didn't charge me to find the issue (hours of time) and it wasn't even the solar panel work that caused the issue. Jeff came back to patch the ripped paper and glue the broken tiles for practically free even though he didn't cause the issue. He really helped my family avoid a big expense and it's great to see there's still honest, friendly people like Jeff out there who aren't always trying to fatten their pockets. I would highly recommend Triple Line Solar to anyone. He is friendly, smart and cool dude who does great work. He spent hours and removing panels to resolve my issue that wasn't caused by his work and again for a practically free!! A big thanks to him!!

Jeff is always responsive and accommodating. He installed our solar system about 3 years ago and any time we have a question or need some maintenance, he is always quick to help. Our system is working great and we have no electric bill. Highly recommend.

Out of all the companies, out of all the Solar sales reps, Jeff at Triple Line Solar was not only the best price (by far) but the most knowledgeable! He eats, sleeps and breathes Solar! We highly recommend Triple Line Solar. With Jeffs knowledge, and excellent work ethic not to mention his awesome pricing, there was no way we could go wrong. The first time we had solar installed on another home by someone else, there was conduit, and electrical boxes all over the outside of our home. Now after Jeff has completed the install of his system, I had to ask, where are all the electrical boxes. He laughed and pointed to one box on the outside, and one on the inside. Not to mention there is NO conduit anywhere. That Solar Guy is amazing.

I contacted him late last year and he got me a quote extremely quick and then it took us a couple months to bite the bullet and decide to get solar and when we made the decision he was at our house the day we requested to sign paperwork and finished our solar within the next week ! He was absolutely fabulous worked very quickly but efficiently and our solar looks amazing ! I highly recommend Jeff with triple line solar !

This is an update to a previous review. I had a leak that I suspected was caused by my solar installation. Jeff came out to take a look at it and all evidence points to the leak being caused by accumulation of debris around my roof tiles and had nothing to do with the solar. Jeff fixed it anyway since he was up there investigating it for me. Hopefully this solves my roof leak issue going forward. Thanks Jeff!

Thanks for your patience on getting out there. In last 14 months I've been on 9 calls for roof leaks, NONE (like yours) were from solar. Many of the roofs leaks I see are in deteriorated roof paper. The leaks have been there for awhile but it just doesn't rain that much to cause ceiling damage. Even though the leaks are not from solar I fixed/repaired each one. I'm glad you are still very happy.
Sep 2, 2016Previous reviewI waited a full year to post this review because I wanted to get a feel for the overall reliability and cost effectiveness of the system. I did a lot of research before I purchased (PURCHASE! DO NOT LEASE!) a solar system. I contacted several of the big players in town and came away with the used car salesman feel from almost all of them. I contemplated purchasing the equipment and doing it myself. In my travels around the internet looking to purchase components, I came across Triple Line Solar. I had them out to give me a quote and when I received the price I was blown away. If I did it myself, the job would not have been as good and my savings would have only been a couple thousand dollars. No way I could pass up that deal. Additionally, they ran all the wiring inside my walls. Like somebody else said, the outside of my house and the inside of my garage is completely devoid of wiring, not looking like a rat's nest like my neighbor's slap hazard installs. Before my installation, they contracted to have my panel upgraded to 200A service. That went off without a hitch and looked great when they finished. On the day my install started, four installers showed up and immediately got to work. My install wasn't easy and took them the better part of three full days to finish. Everything looked and worked perfectly.
Now the real test. We've lived in this house for 17 years. Over the course of the last five years or so, our electric bills have averaged $4000 per year. My wife works at night and sleep during the day and requires the house be very cool in the summer so she can sleep. Typical two story home with only one A/C, hot upstairs during the day. I'm about 15 days from my yearly true up with SCE and it's looking like our electric bill will be around $200 for the year, almost all of that incurred in the two months from mid July to mid September. The system has been rock solid and has produced a very reliable output every day. I usually check the output every day along with my SCE usage and not one surprise in a year. We also purchased the type of inverters that allow for limited emergency usage during power outages. We've had two power outages this year, one large scale outage and one very localized outage where somebody ran their car into an electrical box up the street. On both occasions were were able to plug our fridge, freezer, FIOS internet, router, one DIRECTV receiver and one TV into the garage mounted inverters and at least enjoy cold food, fast internet (with a charged laptop or cell phone) and TV. Pretty cool, better than sitting in a hot dark house waiting for the power to go back on. Of course this feature only works when the sun's out, but still better than nothing.
As far as Jeff and his crew, I would highly, highly recommend them over one of those "big player" solar companies. Both my neighbors across the street had Horizon do their systems and both of them have been plagued by return service visits as observed by me seeing the Horizon truck continuously parked in one of their driveways for the first 90 days after installation.
