Trinh Hoi MD

I took my mom to Dr. Trinh Hoi today to check if they take my mom's insurance. My mom understands English and speak English a little bit so it's not a problem for her to communicate in English. She first approached an assistant who speak English well to asked some questions. However, the first assistant even didn't waste a second to talk to her. She turned to a Vietnamese-speaking lady and gave that lady a signal to help my mom. The Viet-speaking started talking rudely and impolitely to my mom. She didn't even look at my mom when talking to her. Seriously, I wanted to be straight up about her attitude, but I knew my mom didn't want to blow things up, so we asked her questions and walked away. People have a bad day but that's not the reason you carry that attitude to work, especially you are doing customer service. Can you at least respect your customer? The second she started talking to my mom, I knew that we won't come back here again.

Dr. Hoi K. Trinh is an unprofessional Dr.. I came in for gi issues he only did limited testing and was not trying to find out what was wrong with me.. he argued with me he called me fat twice.. saying I can't have gi issues and be fat at the same time... I have a health history of problems and he was so rude and inconsiderate run far away from the practice.. the manager of the office said I need to get a referral from my rheumatologist to be referred out to gi!! Nope, PCP needs to refer me!! Dr. Hoi K. Trinh would not refer me even when I have a long health history that's documented that points to me being misdiagnosed since 2014 so thank you for the horrible service at this office for 9 years and thank you for fat shaming me!! Run far away from this office!!

Man snapchat AI helped me more than Dr.Dr. Hoi K. Trinh. If you're seeing this Dr. CROHN'S DISEASE IS HEREDITARY/THERE ARE ALSO GENETIC FACTORS FOR HAVING CROHN'S DISEASE!! I FEEL YOUR SCHOOLING IS OUTDATED!! He moved to 5810 Jameson Ct, Carmichael, CA 95608 so if you don't want to get treated with disrespect by him don't go to that office!! Trying to help other people out!

Thank goodness that this MD is not going to practice starting next month (according to him). I totally agreed with the other Google review that "Dr. Hoi Trinh was super rude, very inconsiderate, negligent, misunderstanding, flat out unacceptable behavior as a Doctor." I took my parents to see him a couple of times. First time was fine and thought he was thorough, the only thing was that he surprised all of us with the way his hands approached to my mom's chest when listening to her heart.

Second and third visits were super rude and unprofessional. I asked him about some test results and related question with some professional terms (I am a healthcare provider myself), and he got offended and annoyed, straight up cut me off and said that HE IS THE DOCTOR here. He also commented rudely about our decision of seeking medical attention from an urgent care, " You think you are smart? Going to the urgent care. Why you give me trouble." (yes, his English was a bit hard to understand too, with a thick accent)

Anyways, I think you get my point. This guy does NOT show any respect. DO NOT GO TO HIM! I blame myself not reading the reviews before choosing him for my family. DO NOT make the same mistake as I did!

I had my televist appointment today , he was late 45 minutes and this guy , who call himself doctor, didn't even listen to my issue. Didn't let me speak and even he knew I was taking Norco, end it up giving me ibuprofen 400 for my pain. Are you serious ?? I can get better and strong medicine at Walmart OTC. When I tried to talk and explain my issue, he end it up hanging up on me. The call only lasted less than 4 minutes. He is worst doctor I ever had. Doesn't care at all about the patients. Don't waste your time.

this man shouldn't be called a doctor. i highly doubt that his license and certification are still valid.

I thought that doctor should do no harm and treat each patients equally. this "doctor" tell me that im fine even the paper says something else thats definitely NOT fine.

I came in for USCIS health examination with all health history record that I had. At that time, I already took all required vaccinations.

Hoi Trinh glanced quickly at my paperwork and told me that my health record looked complicated. Then, he advised me to pay another $2,000 to retake all vaccinations at his office.

I was like WHAT?

I'd involved in healthcare field for years in the US before going to his office. I was well aware how ny good my health was taken care off. Trinh Hoi might have thought that I did not understand a single words in English, just like a lot of new immigrants.

I could totally tell that Trinh Hoi just wanted to take advantage of people and make money.

After I pointed to him details about my vaccinations records, he was like "oh, you should be fine then, but you have to pay another $200 for office blood test and another $200 so I can sign the paperwork for you."

After I pay for the bill, Hoi Trinh did examination one-on-one on me in his office!!!! No nurse or assistant was there. He told me to lay down and put both of his hands on my chest for like 5 minutes.

I scarily walked out of his office just like after being sexual abuse.

Hoi Trinh's actions are unacceptable in healthcare.
AMA should never allow such a person to have a doctor practice license!

This Doctor absolutely SUCKS. Paid $490 CASH (HE ONLY ACCEPTS CASH) for a complete USCIS medical exam and this idiot left 1 part of the test result field out on purpose. When I went in for the USCIS interview 6 months later, I was told that the medical examination forms submitted is incomplete and I had to resubmit the entire medical form again. So I went back to have Dr. Hoi Trinh redo the entire medical report and this person has the nerves to give me an attitude like it's not his fault that he left out one of the test results blank. Not only that, he said that the medical report is not good anymore since it's over 90 days and that I had to pay another $240 in order to get it up-to-date. THIS GUY IS EFFIN' UNBELIEVABLE. Doesn't take responsibility for his mistakes and wanted to get paid again in order to have it redone. THIS DOCTOR IS A TOTAL SCAM ARTIST!!!

Absolutely terrible, if this gentleman is to be considered a doctor. I saw him three times, and two of the three were about being a bilateral below-knee amputee. The day before an MRI exam, the imaging center called me for the reason. I told them about the bk amputation and severe knee pain in the movement of the joint. They called me back to report that he had no idea I was an amputee. That said, he also tried to explain to me that he could not write a prescription for prosthetics, although it is necessary for new ones. This man should have his medical license revoked or he should simply retire. He has no care for his patients and does not understand the basics of medicine, such as providing even mediocre care for his patients.

What's the point of making an appointment if they will take other patients with no appointment and make me wait.
Anyway they have a new office past the Asia market and it's much bigger but the doctors English is not very good. He's a complete pervert. Very rude nurse and no privacy when you walk to the back

MALPRACTICE!

Previous reviews, along with my own, proves that this evil man does not deserve to be called a doctor. I am writing on behalf of my mom who went to this man for a physical and was incorrectly diagnosed with TB. She was prescribed high dosages of medication that not only was extremely expensive and unnecessary, but most importantly ones that sent her to the ER for a week. It was unfortunate that she had to go to the ER, but the real doctors there were able to correctly diagnose her. If she had not gone in, she would have continued paying for expensive meds that made her sick to her stomach for nine months, stayed quarantined to her room at home with a mask, missed the birth of her granddaughter, work and life in general.

Mr. Hoi K. Trinh not only incorrectly diagnosed her, but also made it difficult to solve the situation. He refused to sign disability paperwork (the ones she needed because of the missed work due to the "TB" that she had) and now refuses to sign paperwork to transfer her to a new doctor. This man takes advantage of people like my mom who doesn't speak English well and does not know how to go about taking care of associated paperwork and etc.

I write this so that no one else will have to go through such misery. Please stay away from this man and also take action if you have already had to deal with his malpractice. He can't get away with this!

Let me start by saying that I am a doctor in training & came here for a physical exam. I am appalled at his lack of professionalism, compassion, & skills as a physician in general. For example, his blood pressure machine malfunctioned & read my pressure as borderline hypertensive when I'm normotensive. Common medical protocol is to retake the pressure manually to double check again. Instead, he was too lazy to retake, blamed it on the machine, & recorded the incorrect reading. Another example is that I made my appointment & arrived on time. The receptionist told me to return later in the afternoon because he was booked. The purpose of an appointment is to reserve a specific time for the patient. His employees are unprofessional & rude just like him!

In addition, his medical knowledge is archaic, meaning that he was trained in Vietnam years ago & is not up-to-date with his medical knowledge (I know this because I asked him specific questions that he answered wrong). He also rushed through the encounter & was very inconsiderate. He is arrogant & talks down to patients. Sadly to say, most of his patients are elderly Vietnamese people who do not speak English & do not have the means to switch doctors due to language barriers, insurance reasons, etc. That is why he is still in business. Put him in another community & he would not survive with that type of service.

Overall, do not waste your time & money to see this physician. He is a disgrace to the medical community. Properly trained doctors do not act like him. I agree with previous posts on here that his license should be revoked.
